Metro Rapid 720 & 920

This line so far has been reliable Westbound, so it gets me to work. Going home is another story. The 20 is still faster in that case, and the passengers are cooler. (I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked all the way to Beverly and Wilshire and waited forever while watching two 20s breeze past, then three buses arrive at once, all of them packed, even at 9pm!) But the drivers on the 20 are weird. One guy bugged me to take him on as my personal trainer, and they make it impossible to transfer. There’s no rhyme or reason to it, and one woman got downright nasty about making me pay the full fare even with a transfer. I haven’t made the leap to invest in the pass yet. Every once in a while, the 20 will try to lure me back, but it’s like that ex you can never trust.
