Dr. Michael Nazarian has been providing Family, Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry in Los Angeles and New York City for over ten years. Combining the latest in dental technology and techniques, Dr. Nazarian treats all his patients with the highest level of service, professionalism, and individual care.

Dr. Michael Nazarian began his education by studying Molecular Biology at UCLA, and in 2001 received his Doctoral Degree from New York University College of Dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Nazarian continued on to a General Practice Residency and served as the Chief Resident at Saint Barnabas Hospital. By being an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the West Los Angeles Dental Society, Dr. Nazarian is able to keep up the newest in dental procedures.

Away from the practice, Dr. Nazarian enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Tehrani and their three young children. His hobbies include photography, cooking, and golfing.

Since moving to LA a couple years ago, I have tried hard to find a dentist who is thorough, not rushed, professional, and eager to get the best results for his patients (rather than the most cash for himself). That process for me has ended thanks to Dr. Nazarian. I saw him for a basic checkup and cleaning, which turned out to be the best I have had in a lifetime. He spent so much time with me, explained every single thing he found tooth-​by-​tooth, reviewing X-​rays with me, and performing the most comprehensive cleaning I have ever had. He always checked with my insurance before recommending any further treatments, and was honest about what was necessary or optional. I will always go to Dr. Nazarian for my teeth, and encourage you to do the same!

Dr. Nazarian’s practice is now full-​time at this location, and he is very busy. But he still makes time to explain his procedures carefully. I think he is very kind and very fair, and he does quality work. I’ve also returned for ZOOM, (which I had previously tried at 2 outside locations) and Dr. Nazarian’s was the most painless and the most effective.

Dr. Michael Nazarian and his staff are some of the most friendly and competent people I’ve ever met! after having a poor experience at another practice last week, my visit to Dr Nazarian was a breath of fresh air. He and his staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. He made sure I understood everything about my procedure, felt comfortable, and knew exactly what was going on. I really appreciated my visit today, and I plan to make him my regular dentist!

I’m one of those people that hate the dentist!
So, coming here helped me realize the dentist isn’t that bad. I’ve been coming here for almost two years maybe three now and will be all because Mr. Nazarian is the best dentist I’ve been too.
I was having jaw pain and needed to see a doctor fast so I called and was told the Dr. Wasn’t in on Wednesday but could get me in as early as Thursday. I didn’t want to wait so I called another office that could take me, at the end I decided to wait and just stick to my regular doctor. Once in Dr. Nazarian explained to me why I am having this pain. He was calm and explained everything clearly. He explained the ways I can avoid this issue and recommend a night guard. He went on to proceed with my cleaning but stopped instantly when he noticed my discomfort due to my jaw and said we will continue on my next visit. Although I could have continued I appreciated he stopped cleaning since I did have to go in to work after. (Also glad I didn’t see another dentist)
I highly recommend coming here. The staff and assistants are all very friendly. They always made sure I was comfortable and need of any assistance.
Office is nice and clean, and separate from the kids side. You can hear them cry which is always sad. If in need of a dentist don’t hesitate to call them and make your next appointment.

For all of my life, I’ve ALWAYS hated going to the dentist. However, going to see Dr. Nazarian and his staff including Chi and Kelly is always a pleasure. They not only treat me with respect, they treat me like family. Dr. Nazarian is excellent at explaining everything in his calm, clear matter and gives me clear options. I feel well taken care of here. I don’t need fancy tvs with movies to watch or a fancy office to feel taken care of. I’d much rather have the kindness and compassion shown to me at this office any day! LOVE them!

Dr. Tali is the best. Her staff members are nice and professional just like her. My daughter has been going to her for a few years since her very start of dental care. She loves Dr. Tali!
Also I love their automated service reminder system. A couple of times, I totally forgot about the dental appointments (even though they are on my iPhone calendar). It was the reminders sent from their system that helped me to make to the appointments on time.

My 4 year old daughter loves going to the dentist. She is so excited the night before. Not much better you can say about a pediatric dentist. The staff and Dr. Tali are all incredibly sensitive, respectful, and attuned to kids and their needs. No surprises, no scares, gentle, but thorough dental care.

Awesome place! Awesome place! I love this place and so do all 3 of my kids! Trust me you will not be disappointed. My 3 year old twins open right up and let them do cleaning and exams… it’s awesome!
I go to the adult side and it’s great … I would recommend this place to everyone I know!

A scammer and a fraud! This is the worst example of a dentist I’ve ever encountered. The best part is this was only for a supposed cleaning!
First off the XRAYS where horrible, the technician pushed the apparatus so hard into my mouth that my gums hurt even after leaving the office. Second this so dentist only proceeded to pick at my teeth with his dental pick and then only polish my teeth after I declined his deep cleaning service for a great discount of $ 650! Keep in mind after I declined he said he would try his best to do a «deep clean like» service for me to be nice.
He in fact was so persistent that he decided to keep reminding me while polishing my teeth and then upon leaving he decided to show me horrific pictures of tartar build up on google images. I was so angry I couldn’t leave the office fast enough after being charged $ 139 I forgot my sweater. Of course I had to go back and walk into his crummy office again to retrieve that. Beyond the point!
Days later I decided to contest this with my credit credit to attempt to get a refund. Finally at the grace of my tech from the orthodontist downstairs… She heard of the issues with this «dentist» and decided to get involved.
Dr. Nazarian then promised he would refund all the money for such a bad experience. Comes to show that never happened and I had to ask for it. Finally weeks later they decided to refund me only $ 90 out of the $ 139 because it was a problem with only «the cleaning.» Desperate for your money buddy? Is that why you need to up sell people for services that aren’t needed?
Ohh yeah! My regular dentist that I always used in Orange County for years said I have no Tartar and and it would be ridiculous to get a deep cleaning. He did perform the cleaning with you know, that high pitched ultra sonic thing a ma gig.
And that was the «good news» Dr. Nazarian! Perhaps you should worry about your own teeth and get them straighten and fixed first before ripping people off!

I don’t know why it’s hard to find a good dentist, but I’m so happy I found Dr. Nazarian! He has a great bed side manner, answers all your questions and I always trust that I’m getting the best care possible. Highly recommended if you’re looking for an honest and thorough dentist on le westside!

At first I was afraid, I was petrified! And then Dr Nazarian calmed me down and helped me conquer my fear of the dentist. He is so patient! He’ll clearly and slowly answer all your questions and explain what he’s going to do before he begins whatever procedure. Neat and pretty office, friendly and helpful staff, I am blessed to have found this dentist!

There are certain things in human experience that are considered major game changers. The wheel for transportation. The internet and cell phone for communication. Sliced bread. .. for making grilled cheese sandwiches. And now, there is Dr. Tali for your kids’ dental care. My 4 year-​old didn’t even flinch when Dr. Tali administered not one, not two, but THREE shots! In his mouth. While he was awake. The big steely painful type needles. Anyone that has that power has me as a devotee.

Our 4-​year-​old son had a cleaning /​check up with Dr. Tali. Our son felt right at home and even comfortable enough to be in the exam room without mom. (That’s a big accomplishment for us!)
Dr. Tali and the entire staff is great with both of my boys. She offers helpful, realistic suggestions each time we visit.

The first time I came I wasn’t too impressed by some staff members but leave that as it may be. I loved Dr. Nazarian’s etiquette, and bed-​side manner. He is honest, straightforward and willing to work with you.
I went in today as a rash decision because I needed to get something done about my cavities, and cleaning. I called them up the yesterday and asked for an opening and to my happy surprise they did! I needed it done this week because I need to go out of town for almost a week on Monday. In any case, his staff member Keli, and Chi (I really hope I spelled it correctly) had great mannerisms, and concerned whether I had any questions. Moreover Chi is VERY thorough and such a sweet lady. Dr. Nazarian himself talked to me before about what was going to be done, and what other things I may need to get done. He answered my questions, told me what I may be feeling and what I need to keep an eye out for. The procedure he filled two of my cavities and both he and Chi also worked on my cleaning. So far so good!
I have another appointment soon so I hope all goes well then also! If it continues to I definitely will recommend others to come.
In addition I will keep my Unilocaling up especially for dentistry as I know many people have the fears and anxiety when it comes to teeth.
Also because I need an implant and don’t have dental insurance or any financial help and I don’t work right now. He recommended two dentists who would be able to help with my implant.

A couple weeks ago I found Dr. Nazarian on Unilocal and decided to use him for a cleaning based on Unilocalers’ reviews.
There’s only one thing I can add to the amazing feedback about him (which is all true).
I have never been much of a flosser. It always seemed like a waste of time.
Every dentist has told me that I need to floss, but they’re dentists, so of course they’re going to tell me that.
Instead of just telling me to floss, Dr. Nazarian explained exactly why and showed me that 95% of the cavities I’VE EVER HAD are from not flossing (they are in between my teeth, not on top of them).
Most dentists run in and out of the exam room and don’t give their patients the time of day. Dr. Nazarian makes you feel like you’re the only patient on the schedule that day.
He’s the best dentist I’ve ever been to. And one of the best medical professionals. If you want a dentist that will make your dental experience as painless and educational as possible, look no further.

Hmm… I didn’t dislike Dr. Nazarian. «A-​OK» is a pretty apt description of how I feel.
The office is lovely, very clean and well-​decorated. The front desk receptionist is lovely and friendly.
I was able to schedule an 8AM appointment only two days in advance, which is incredibly convenient!
They have a text message confirmation system which I appreciate.
But I’m kind of ‘eh’ about the whole experience. I should have stuck with my usual dentist (reviewed elsewhere in my profile).
The dental assistant was very friendly. She said she graduated dental assistant school 3 months prior, and it did show. She was good, but rather slow and she seemed hesitant about her work.
Dr. Nazarian himself made a very brief appearance! He was with me for a short time, just saying things looked good with my Xrays and whatnot.
I had the misfortune of being in the exam room directly adjacent to the door leading to the lobby. They kept the door to my room open the entire time (not sure if this is a lawsuit prevention thing or what?). That in itself isn’t problematic if my door had been facing, say, a blank wall. But since my door was facing the lobby door, it was awkward. The lobby door was open for basically my whole visit. I asked if it could be closed, and the request was granted. But then three seconds later, someone left the door open again. Patients were walking past my door and I did feel uncomfortable. I think the office should be more aware of this and consider closing the doors out of respect for patient privacy.
I also realized my old dentist is a rarity in that he performed my cleaning himself, rather than have his dental assistant do it. I see now that is not common practice. So, my 8AM appointment saw me leaving the office at about 910AM. My old dentist would have had me out in 40minutes. He’s more seasoned than a dental assistant obviously, so it goes more quickly, I guess.
Overall, I think Dr. Nazarian is a quality dentist, but I think he’s not the dentist for me.
