Mini Garden Cafe & Restaurant

Mini Garden used to be a fun place to go to. it’s changed a lot. they used to have a dj on weekends which would make it a fun place to visit. I’m giving it 2 stars because of their hookahs. it’s like they always rush their packs. me & my friend went and had to ask 3 times to fix our hookah because of How bad it was. used to be way better. customer service is really good though!

Cozy nice place with great costumer service. Quality food and hookah. Highly recommend.

The owners dont care about anything excpet having their own hookah.
Got here at 5:00pm and was watching the NFL GAME AFTER FRED (the owner) figured out how to turn on the Tv for 45 minutes… only to have Serjik (another owner) to say there is a couple who wants to watch basketball, after my boyfriend & I were watching the football game for two hours & this couple had just walked in!!! Then serjik (the OTHER owner) gave us a guilt trip… because that couple had left… the couple was extremely aggressive & serjik DIDN’T do anything yo defuse it…
The waiter ANDY, IS spaced out… I asked for half orang juice & half cranberry juice… when he brought my drink it was all orange juice… only to tell me «the Orange juice is a bright color today «…really? Then he admitted they were out of cranberry juice! I mean just be honest.
Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!
I tried to give it several chance because I want to support local businesses.
But its HELL…
I dont want to leave any stars but Unilocal won’t let me.

The biggest BS is that Unilocal says they open at noon on Sundays but clearly they open anytime they’re done with their BS and decide to open!!! Either change n correct the hours here or get your shit together and don’t stand there and say «we open at 5 everyday» while it says here that you’re open.

The server Andy offers great customer service. He is very welcoming and gives great recommendations.

This place is a nice chill place for some good hookah. Always good service with the most friendly workers! Their chicken panini is awesome as well! Definitely give it a try you will

One star is too much for this place. Service 0 food 0 quality 0, I ordered mini garden special pizza they bring me a bread and cheese with 4 ps mushroom.

One of the most beautiful place in tujunga great service great hookahs. Prices are very convenient, employes are freindly and very calm envierment. Hookahs here hit clouds thanks for the great hookah boys. Awsome manager (Andy) helps the customers and asks them if everything is good. Keep up guys the great work

I’m torn right in the middle about this place.
Pros: Can’t stress enough the «garden» lounging experience which was a very unique ambience (especially for a hookah lounge). The ambience alone could almost off-​set the slow service.
Cons: Only 1 server & 1 hookah prep guy for the whole garden = ‘really’ slow service! (polite, not rude though), server hardly touched our table (server=4 times including one just to drop check, hookah guy=3 times to check charcoal & how hookah was smoking) all from a 2.5 hour stay
The hookahs are just okay. the bowls/​shisha packed don’t require maintenance, the glass hookah is the most bang-​for-​your-​buck (because of free refill), but I prefer the standard hookahs/​nargilas. tables are spaced pretty far apart because of the garden environment which is nice to have extra privacy for tables, but it compromises the service because the server has to constantly walk around the whole garden.
Quick review: Hookah experience didn’t excel or fail. whether you’re coming for hookah or just to sit down and relax with tea, it’s worth giving it a shot just to experience the garden environment.

The only reason I come back here is because of an amazing service provided by The Manager Anto!!! I never have to wait to be seated, my food is always on time, need I say more. I recommend this place it’s a nice chill place to hangout.

I’ve become a regular customer ever since they hired new waitresses. Their service has greatly improved and their new hookah guy’s packs are awesome! I always make sure to sit in the area that Sharis is waiting because she has always been extremely attentive and nice

Just do yourself and your friends a favor — go somewhere else.
Unfortunately Unilocal requires you to actually give a star because if not I would’ve left it at 0. WORST service, terrible food and on top of that management that really could care less if you’re unhappy. Place is a dirty mess and obviously understaffed or I guess no one really cares. Ordered food, some of it wrong some of it didn’t even show up even until the end whatsoever. Even the fries are terrible and that has to be the simplest thing an establishment has to offer. The supposed manager just sits around smoking hookah instead of checking to see how his establishment is doing. If you want a place that’s nearby and need hookah desperately come here just make sure you never order the food. *Fingers crossed* I don’t have food poisoning after leaving from this place.

Mini Garden has been around for years already and I have just been to the location, even though I’m always around the area.
Upon arrival, it was not clear where you’re supposed to wait to be seated. Thankfully my cousin and I got approached and seated promptly. The place is huge and is very roomy, even though the chairs were not the most comfortable. The décor looked more like a backyard party than a restaurant. This gave it a very casual, laid back vibe. The flaw in this is that it seemed to lack decorations.
I ordered the mini sliders to share with my cousin since we’re both light eaters. It was amazing. The fries were made exactly how I like it. The food is worth 5 stars. If you’re around for a quick bite and want mediocre hookah, this is the place.
The hookah wasn’t packed professionally. It burned within 15 minutes of arrival, which is a sign of lazy packing. Since this place is one of the only 3 hookah lounges in the area and one with the most reviews, you would think they would strive to pack professionally.
If you’re in the mood to socially smoke and have great food, this can be the spot, although I would recommend not having high expectations for hookah, even though you’re paying at least $ 15 for it.

I just heard positive things about this place and decide for stoping by.
When I showed up with few girls Andy the manager took really good care of me and my friends.
The order of food and hookah was over the excellent.
I really recommend you guys to stop by I love this place and definitely coming back this week.

We had a good service from Mike, we ordered 2 hookahs and both came really fast despite the fact that there were a lot of people.

Been here a few a times and each time we order something from the menu something else comes out. I don’t understand how you can have items on the menu and not bring out what was ordered.
Tea is always cold, soup is frozen, definitely the last time we go here. Feel sorry for the young pretty waitress’s cause its not their fault, but clearly they have issues with management and how they conduct business. Hate to be pessimistic, but its only a matter of time before this place closes, unless its a front for other operations… then it all makes sense… catch my drift? :)

This was my first time here. We came down to celebrate a birthday.
The customer service is horrible that’s why I gave 3 stars. If you order anything you will have to wait a long time to get it. I guess it is because the lack of employees which is easily solvable by hiring more.
Their drinks are great and the food is amazing a good place to host a birthday or any event.
It has Hooka services therefore don’t bring kids. The place will have a lot of smoke around and its harmful to children and adults as well but mostly for children.
Overall it’s a good place and I believe 3 stars if a fair rating.

To start, this is a really chill and cute spot (considering it’s located in a so so area). The servers, waitresses, hooka maker and security are really nice. However, this establishment is short staffed, beyond words. There is one hooka person that handles all the hookas and there are over twenty tables.
I’m not happy that it takes 45 minutes to get a pizza and cup of corn (weird order, I know… that’s besides the point). Ownership needs to step it up because this is ridiculous.

Great atmosphere for spending time. The menu is enough to get you through the night and then some.
The reason why you come here is to relax and enjoy privacy. Every gazebo is unquestionable and separate from the rest.
Service is grateful and not intrusive. Some comments complained about that but it doesn’t bother me that the server isn’t on our case the entire time.
Recommended.
