I noticed many of the reviews are for delivery, this review is for dine in. We ended up here on NYE when SugarFish(4 doors down) had closed early and we were hungry. Pros: Service was great. Our waitress was prompt, cheerful and helpful. Cons: Sushi wasn’t as fresh as I’m accustom to eating. Rolls were not tightly rolled. Just seemed off.

This place is great because they take delivery orders before they actually open the restaurant, allowing me and my coworkers to have food ready by our lunchtime. Also, the delivery man never has any trouble finding the clinic I work in. The food is reasonably priced. We’ve ordered bento boxes and have had no complaints. The bento boxes are not anything out of the ordinary. It includes salad, 4 california rolls, rice, and whatever meat or main dish you order(ie veggie tempura, salmon teriyaki). It also comes with miso soup and tempura(if you order something other than veggie tempura bento box). All this for not even $ 12. Definitely worth it. Delivery is also always prompt. Haven’t had a chance to order their other sushi rolls yet. Probably will in the future.

I’ve never actually been here, but I deliver all the time to my office. This is one of those places for a quick sushi fix and other things Japanese related. Usually get the Spicy Tuna bowl or a Teriyaki bowl. If I’m feeling kinda nice, I’ll add a California Roll. Not amazing food here, but does the trick in terms of ending a craving.

I was waiting for my take out and they gave me a bowl of miso soup to take the edge off. That was so nice!

Ordered delivery tonight, and was quoted 8:05 pm delivery… delivered at 8:05 pm. That right there gets 3 stars alone. The food was tasty, especially for delivery, but not spectacular. Definitely going to order from here again, and will probably dine there to see how much better it tastes fresh. So glad to find a restaurant with good food and honest delivery times!

Large order for a local business tonight was missing an entrée(teriyaki chicken with rice and salad). When it was provided, I opened the sealed bag & container, dipped into the salad and promptly bit into a mouthful of short black hair! I don’t know who was cooking tonight but they need an attitude or hygiene adjustment. Nasty!

My office orders food here since we work right across the street, and I’ll be honest when I say I haven’t tried the entirety of their menu. I’m basing my rating on the one dish I tried twice — the chicken katsu. The chicken was flavorless and rubbery, it’s accompanying sauce was way too salty, and the steamed vegetables tasted like styrofoam. I ate about half of it before I threw the rest away. Usually, I try not to leave a bad review because sometimes you just experience a restaurant on an off day. But both times were awful. I doubt I’d eat here again if I had a choice, even if it were to try something different.

I go the assorted sashimi salad, crispy rice and a few rolls. The Citrus Salmon, Pink Lady, and the cucumber wrap, all fresh & delicious :) Service was super friendly and for lunch next time ill try a Bento box.

Food is good but there was a dark black hair friend INTO my egg roll. Most disgusting vile thing ever. It’s seriously bullshit that restaurants don’t use hair nets. Wear a fucking hair net it takes two seconds to put on.

I love this place… I have been coming here for 9 years!!! They treat you like family. If I am craving sushi I will make the drive from downtown just to eat at Miyako. Everything is delicious! Even when on a diet I was able to get something… Right now my favorite roll is the pink lady, it is a rice less roll. It is delicious!!! And my forever favorite is the jalapeño bomb!!! My son loves the Chicken teriyaki Bento. During cold weather a nice udon soup will do! If you don’t know what to get, they will gladly help you to make a great selection! Best place ever!!!

I ordered the basic spicy tuna roll which was fine. But I also did the sumo salad which was horrible. Hard, undressed cabbage shavings. This needed to have some sort of dressing to soften the cabbage and make it more edible. DONOTGETTHE Sumi salad.

If you want good sushi sometimes you gotta go to different places. I have been too a lot of sushi spots including Nobu. Miyako does a great job with his preparation of his sushi. It is a small spot next to roscoes but it packs a good punch with lots of flavor. I went there to get a small sashimi to go and they were really nice and included a free miso soup for me. The red snapper mackerel and salmon were on point. Pretty basic but sometimes it is perfection of preparing basic things that makes all the difference and leaves an impression. Ambiance is nice Parking is sort of difficult since it is next to roscoes. But it is definitely a place that you should check out My second time I went and got the King Kong roll the butter flush delight and western Hollywood roll with a friend. It was a good combination and it filled me up sufficiently. I enjoyed the butterfish I have not had that before and it was very smoothl. You can ask for light cream cheese and it makes the other two rolls less heavy for those worried about calories not that I care honestly

Wow! The rolls here r so tasty and the service is great too! Miyako is my favorite spot for Japanese cuisine. I’ve had many different things on their menu and each dish has been delicious! If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the Pink Lady Roll. Yummm!!! 5 stars for Miyako!

Awesome prices! My boyfriend and I order delivery here at 1 – 2 times a week and it’s usually always good service. I get the chicken teriyaki bento box, it’s around $ 11 and you get chicken, salad, California roll, ride and a miso soup… definitely a good deal. The actual restaurant is nice, nothing fancy or overly impressive, just a small quite little joint next to roscoes. They have parking just not much so beware of the over crowded parking lot…(they did add valet) I highly recommend if you want a nice portion for a very reasonable price.

A convenient spot in Hollywood with its own parking lot. I stopped here for lunch and pick up a sushi and tempura bento box combination for just $ 11.50. That means miso soup, 5 pieces tempura including shrimp and onion. 4 pieces Cali roll, 4pieces sushi(shrimp, salmon, mackerel & tuna) The service was quick and efficient and friendly, the fish decent for the price and it all was topped off by a slice of watermelon for desert. What a lovely surprise. Definitely coming back here.
