Pretty cool little place. I went to «Night Mass» which was a free pre-Halloween event with an amazing line up of great house artist. It has a dinky almost hole-in-the wall quality to it but it’s also what makes it great. You can get up close and personal with the djs/whoever is on the stage, They have plentyyyy of sitting available, bartenders were nice, bouncers/security were nice, bathrooms had toilet paper(hey! That’s a big plus) and the patio was nice and open with yet another little sitting area. Oh and the disco balls. Let not forget the disco balls.

Let’s face it the club scene in LA is not what you would want to leave in the city for. I mean, being shut down from drinking at 2am makes starting going out at 7pm if you realy want to put yourself in a clubbing mood. One thing leading to the next, the annoying systematical guest list is just too much. I know that LA rules the scene when it comes to guest lists, but common, this is not the Oscars… I am saying this even if I was on the guest list, I just find the welcoming too dramatical!!! The music all 70′ on that night reminded me of the LA of the 90’s when I used to leave there. Music in LA mostly sticked to either 70’s or HipHop mostly, and that’s alright as the 70’s vibe suites the crowd and the overall vibe perfectly.

Giorgio’s on Saturdays are good times, if you like disco and dancing.

Years ago, the Purple Lounge in this location was the most fun you could have on a Saturday Night. What happened? The remodel is nice(layout is poor) and it’s a great location so WHYISITALWAYSEMPTY? Seriously, get some type of promoter and get this place back in order. It’s has all the ingredients to be great so I don’t get it. It’s depressing to walk in these days. Invite some people. Make it happen already. Could be so great.

Came here a few months ago for a friend-of-a-friend’s event. Enter The Standard and you’ll be directed through the kitchen into a secret room which is Mmhmmm. It’s dark and ambient, has a stage in the center where different bands come and play, a full bar in the back, and several couches on the side for you to sit on and enjoy your drinks. We had bottle service instead of drinks from the bar… both of which were covered! I don’t think I’d ever come here again unless there was an event as there’s far too many places nearby that offer everything Mmhmmm does plus a better crowd.
