The food is disgusting. I bought the Beef Teriyaki and the meat was impossible to chew on. I have had lots of Korean food before so I know how it should taste like. Worst Korean BBQ in the world.

Expensive, dirty, and the food lacks flavor. I went with a friend of mine, and there was a cockroach leg in his galbi tang. The waitress offered to make another bowl for free, but we declined and left. Never again.

Meet the owner and the food was good in that area. Willing to go back and try other stuff and kimchi fried rice was good. wished it was cheaper… Kinda of expensive but fair.

There’s a shortage of Korean restaurants for lunch in this area so I’d consider Momo’s a solid option. The portion is generous and food is good overall. We usually get takeout here and have no issues whatsoever. They also give out decent banchan side dishes when you dine in. Perhaps they’re partial when I show up with my Korean coworkers. Parking can be a pain as the lot is tiny and offers very limited spots.

Well, I’ve added Momo to my regular lunch rotation. For the past month or so, the meat in the galbi tang has been really hit or miss — the kitchen has left huge chunks of fat on the cut. I actually like a little bit of fat for the flavor, but when it starts approaching a 50⁄50 meat to fat ratio, that’s just too much. Still, the menu is pretty extensive! They have soondubu(spicy tofu stew), kalguksoo(torn noodle soup studded with manila clams), and soondae(!)(korean head cheese sausage stew), And the kimchi is good. They’ll sell you a gallon jar of it for $ 20. That’s pricier than at the supermarket but the bump in quality is worth it… if you can use a gallon of kimchi.

I was trying preorder so made a call. Lady picked up phone so I asked «Can I pre-order a food so I can start right away when I get there?» Then she said, «People are not coming on time. So it DRIVESMECRAZY. So just come and order.» What the fxxx? Is this the way they treat their customers??? I work at a building that takes get there less then a minute. And of course, is not that I’m not gonna pay for my meal…;; They don’t deserve to get customer!!! So shameful that they are Korean restaurant… I don’t even post the reviews usually, but she pissed me off so bad, I had to let them know how awful their behavior was…

The food was HORRIBLE! Food was dry and had no flavor. I think if I gave the food to a dog it would attack me.

This is the only Korean restaurant near my work. It’s not the best Korean food I had. They have a very short menu, so there aren’t much to order from. Their sides dishes are pretty good but very small portion. The soup stew was good; strong flavor. Service was a bit slow, so make sure you call in advance if you’re ordering take out. I’ll come back to try the BBQ ribs next time.

Service was kinda slow due to the fact there is only one lady working the tables. Food was good, I had soft tofu stew. Like it. Side dishes were also good. Will come back again to try other dishes.

CASHONLY. the food photos pasted all over the wall look sooo appetizing. their kimchi stew is pretty good. they can also do a vegetarian options without the pork meat. the kimchi fried rice tastes very buttery, and greasy. i love how they put an egg on top. i wished that they used leftover hard rice rather than mushy rice. i thought the consistency of the rice was a tad too mushy. the portion was big. the service is nice and friendly. the food took a while to come out. it seemed like they were making each dish one by one. they also gave us free baked sweet potato which was nice. and refreshing watermelon for dessert. it’s good for the area it’s in. 901

MoMo Korean BBQ is now under new management, but the menu has essentially stayed the same. The food is great and they have daily specials that are cheap and very tasty. I especially like the Tuesday special of beef rib soup! Yummy! The side dishes are good and the kimchi is delicious! I especially like the BBQ chicken and Soon Tofu Chigae. A lot of the dishes are spicy, which is my favorite type of food. The prices are reasonable, especially for the amount of food you get. If you eat at the restaurant, you can get free refills on rice and side dishes. You can also get food delivered with a minimum of $ 20 purchase or you can call in your order and pick it up to go. It’s the only Korean restaurant in the area so if you’re tired of eating the same burger/fries, it’s a great change. It’s cash only, so keep that in mind before trying the place out. It’s definitely worth trying out if you haven’t done so already. They have some authentic Korean dishes.

If you work in the Vernon/Huntington Park area, this is the only authentic Korean restaurant you will find nearby. The food is good and pricing reasonable. They also deliver! I just finished the fish roe soup. Not the best in town but still very tasty. The side dishes typical of Korean restaurants come with the meals. These dishes alone are a meal with the rice. these sides are really good and surprising from a little place outside Koreatown.

When you work in Vernon, your lunch options are limited. Mo Mo’s isn’t the best Korean joint out there by any means, but when you’re sick of the usual sandwich and salad places, it does the job. The food was authentic, although a tad on the bland side, but the portions were large and each order came with white rice(even the kimchee fried rice) and it’s own tray of banchan. Random tips: 1. If you’re placing an order over the phone, it would be in your best interest to have a spanish speaking person with you. 2. Cash only. 3. The prices on are not accurate, they upped the price a bit.

The food was pretty tasty even though it didn’t look anything like the picture. I ordered a short rib dried cabbage soup and in the picture, the soup had tons of vegetable and red in color. when I received my order, it was clear soup, with a few short ribs, glass noodles, and that was it. my friend ordered kim chi soup, and that looked like the picture. walked outside and saw these delicious pictures of bbq beef and soup, but they didnt serve any of that in the restaurant. so false advertising, poor parking and decent food. its your only choice for korean food in vernon. parking was a little better, but to be safe, just park across the street and walk over because the streets in vernon are pretty congested, so U turns are a bit tough to make.
