Takashi’s a sweet and chill dude with a really warm and welcoming shop. Easy to trust. His style and technique is unique and worth appreciating. Got two tattoos done by him and I love love love both of them. I’d definitely recommend him to others and will be going back to get a 3^rd tattoo sometime soon.

This is a top notch place. Taka was kind of enough to give me two different style of kanji for my last name that I wanted done, they were both DOPE as all hell. I will definitely be back when I save enough money to get a half sleeve done. I would highly recommend Mozuya Tattoo and Taka to all my friends who are looking for ink done.

Taka is the coolest dude around. I sent him a few photos of what I wanted done to my right arm. I was going for a half sleeve Japanese traditional foo dog tattoo. He thought the idea was cool and we set up a appointment for the following week. His studio makes you feel as if you were in Japan, very cool and very clean. He then showed me a sketch of what he had drawn for me and it exceeded my expectations.
The details were amazing and everything just flowed nicely. When I saw other artwork in his studio I knew I was in good hands. Taka is a pro at his craft period. My tattoo took about 4, 3hr sessions to complete and each session was awesome. Overall I am very pleased with my tattoo experience. I will definitely be coming back to Taka for future tattoos. Where do I begin with how great my experience was?
First off Taka is the most easy to talk to and sweetest man around. I sent an email that explained exactly what I was looking for and the next day I had a reply listing times I could come in for a free consultation.
The first meeting was excellent. Taka was super attentive to what I was looking for and verified everything I was requesting. We set a date and I had no concerns about him doing my tattoo.
The next day I received an email showing me various options of what my tattoo could look like. I picked my favorite and voiced some concerns I had about the thickness and Taka was super understanding about it and gave me ideas to contemplate for when we next met.
When work conflicted with the date he was very understanding and gave me a new list of days and times he was available. Once the date was reset, with no fee, we were good to go.
The studio is amazing and gives you so much privacy. The day of my tattoo was phenomenal. The time taken to make sure everything was as I wanted was so unexpected. When it came to the tattooing he was real gentle with it and explained whenever he had to pause or change the needle. He also gave me some ointment to take home which was much appreciated.
My whole experience was amazing and I would without any hesitations or doubt recommend Taka. He will definitely be doing all my future tattoos.

Taka is a cool ass dude. I emailed him about a design and sent him some pics of what i had in mind. We made the appointment scheduled for a few days later and showed up on time. His place is really nice, like, i felt the need to take my shoes off cause it was so clean and neat inside; i warped from an LA apartment complex into an art gallery.
Once he was done showing me around, he showed me into his office where i would get my ink. He had 3 flash designs already prepared and they were way better than i had in mind. I chose the one i liked the most and he prepared his machines. He has this shading machine thats real silent, sounds like an electric shaver thats low on battery. Something i’ve never seen before; really cool. Once we finished he cleaned me up and put on some A/​D ointment and gave me a few packets to bring home and apply during the healing process, in which he explained in great detail.
Overall experience was amazing and would definitely come back to extend the piece. Thank you very much.

I visited this studio to have a consultation with Takashi through my friend’s introduction. He is super nice guy and always willing to help his customer to have the best tattoo experience. I can’t wait for my tattoo session!
The studio is located between Korea Town and LA Downtown, inside of the neat office building. For parking, they have a private lot and plenty of spots on the street right in front of the studio. Nice area to visit even in the night time.

One of the best experiences you will have being tattooed in Los Angeles! Takashi is a masterful tattoo artist and is superb in his craft, added to the at home comfort of the tattoo studio you definitely have yourself a win win! I recomend Takashi to all of my friends and he is my artist for most of my tattoos and I keep going back. From the bold straight lines to the details in shading and strong colors I am very happy with every single tattoo I have gotten from here.
