I’ve been coming to Dr. Ng since I was a little kid. I believe since I was a toddler. If your feeling not well or your nervous about an upcoming check up, his bright smiles always washes away that feeling. He is very attentive and caring. As far as I can tell this is his own private practice and he is the only doctor on staff. The nurses may seem serious and cold but they’re cool anyway and don’t let that make you feel any worse. There have been times that waiting is a bit of a bother for non appointmentés, but if you have an appointment they’ll see you within 15 minutes. Doctors like Dr. Ng is the reason why I would choose my healthcare plan based that he could be my doctor. When I was 17 I was diagnosed with appendicitis. No X-Ray was done but he heard what my symptoms were and used his hands to diagnosed what I had. He told my parents that I have appendicitis and told us to go the hospital. We were turned away because they thought I had constipation and my doctor was obviously confused. 1 – 2 weeks later I came back, he was shocked. I explained, he than wrote a personal note to the hospital advising them to admit me. On the 2nd try they didn’t want to accept me but because of my parents and doctor’s insistence, the hospital accepted. A day later, through three different test they couldn’t find it till surgery. From what I was told by the hospital doctors they were deeply impressed with my family doctor. So that is one of the many reasons why I keep coming back. I have no idea who else I would go to. From my understanding Dr. Ng idol is a famous doctor In Chinatown’s early history who passed away at 90 still doing what he loved, being a doctor. I can’t think of the name but I’ll update you all when I remember.
