I called because my Maytag dryer was broken, and they sent someone out that afternoon. Alex was great. He had my dryer apart so fast, had the right parts on hand, and got the whole thing fixed in about an hour. The price was very reasonable. Also, I appreciated that he checked over several other parts of my dryer and said they were fine, no need to replace them. I appreciated that I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of. He fixed what needed to be fixed only (and showed me the problem and why it was a problem). The repair came with a 90 day warranty. I would highly recommend them!

I called North Hollywood Appliance Repair and they sent Mark over the same day to help fix my frigidaire freezer. He was more then helpful with the problem and gave great service. I would highly recommend them for any of your repair needs.

Alex came out promptly and repaired my ten year old Maytag dryer. He went right to the source of the problem, had the proper parts to fix the valves and did not charge me an arm and a leg to do so. He also offered to clean out an inside area not easily accessible that was full of sand and lint. This repair call saved me hundreds of dollars from another person who told me that my dryer was ten years old and that I would need a new one. Well, not so! My dryer has been working perfectly since Alex was here this morning. North Hollywood Appliance Repair also fixes washers, refrigerators, ovens, stoves, microwaves, etc. I will call again if I need something else repaired! Thank you, Alex.

Alex was quick to respond to my call, honest in his estimate, and professional in his service. This is a pretty straightforward review, but highly recommended.

I called for service and as soon as the employee picked up he said can i put you on hold. I then waited almost 10 minutes. he then came back on the phone and I scheduled an appointment. He told me they would be at my house by 10am on Tuesday. I have been waiting the whole day and took time off work for this appointment. it is now almost 1pm on Tuesday and they are not here so I called North Hollywood Appliance Repair up. i was told that a mistake was made and they would com back out by Friday. The worse service I have dealt with and no respect for their customers.

They need to work on their customer service. Had an appointment and I didn’t hear the phone ring. Called back in 5 minutes and the service tech said I was too late and needed to call back and make another appointment for my fridge to get repaired. This after waiting for a 4 hour window of time. All the food in my fridge was spoiled because he could not wait 5 minutes or try calling me back again. Others have had a good experience but I would not use them again.

Alex was the man who came to repair my refrigerator. Very professional.
Good service. Gave me a discount after he accidentally damaged the floor. Things happen.
I will call them again if I need them.
Customer service is very important.

I had my dishwasher fixed and it was really expensive. After the gentleman fixed my dishwasher, I asked for my receipt and he gave me a long story of why he couldn’t give me a receipt. I called the company thereafter to get the receipt and still no luck. I finally called today (a little over a week later) to get my receipt and am still waiting. The gentleman that came out to the house was also not too friendly.

Was very pleased with my experience using North Hollywood Appliance Repair.
Alex the technician showed up earlier than expected for the 3 hour window, and went right to work dissecting my washer that had flooded my laundry room. I was very impressed that he went right to the source of the problem and fixed the washer.
He also gave me a tip or two about how to make sure the problem, hopefully, doesn’t occur in the future. Very prompt, professional and the price was reasonable. I will use their services again if any other appliance needs work. Thanks again Alex!

I had an issue with my dryer, and Dennis helped me fix my problem right away. He knew what the problem was, and what it took to fix the dryer. He quoted me $ 145, but ended up charging me only $ 85. The most important factor of it all, it was taken care of the same day. NO COMPLAINTS HERE!

I had a washing machine problem and this was th closest place that popped up. I made an appointment for the same day. Their guy came to check out my washer and were able to fix it on the spot. A couple of test and an hour later, I had a washer again. Thanks

I have absolutely zero complaints. The service I received from Alex was absolutely stellar. My hot point fridge went out while my mother was visiting from the wintery north for the winter and all the food we had purchased for her to cook for me was going bad. I mean really I look forward to the snow up north only for 1 reason because my mom comes to sunny California and stays until the snow melts and spends all her time cooking for her loving (spoiled) son, and I mean all the good stuff like stuffed green peppers, meatloaf, country fried chicken. This was a serious dilemma I really was not looking forward to take out while I was anticipating the new purchase of a fridge and along with that would mean having to hire someone to remove the old one. This could mean days of not being able to exploit my 73 year old mother !! I m paying all the bills taking her to all her dr appointments using valuable time and now with absolutly no pay off at all !!! I was already considering calling my sisters to arrange the required transportation back to Washington state as the return on investment was not sounding like it was about to fall out from under the entire situation. But these guys were called at 9:00 AM and there by 11:30 AM and the fridge was like new by noon. So now all I have to do is put together a new shopping list and I’m off the the grocery store for raw materials so my mom can continue on her quest to create more culinary delights for her appreciative son to eat while watching the season premier of the walking dead tonight. My dryer stopped heating unexpectedly and I panicked! I am preparing for a birthday party and have laundry backed up for days. I researched to find a reliable, trustworthy technician both on-​line and through word of mouth. I found NoHo appliance repair on Unilocal and was happy with the reviews. My call was answered promptly and I was able to have an amazing technician, Alex, come to my home the same day! Alex was professional and experienced. The real blessing was the drying was a safety hazard and could have caused a fire. Alex was able to replace the broken parts and the dryer was in working order the same day.
In summary I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company.

We needed someone to repair an oven so I found North Hollywood Appliance Repair. Alex, the serviceman that came out to our house was there on time and the job was completed the same day. Efficient and knowledgeable, he was even able to repair the thermostat to our heater on the same service call.
I highly recommend this company as they responded the same day I called them and completed the work in a short time. Their prices are fair and their service was excellent.

I called this company 7x and each time they answered the phone they would hang up with out saying a word. This owner needs to hire better people to work for him. I DO NOT recommend this company.

Unilocal worked again for me on this search. Because of the previous postings for this company, I called and asked for Alex. Like the others before me, Alex was great. He fixed the refrigerator early today. I had called for service late yesterday. timing excellent.
I don’t live on the property. He called me and kept me updated to every aspect of the repair including the final billing.
I’m happy to use this company and Alex (for sure) as my go to company for appliance repair for refrigerators, dishwashers, washers and dryers.
I don’t know what else they fix. But having a one call that fixes the basic appliances is great for me and my renters. We’re all happy and need to stay that way. N H Appliance Repair, you did good.
