Thanks A-​Steve and A-​Josh! You’re the greatest! They were a pleasure to be around. Their prices are reasonable and they make you feel at ease. It was my first tattoo and they were very patience with me. Although they do take card, their machine was malfunctioning while I was there and I didn’t have any cash. They were nice enough to trust me and my friend to walk to the ⁷⁄₁₁ down the street and grab some cash from the atm. I called them 10 minutes before they closed to see if it was cool to do a last minute walk-​in. I ended up staying an hour later, and I can’t thank them enough for staying open for me.
I cannot emphasize enough how friendly these people were. They made jokes that made me feel very comfortable and they made me feel like I was welcomed there (despite my friend ripping art off the wall). They were patient with my inexperience (even explaining the harvesting and use of monkey jizz lol), like forgetting to ask for the price before getting the tattoo done, and I’m super grateful for not taking advantage of me.
As far as the tattoo goes, the design was very simple. Despite the size and simplicity, I’m super happy with how the tattoo came out. He was very quick and I only felt minimal discomfort. Everyone in the shop helped keep the nerves from getting to me, in fact they kept me calm the whole time, from the time I stepped foot into the store to when I left.
Thank you again for the awesome first experience. I will definitely becoming back for more. Hopefully your shop will be decked out with all the amazing art (that isn’t hung crooked ^^) you drew the next time I come for a visit! Can’t wait until my next face tattoo ahahaha!

Awesome shop cool vibes Steve is really down to earth and listens to what you have in mind what I liked was that he gives his on input on what might make the tattoo better.
I went in there to basically have him come up with a cool design for my first tat based on what I already had in mind. Came back 3 days later and got the work done, I honestly have to say it came out way better than what I had expected made it one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. definitely coming back for more work and recommend anybody to hit up Steve’s shop

I was at work one day and decided «hey, I’m in the mood for a tattoo today.» I went on Unilocal and found this place. It was super convenient because it was literally around the corner from my house. I walked in was greeted by a husband and wife (I can’t remember their names sorry :/​). They were super friendly and the place had really cool art inside. I was getting a small tattoo on my wrist. It was quick and painless! Probably the least painful tattoo I’ve ever had. I will definitely be back for my next tattoo.

Steve is such a down to earth dude and supper knowledgeable about what he does! Every Time I go I get treated like family! The location is ideal, the price is right and his work is mind blowing! Steve is the most kind hearted person I’ve met, sometimes I stop by to just catch up and talk about life, Steve is also my therapist as well as my tattoo artist haha shoot him your ideas and you won’t leave unhappy!

My sister and I had been yearning, just forever yearning for sister tattoos for years. We decided that we needed to put our foot where our mouth was. On my sister’s visit to LA, we would do it, and fate would lead us to Off Broadway, so conveniently near Grand Central Market. Literally like steps away. You know when you step into a place you get a feel for it. Off Broadway Tattoo Studio has the perfect combination of like chill, artsy, sporty with that DTLA edge, Especially with awesome peeps like Steve and Angela, it’s a place where you would come to just like crack open a cold’un and chill out.
Steve…this guy, is like, a tattoo angel. We felt so bad because he had already worked on a client without breaks before our appointment. Even though closing time had passed, he tatted both my sister and I. He just makes everyone feel really comfortable and is just straight up a really kind-​hearted. Angela (his boo) told us all about their love story, which is beautiful. They even gave us a ride home after. We were just blown away by how kind they both were.
Now for the tattoos Just let the pictures speak for themselves. Steve does freehand and also works off references if you bring pictures. Mine was a little… impromptu, and even through my indecisiveness, Steve created something that I absolutely love. The process was pretty painful but like a lot of reviewers said, the conversation really distracted from the pain. And hey, no pain, no gain.
The price was SO reasonable. We both are planning our 2^nd tattoos with Steve. Lastly, we also got from OG Remedies cream and charcoal soap (
) for the healing process at the studio, which worked FANTASTICALLY. Our tattoos were chilling after a couple days. I would definitely recommend to anyone remotely considering a tattoo. This was my sister and my first tattoos and we were both so happy with our whole experience.

Came to Steve to fix a bad cover up… Let’s just say he’s amazing, the shop has a good vibe, he listens to what you want and gives you his professional opinion and I was so happy when he showed me how the tattoo was coming along. His prices are not expensive especially for the quality of his tattoos. He goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy with his work and he’s also easy to talk to. Cracks jokes during the painful spots to try and take your mind off it. All of his equipment is state of the art and the shop is very clean. I have already recommend him to friends, family, and strangers when they ask where I got my tattoo done. It’s true what they say once you get one you become addicted and I will definitely be back for more tattoos. He is officially my tattooist…

This place is amazing not only Steve took the time to listen to the story behind my tatoo and create it from scratch. After being disappointed on many places Steve welcoming environment and art skills are key to your satisfaction. I most definitely will recommend anyone that has been disappointed or first timers definitely the place to be.

Steve helped me with a small script tattoo around my wrist. On the technical and creative front he is exceptional and his work fits within my narrow taste so i am more than happy with the job. Beyond this, i am very fortunate to have walked into his shop. The hospitality and character of the people in this place is amazing. Im a little bit of a hippie and energy and experience is important to me. I highly recommend this shop and i have no doubt you will have a memorable experience here.

Had an awesome experience at Off Broadway today! A friend and I were walk-​ins and Thiago was able to fit us in right away. Everyone at the shop is super friendly and the shop as a whole is very inviting — it’s bright, and there’s a pool table and Xbox set up to keep you entertained while you wait, overall it has a great, chill vibe. It’s definitely not an intimidating shop like some can be. I’m very pleased with my tattoo and would definitely go back.

Off Broadway Tattoo is a great shop! The owner Steve is a great guy and one helluva awesome artist. He’s happy to answer a barrage of stupid questions from a newbie (like me) and his prices are very fair. Best of all, he’s a true artist and more than willing to work with you to get the piece you want. Highly recommended.

This place is great! Went in to get something to commemorate the passing of a friend. Not only was Steve incredibly sensitive to the situation, he was very thorough in making sure we got exactly what we wanted. I would definitely recommend him.

I highly recommend Steve! I first met Steve in 2013 when he Tattooed my forearm and he did an awesome job. Of course once you get started you cant stop so here i am a little over a year later and he out does himself on my dispersing Phoenix. So hands down he is the best at what he does!

Started getting tattooed by Steve in September 2014. I automatically feel in love with his style. Very clean, very meticulous and always gives you what you want, with a bit of his input. I’ve been so happy with the way my side came out I’ve recommended everyone one I know! Both artist at Off Broadway have amazing talent, attention to detail and always deliver!
