Excellent and welcoming staff. Office conveniently located in UCLA area. Was my first time ever using a temp agency and they worked with me to sift through opportunities that I would be interested in. I said no, more than I said yes, in terms of the gigs that were offered, but that didn’t affect my standing with them. They kept plugging away until they found something that fit. Samantha Kozak, was my contact at this particular location, and she is extremely attentive to what it is your looking for opportunity wise. She and the whole staff their rock!

The Westwood branch includes a phenomenal team, all of whom are highly professional, approachable and responsive. My questions/​concerns/​inquiries are always met with prompt and cerebral advice. Highest regard for their work ethic. They have been responsive, intuitive, proactive and consistent. Glad to have them at the forefront of my job search seeking the best roles in the best companies on my behalf. I moved to the West LA area and had been looking for a full-​time job for several months. Feeling discouraged, I finally decided to use a recruiting agency and I am so happy I did! All of the staff that I spoke with at OfficeTeam were always very professional, helpful and genuine in wanting to find the perfect fit for me. I was very impressed with how frequently they called me with potential positions and how they took into consideration what I was looking for. It was only a matter of weeks before Stephanie at the Westwood office set me up with a promising interview and then only a matter of days after that, I got the job! I am so happy with the position I accepted (it was even direct hire!), and truly feel I may not have considered without the help of Stephanie and OfficeTeam. I hope this review helps anyone who has administrative experience and is looking for help finding employment.

Office team is such an amazing temp agency. I’ve worked with other temp agencies before and although the others were great, this was by far my best experience. Immediately after submitting my application online I received a call from Office Team. After interviewing with Jackson I received back to back calls for temp-​to-​hire positions. After only 1 week of working with Office Team, I was extended a temp-​to-​hire position. I’ve been with the company for only 1 month and have already received a job offer for a full-​time position. I’m sad to leave office team but excited to be a full-​time employee with MEC. Sending a huge THANK YOU to Sheena and Jackson for their outstanding work. These two always remained professional and friendly and made sure to always check in on me. I would recommend Office Team to anyone who is seeking a career change. I will say that I actually did get placed for employment by this agency, so they have that going for them. They do actually place people. However, I was led to believe that my assignment was temp to hire. After a few months of my assignment, I officially inquired about being hired on permanently. Oddly enough I was scolded by being called on my vacation and told not to discuss such things with other employees. I was also told that the company wasn’t looking to hire anyone, so I quit. Now that I’m no longer an employee it’s impossible to get an email returned. I did have a bit of back and forth over my last paycheck due to my leaving early on my last day. Besides that my reputation was stellar. It’s somewhat of a comfort to know I’m not a unique case after reading other reviews.

Don’t have enough good things to say about Office Team. After my 1^st very stressful and low paid job, I contacted them to see if they had any other opportunities available. They gave me the job I have now which I am obsessed with, has almost double my 1^st job’s salary, and I just became full time after 2 months! I’ve been recommending them left & right. I can’t believe how easy they made the job process seem, especially after months of struggling on my own as a recent grad.

Leaves a bad taste in my mouth. They used to call me often, only got sent on 1 interview and nothing afterwards. I have a strong resume, NO employment gaps, and did very well in their testing.
But then I read all these reviews of people getting placed quickly, couldn’t find a job but now all of the sudden have luck, etc. I’m sorry, I can’t connect with other people’s positive experiences.
I’ll update this if something changes, but for now, they’re like any typical staffing agencies in LA.

After a disappointing start last Fall (yep, months go by), glad I finally grilled my replacement rep on why no positions were coming my way, finally she said they only did «temp» not permanent placement (despite contradictory statement upon signing) and the one job in now some 6 – 8 months was an office mgr. requiring bookkeeping functions offering $ 20/​hour (which is high for them). She then revealed they had already placed several people in that position all week long (not her fault the employer is demanding; however shows the quality of their employers). You won’t get a straight answer or deal from this team.

Love working with OfficeTeam, especially Michelle, Emily, and Lindsey! They found me a job really soon after getting into the system in exactly what I wanted to be doing. I’m at a second job with them now at such a cool company and I really appreciate all their help and kindness! Definitely recommend it!

I was very reluctant to work with a recruiting agency, especially in the admin sector, but I figured trying to gain experience in any way was better than nothing. The process was very streamline. I corresponded with one of the managers, Emily, and was brought in for an in-​person interview to discuss my qualifications and what I was looking for specifically in the long-​term. She and her team would basically reach out if there were any relevant positions available.
Soon enough, I was receiving emails and phone calls from the team regarding multiple positions. During my time working with them, I did not get a chance to go through with any specific positions due to either time constraints or not feeling like I would be the right fit. I recently received and accepted a full-​time job from a company outside of OfficeTeam, but it was an absolute pleasure working with them! They were always very informative, polite, and I never once felt pressured to take an assignment that I did not show interest in. I’d recommend this agency for anyone having difficulty finding work and wanting to gain experience in the admin world.

This place is hit or miss. I used to think they had high caliber roles, but after my experience and speaking with others, the rates are really bad. If you expect anything over $ 20 an hour here, forget it! You will really get low balled! I understand that others are also looking for jobs, but its just pointless to check in available when they forget you 5 minutes later. I think they really need to branch out for high caliber clients, for experienced $ 26+ an hour roles!

I have been a client of Office Team for about a year now and it has been a supportive, well-​managed experience. Office Team understands client value and professionalism and they are very much invested in quality staffing, user feedback and customer satisfaction. I moved back to Los Angeles, contacted Office Team and was hired within a week. You can’t pay for that kind of turn around. As an experienced professional, I’ve always been able to negotiate a commensurate rate and position. The Westwood team is doing a great job.

I was hesitant to use a placement agency when I started looking for a new job last year as I had only heard negative things about the industry in general. My positive experience with Office Team has forever changed my perception. I applied for a job I found on craigslist and it turned out that posting had been placed by Office Team. Within a week I had a job interview with Sheena. She was attentive, professional and highly focused on finding the best fit. Soon after I had a job interview with the employer and not long after I had a job offer. It has now been six months and I’m still very happy with my new job and the overall experience. Throughout the entire process Sheena and her team were responsive, supportive and professional. This place was NOTHING but a WASTE OF TIME! Very unorganized system! I wont name any names but there were people who worked there who would call me and say they have an interview for me and not tell me the location/​time or answer my call. If you are a job seeker, save yourself time and GO somewhere else!

I moved to LA a couple months ago. For a little over a month, I applied to numerous entry-​level positions through different job boards online, and had a hard time getting any calls for interviews. I finally came across OfficeTeam and decided to give the whole staffing agency thing a shot. They had many openings available at various companies, and were very mindful of my preferences (i.e., salary, job type, length of assignment, location, etc). They were extremely supportive and attentive throughout the entire process. Within 4 weeks of living here I had a temp-​to-​perm assignment through OfficeTeam. Within 1 month of working the assignment I became a permanent employee. All-​in-​all, my experience with OfficeTeam and their staff has been beyond fantastic and positive. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for employment.

I’m on the fence about this agency. I’ve heard all of the horrible things correlated with staffing agencies, but decided to give them a chance anyway. Sadly, most of what I heard turned out to be true. They hardly ever contacted me and when they did, the compensation was unacceptable (ie. very low). I didn’t feel appreciated by my Recruiter and she was not very helpful.

I can’t say enough positive things about the staff here at OfficeTeam in Westwood. I moved out to Los Angeles with nothing lined up — other than a place to live. After a month of applying for jobs on my own, with little to no luck, I gave OfficeTeam a call. Now, I was registered with OfficeTeam back in Florida — so I knew the drill. After a few calls, I scheduled a time to come in and meet the team. I met with Sheena and her group. We talked about my goals, background, what kind of work I was looking for, environment and our love of Disney. I pretty much walked into the meeting unemployed and walked out with a great assignment offer. Sadly, I only was able to work at the assignment for a few weeks as I found a job that is more in my field. But, when I told them, they were nothing but excited and supportive for my new opportunity!
Now, I can’t speak for everyone, but there is nothing negative I have to say about the staff here. They are open to communication and always quick to return calls/​e-​mails. If you are a hard working professional, they will work equally as hard to place you. Robert Half and OfficeTeam are highly respected nationally, so, the clients they work with expect the best. Come to the interview on your A-​game, ready to work and they will return the favor!
If I ever find myself needing help on my job search again, I have the OfficeTeam Westwood number on speed dial. Thank you to Sheena, Kim, Gloria and all the ladies/​gentlemen here! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.
