History

Established in 1993.

On The Top Hair Designs has been in business for 20yrs. We are Culver City adjacent and within two blocks of Expo Line. Metro 105 and 705 Bus stop is within 100ft of front of salon. Over the last year, we have completed a full remodel that converted the Salon into a Salon/​Barbershop. We added a bathroom in the Salon and we added a door that separates the Barbershop from Salon.

Leonard is the man. I came in with no appointment at 8:15 AM and he was already there willing and ready to work. It’s not a barbershop without good conversation and good vibes, and this one is no exception; Leonard was always kind and respectful in all circumstances. Of course most important the cut was on point and exactly what I asked for. If you are looking for a spot that is reliable and professional, look no further that On The Top.

Shandra is my regular hair stylist but I have had my hair done by all the ladies & they do an outstanding job !! You can also get your eyebrows done by Diedre or Rhonda. Shandra has been doing my hair for more than half my life and I am always pleased ! Not only does she do excellent hair but she also focuses on hair care & improving your hair, whether it be the volume, texture or dandruff!

The absolute place to go if you want your hair to be in tip top condition! I’ve been going to Shandra since she first got started right after high school, and she is one of the few stylists that cares more about your hair than making money! I hate that I moved to Atlanta, but EVERY time I go back home, I’m sitting in her chair. She always knows EXACTLY what my hair needs, and I represent her well once I leave the shop. Hands down, this girl is on fire!

This shop is a great place to come for a haircut, Lenard the barber is a excellent artist and provides a great facility for people to come and get a hair cut. I have been a customer of Leonard’s for over a year and a half and have never received anything less than top notch service. I am a busy professional and don’t always have time to chill at the barber shop, so it’s nice to be able to get an appointment before or after work.
