I am a private chef working in and around the greater Los Angeles area. I create seasonal dynamic menus utilizing only the freshest ingredients. I can customize any menu to make your event feel one of a kind. I specialize in italian food, especially hand crafted artisinal pasta dishes. I also specialize in middle easter cuisine. I can cook for groups of all sizes and can work with any dietary restriction. I offer a fresh and new catering experience, bringing the restaurant experience to the comfort of your home.

History

Established in 2012.

I have been cooking for as long as I can remember and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in Los Angeles in 2009. Since then, I’ve worked under some of LA’s top chefs, including Wolfgang Puck at Spago in Beverly Hills and Chef Micah Wexler at Mezze in Los Angeles. In 2012, I founded LA Flavor Catering and have catered dinners, events and parties, including A-​list celebrity events. Earlier this year I opened LA Flavor Pop Ups and have been hosting intimate pop-​up dinners and supper clubs.

My love for food has been shaped by my Moroccan heritage and large family meals. My culinary journey began when I spent summers in Israel as a child, watching my aunts cook authentic dishes for my huge extended family. They taught me the importance of creating things from scratch and infusing love, passion and intention into the food I’m making. Their use of bold, middle-​Eastern flavors and colorful spices is still one of my biggest inspirations.

My cooking style also incorporates philosophies found in Israeli cuisine– using only fresh, seasonal ingredients, incorporating vibrant colors and layering complex flavors into each dish.

For me, the perfect meal is all about feeling a strong, personal connection to the food, ingredients and atmosphere. I strive to create a culinary experience where these types of connections are driving the menu. I love to build diverse menus that highlight rich, authentic Middle-​Eastern flavors while incorporating modern techniques and plating styles.
