All I can say is Dr Samimi is a miracle worker…
I had been to several pain management doctors and none of them were able to alleviate my ongoing mid back and shoulder pain caused by 2 separate major car accidents within 1 month. Basically, after months of treatment my chiropractor and orthopedic told me there was nothing more they could do and my only other option would be surgery. I was devastated.
Then one of my friends referred me to Dr. Samimi at the Pain and Healing Institute. I was dealing with pain everyday and had nothing to lose so I went… And wow. Office, staff, doctors, everything impeccable but most importantly my chronic back, neck and shoulder pain was relieved!
I don’t think anyone can really appreciate living pain free until they have had to deal with chronic pain but if you have then you know how incredibly life changing it can be. The best pain management doctor ever. Thank you so, so much Dr. Samimi, I can now live life the way everyone should be able to.

Wow. I was told by my doctor that it was time for me to get an epidural for my C6/​7. I checked a few doctors out and after my doctor (who I trust) confirmed my thoughts I made an appointment with pain and healing.
As you can imagine, fear set in because I had no idea what I was in for. And I HATE needles.
They were very prompt and I waited about five minutes. Dr. Samimi came in to talk to me and the first thing he said was «I am here to answer your questions and we can take as long as you need». Which we did and he relieved all my anxiety and made me fully aware of what we were going to do and how it should help me. His bedside manner is definitely unparalleled.
My next move was to the room where they did the procedure. And then I woke up in recovery a few minutes later. Painless, what else can I say.
In its entirety, it was one of the smoothest procedures I’ve ever had, and now I know if I have to go back that there is nothing to worry about.

Compassion, knowledge, skills, kindness– and then some !
After multiple hospitalizations due to unbearable, uncontrolled pain arising from complications of a rare disease, my surgeon referred me to Dr. Samimi. Dr. Samimi switched everything that Northridge Hospital’s worthless pain med doc had prescribed and he changed my life! While I hate taking drugs of any kind, I am thankful that he found a way to keep me out of the hospital long enough to be transported for treatment of my disease at the top treatment center in California (it’s not near my home, so this was a big deal). I am able to be treated for my disease because Dr. Samimi made it possible. Meanwhile, he balances my meds so I can get out of bed long enough to receive my thrice weekly reatments.
Prescribing pain pills may seem like its not big deal– just up the dose until something works. It’s an art when you have reactions to meds, fillers, etc. Dr S worked through every reaction before writing the first scrip– including my hard to work around allergic reaction to the yellow dye that is used in many meds and not required to be listed on the primary look-​up ingredients. He spent tons of his time and expertise to do this– he never became impatient with this patient– he just kept researching and questioning until he was satisfied that he had the right mix.
My 4 drug combo had one problem drug. No problem. Fixed promptly.
Dr. S and his partner Dr Lalani are awesome! Since their reception area has none of the upscale look we are used to in BH and surrounding areas, your first impression will not be favorable. Get over it. Rent is high in that area and they bill reasonably– you’re not going to pay for artwork and interior decorators.

I was receiving physical therapy for months after getting struck by a car while crossing a street, with no avail. Yes it is a miracle I did not break anything, but I was in constant pain. Call it divine intervention or what have you, but I am so happy that I was referred to Dr. Samimi and Dr. Lalani. From the initial consultation, I knew I was in good hands. They are warm and have great spirits, you can feel their passion for healing in the air. They explained to me precisely the procedure that they were going to do and made me feel totally at ease throughout. I am happy to say that I have been pain-​free since visiting the Pain and Healing Institute. I highly recommend this clinic for pain management for anyone!

I’ve been to a lot of doctors lately and the staff and doctors at the Pain and Healing Institute were fantastic. They asked questions, listened to my answers, explained everything. I felt like a VIP. I highly recommend them.
