I come here often but definitely here for there rosca de reyes its the bomb warm and fluffy.

ALL my life has been Panchos bakery… that’s the only bakery we ever went to and if for whatever reason we ended up elsewhere We always compared the sweet bread mexican bread etc… to Panchos’ I haven’t found a bread like this since!

Walked into this place because it seemed interesting from the outside. Inside, it was a hybrid of convenience store and bakery, with a wall of baked goods. I got this flaky pineapple dessert that the lady recommended and also the bread with sugar and butter – definitely not the ones like i ate before. I did think their sweet breads were okay, and it seems people come here for the freshly baked bolillo.

I really like the conchas and the bollillos at this bakery, it’s always warm and just out of the oven. Come here for the bolillo and go to La Amapola on Compton avenue for the menudo or the traditional carnitas. I grew up with this stuff, my uncle Leo lived up the street from here. We were here all the time. Come for the sweet stuff.
