Papa Cristo’s Catering was born from Papa Cristo’s Greek Grill which is going on 65 years as a family-​run Greek Restaurant. Our catering business specializes in absolutely the best Catering in Los Angeles. Why? Because we only use premium meats (Grass Fed Filet Mignon, milk fed New Zealand Lamb, and All Natural ABF Chicken Breast), fresh produce, and imported Greek Feta and olives just to name a few.

We cook your order just moments before it leaves our restaurant to guarantee that when it arrives to you, it is hot and fresh. From the grill to the car! Not only that, but all our recipes are our family recipes so our food is just like grandma’s cooking put with a professional presentation.

Catering Types:

We specialize in drop off and easy set up caterings. Which means, we will drop off and set up the order right to your meeting room, backyard, or kitchen (etc). All food is served buffet style and will already be in serving trays.

Our hot foods are oven-​ready if you need to keep them warm in your oven or drop them into chaffing dishes.

Our cold items, like Tzatziki, Hummus, and Greek Salad are in serving bowls. All you have to do is remove the lids and enjoy!

We also supply serving utensils and place settings at no charge, just ask!

History

Established in 1990.

Papa Cristo’s Catering was born in 1990 with Chrys Chrys’ (aka Papa Cristo) vision to take the delicious Greek food of his restaurant into meeting rooms, homes, businesses and even weddings. There was such a demand for family-​style buffets, and being that the Greek culture is familiar with sharing-​menus, was a perfect next-​step.

Our Gyro Bar Buffet & Party Menu Special Menus are created with your guests in mind. Each menu is balanced with a protein (of your choice), starch (Roasted Potatoes and/​or Greek Pita), Greek Salad, and vegetarian options to ensure that everyone enjoys!

We can also fully customize your order which is another benefit to ordering from a Family-​owned catering company. You work with us and we work with you to create the best menu for your family, friends, and guests.

I grew up at Papa Cristo’s and starting learning the business at the young age of 6. I’ve watched the business grow from a deli market to a full market, restaurant, and catering company. I enjoy working with my customers in creating the perfect menu for their perfect event. No 2 events are the same just as no 2 customers are the same and that takes a bit of extra care and attention. In the catering business, I’ve had the opportunity to cater everything from the Breeder’s Cup to weddings to corporate lunches.
