Paulee Body Shop

It’s been two months, and still no car. Subpar customer service with unresponsive and unreliable staff… either they’re wrong about when your call will be ready or flat out don’t follow up with you at all. ETA has been pushed back multiple times without notification. What a drag. Hopefully their work is better than their service.

Professional and efficient. I had a great experience with employees (specifically Ish) and the manager Eric accommodated me graciously. If you want your car done right, this is a fine place.

I wish there were more stars to give cause Paulee is the BEST & I would give it a perfect 10! I have been a customer for over 10 years and Alex who is the owner is the greatest and takes such good care of me! I would NEVER take my car anywhere else and I refer everyone to go and see Alex. He is professional, honest and always goes above and beyond and I am soooo Grateful. Paulee has the experience, the quality, the service, the knowledge and the honesty that I value. Even Vanessa who answers calls and sets you up is a sweetheart. Every person I have recommended has been thrilled and has returned. Look no further cause they are the very BEST!!!

This is now the 2^nd time I have had to bring a damaged vehicle to PBS. They really do a great job. The 1^st time they fixed our Benz and it looked like new when it was returned. This most recent accident they did a great job on our Volvo.
There was even a small issue after I picked our car up and I called them up and their manager Eric jumped right in and made sure it was fixed. Hopefully I DO NOT have to return here but if anything happens to any vehicle we own moving forward I would definitely take it to PBS.

This place is a dream compared to every other body shop I’ve ever visited. Their staff is so helpful, and the work is top notch.
Gus in particular was a huge help, and offered advice on keeping my car running and looking its best for years. I really appreciated the extra time he and the rest of the team took to make sure my car was taken care of. Also, I was pleasantly surprised that he asked me to really take a look at the car after it was finished, and report any new nicks, dents, or scratches (of which there were none). He was an absolute hero throughout the whole process, and made a huge difference.
I highly suggest Paulee Body Shop to anyone who wants top notch professionals taking care of their cars.

I love Paulee! I have had two accidents in the past 2 years and they have handled everything extremely professionally and my car looked brand new once I picked it up. I just turned in my car at the end of the lease and the inspector literally said it was «too good to be true,» which is a testament to the quality of work that they put into their repairs.
Gus was polite and friendly, and even took time to explain to me ways I can keep my car looking good for longer. He was friendly and personable and I did not feel like I was getting the run around on anything. The girls in the office are also worth mentioning and they are polite, prompt in returning calls, and extremely professional. I spoke with both Desiree and Vanessa and was very impressed with both of them.
Not only is their work top notch, but their customer care goes above and beyond what you would expect from an auto body shop. Getting in an accident is a very stressful experience and they truly make it as painless as possible. So happy to have found this place near my house. They have a loyal customer for years to come!

I was treated SO well here! I was rear ended and had bumper damage. Everything went so smoothly from start to finish. took less than 2 weeks to get my car back and that was with the thanksgiving holidays. Enterprise rentals does pick up and drop off from down the street.

What a great place to handle your collision problems. Handed my car over to them from the insurance company and they fixed the car like new even gave it a wash and wax plus fixed a couple other scratches I had no extra charge. Great job form them you can’t go wrong. Great customer service also.

The team at Paulee Body Shop ensured that I was taken care of when I brought my BMW in for repairs for my Mercury Insurance claim. Both Gus and Carlos provided me with excellent service. I definitely would recommend this shop to anyone needing repairs on their luxury car.

How the heck did this place receive a 4 star rating? Please do no take your vehicle here for repair. Here is why:
1. THIS BUSINESS IS NOT BBB ACCREDITED!
2. Lure you in with a cheap estimate and a short repair time frame. Once you have relinquished your vehicle, it will cost you money to take it back even though it is sitting there not being worked on. It will take at least an additional 6 weeks on top of the initial verbal promise to get your car back. Chris will tell you that his printer or computer is not working so he could not print or give you a written quote. He will triple the initial verbal estimate citing that they have discovered more damage. This is a B.S.
3. When you finally able to pick up your vehicle, they will tell you that they have a policy not to accept bank checks. They only except cash or cashier checks. You may only charge up $ 1500 on your credit card. They will charge you almost $ 150 fee if it is over $ 1500.
4. Their work is not guaranteed.
I am really sorry that I took my vehicle here. I am paying the ultimate price. Learn from me please. STAY AWAY FROM PAULEE BODY SHOP!

Paulee is always the best! I have been going to this shop for years and I am never let down. I just took my BMW in after an accident with significant damage. The team of Gus, Carlos, and Ish provided superior service and the quality of work is «perfect.» My car is basically brand new! They use the best quality materials and parts. I cannot say enough positive things about the honesty and communication of the team there. Take your car to Paulee!

I was really distraught after my accident, and after I visited the shop, I felt a huge sense of relief. Every single employee there made me feel comfortable and taken care of.
They’re also really generous! I didn’t have my license plates on at the time, bc I’m a useless handy-​person, and they took care of it for me — no charge.
Vanessa at the front desk is the sweetest and extremely helpful! You can tell she loves working there and is passionate about her work. Gus is also the man :)

Let me start by saying, «don’t be fooled by their kindness» it’s all a façade. They screwed up my car alarm system AND THEY KNOW THEY DID but they’ll never admit it. I went in for a damaged fender due to a minor accident and decided since they’d have my car for an extended period of time and my insurance would pay for my rental car it made sense to fix other issues I was having so I wouldn’t incur extra costs for a rental down the road. My window mechanism in my door broke so I couldn’t roll down my window and my air conditioning had recently stopped blowing cold air. I was approached by GUS. He was smooth talking, & uncomfortably flirty. By the time I was done with my estimate I knew way to much about his personal life. Can a girl just get her car fixed? Fast forward – it took 5 days longer than they said it would to get my car back and upon checking out the repairs realized my AC wasn’t fixed. I was upset because I already gave back my rental and they wanted to keep my car for additional days to fix what they claim they already fixed which meant I had to pay out of pocket for a rental! OMG I CANT TAKE THE STUPIDITY. 2 days later I’m at Paulee’s picking up my keys and I’m asked by Gus,“Do you use your car alarm?” I replied,” yeah, why?” To that he replied,” oh ok just asking.” I thought it was a weird question but didn’t understand why Un till I got home and triggered my alarm to hear this obnoxious loud horn sound in place of the cute chirp I had before. I immediately called him and of course that meant my car had to be brought it AGAIN! Long story short. They DENIED doing anything wrong but admitted they touched the wiring in my alarm, they tried unsuccessfully to fix it and had the nerve to tell me my alarm sounded that way all along! Really? Really. I’ve had my car for 8 years! And you’re telling me I don’t know what my alarm sounds like? So needless to say it was never fixed and they sent me on my way with coupons for a free car wash and detail.
GUS YOU SUCK! You know what you guys did and to not have an ounce of integrity and accountability is disgusting!!! Try spending less time chasing panties and more time doing your job effectively!

I recently got my car repaired at Paulees. The car was fixed and done well.
Vanessa was the one that handled my account. She was friendly and professional
and handled all of the details. Gustavo was the manager in charge.
He provided a very friendly informative experience. Even though they were
busy as a shop, the service was impeccable and attentive.
I would highly recommend this shop.

On September 28 (my birthday), after working my @$$ off for months, I finally bought my dream car (a black 2010 Ford Mustang premium with white leather seats that was in mint condition). 10 days later, my «lovely» neighbor decided to get off the parkway without turning the turning lights on or even looking at the side mirror… Long story short: she wrecked my passenger’s side (from the from bumper to the rear). The passenger’s door was so bad that it couldn’t even open a little bit. My neighbor’s insurance was Mercury and they sent me to Paulee Body Shop because I requested my car to be repaired somewhere near my house. When I got there I had a feeling that I was in good hands because it looked like a high end shop: Mercedes, Porsches, Bentleys, and even some antique cars being repaired.
My car was supposed to stay there for about 15 days but it got ready two or three days before that, and throughout the entire process they always kept me updated with the status of my car’s repair.
The whole staff was extremely friendly from the front desk to the mechanics (by the way, in the middle of the process I decided to stop by to check the car and they took me inside to see what was going on and both the mechanics that were working on my car were super friendly and helpful). But I have to stop and be specific about one of the employees: Gus (with the assistance of Carlos). The guy is super cool, funny and ultra professional. He made me feel confident that my car would be treated with «love and care» and that it would return to my hands better than before. And he was able to fulfill this promise.
I have to mention something really impressive that showed their amount of effort to put the customer’s needs in first place, no matter what: when I got my car back I realized that, when I was listening to music, some low frequencies were causing a rattling sound on the passenger’s side speakers (exactly where the door was in worst shape after the accident). Of course the body shop couldn’t realize that by themselves (and I have to admit that I can notice and be annoyed by those things more than the vast majority of people since I’m a sound engineer and music producer). I called Gus and he asked me to bring the car in and then asked the mechanics to tighten everything and look for anything that could be causing that. Since nothing was found (and the rattling sound kept buzzing) he just ordered a brand new speaker to replace that one. No questions asked, no bureaucracy, no «waiting for approval»… Gus was always with a smile on his face and ready to make things work for me.
Of course I hated the fact that someone damaged my beloved car, but since that happened, I strongly feel that, at least, I got really lucky that my car was sent to Paulee Body Shop.
p.s: I’m from Brazil and I’m living in L.A. for a little bit more than a year. I only write reviews in two situations: when I love a service/​product or when I hate it.

I recently took my car here after I had a minor accident and I wasn’t sure where to go. I read some Unilocal reviews based on some recommendations from my car dealer and I decided to go with Paulee Body Shop and I am glad I made that decision!
From start to end, they were really courteous and professional. They have a wonderful staff, especially the front office staff (Maria and Vanessa) as well as Carlos and Gus. They kept me up to date on contacting my insurance and my tow company etc. They did a lot of the hard work for me and made sure that my car was taken care of and I had nothing to worry about.
As far as the repair goes — it’s flawless. It’s like new and went beyond expectations to made sure that my car is perfect upon return. My car was detailed, washed, and waxed before it was returned to me!
PS: They have a car rental place right next door and Hertz is just a few doors down. So you could just pick up your rental car next door!

Paulee’s Body Shop has the best collision repair experts. Ask for Horacio! Timely, affordable, GREAT work and super nice. All the employees are professional and sunny. From Maria at the front desk to Gus in management, who thoroughly went over the repairs and the receipt. They even washed, waxed and polished my car!

Because Eric the manager expressed he wasn’t sure if his staff could put my vehicle together, I rented a car. After an hour of having the rented vehicle, Carlos called that my vehicle was ready. If Eric didn’t play difficult and pushed he’s staff to make things right, I may have avoided the rental in the first place.
He wanted me between a rock and a hard place and simply leave my car there for them to repair, because he didn’t want me to have a choice. Pretty lame huh?
The remainder of the staff was cordial however.
