My neighbor has the most beautiful blond hair and I asked her where she got her hair done, she sent me to this magnificent salon! I have super dark hair and it is almost impossible to get me blonde but the salon did it and I am so happy words can barely express! I will be back again for my roots touched up and can’t wait to share this place with all my friends.

I have been going here for years. Guillermo is amazing, always fits me in, never had a bad cut and I’m as picky as you can get when it comes to my hair. Just goes to prove you don’t have to go to a Beverly Hills salon for a good cut & style.

Guillermo is great hairstylist, you get suggestions and advice on how you can make your hair look great. In addition, you’ll get the best customer service here.
He does all types of hair, it is recommended that you make an appointment so you’ll get the right time for you and you only.
Girls, I’ve seen what he does to others and really he is great.

Pelos Place is a fun yet professional establishment. Guillermo provides excellent services and makes getting a haircut enjoyable. He also does excellent coloring and advanced techniques. This is a place I would highly recommend. Guillermo is talented and creative as a hairstylist. I only wish I lived closer!

Don’t waste your time coming to this putrid mess of a barber shop I asked for my hair to look like Anakin Skywalker from episode 3. Instead he gives me a short as hell haircut that is now forcing me to basically shave my head. Seriously this place really sucks. No matter how much you are tempted don’t come here. God damn seriously

This place is highly recommended. The guys are patient and soooo kind! Prices are reasonable. The place could use some remodeling, but other than that, it is great. There’s even silverside ramen in case you’re hungry :) and cowboys and turbans up the street! Heheh

Guillermo has been my hair dresser for many years now. He is meticulous, knows his craft yet doesn’t pressure his opinion on you. I love my hair black and have dyed it black for more than 10 years and he has suggested to change it and I finally gave in. He gave me a brown redish color and I love it! When I insist keeping my hair long he just cuts a bit to give it shape and doesn’t cut too much like others do.

I saw Guillermo a few months and he was the sweetest. Friendly and accommodating. I hadn’t gotten a haircut in almost a year and had gnarly split ends. He trimmed it up and got it all nice and clean and styled it just right. It’s a great deal for the price.

Memo is the man. I’ve gone to see him many times, always asking him to give me the same old cut.
Decided i need a change, and he totally gave me the best haircut yet! I will admit, i have pretty smashing hair to begin with — however i wear it. But this time Guillermo hit it out of the park! I think he actually hit it right over the hill INTO the Chavez Ravine.

My father-​in-​law, mother-​in-​law and husband have all had their hair done here and each time, they have walked out looking amazing and feeling fabulous! My father-​in-​law says that this is where you can get a Westside do, for an Eastside price. Both Guillermo and Isabel have been their stylists and both are wonderful.
This place is a hidden gem my father-​in-​law says — and he will always go here for his haircuts.

I used to drop $ 80-​$ 100 on a cut on the West side until I got a recommendation from a friend to check out Pelo’s Place. Guillermo is truly a master at his craft and always makes me feel amazing about my hair whenever I leave — and at a fraction of the price! Guillermo and Isabella still take class to keep up with the latest fashions trends, I just got the Brazilian blow out and love it my hair feels like silk.
Pricing is no different from any Salon in Silver Lake or Echo Park. They have Parking unlike many Salons in our wonderful neighborhood.

I have tried many hairdressers within echo park, Silverlake, and the Sunset areas and Guillermo, is by far, the best hairdresser. He is also the owner of this clean and nice place. I highly recommend him.
