Oh my god, these tacos! These are the best tacos and burritos that I’ve found in California and I’ve lived here for 30 years. As everyone has mentioned, the taco tortillas are freshly rolled and cooked on the grill, the toppings are awesome and the horchata is so good, you’ll never want to go back to those chalky ones they sell in Mexican restaurants. As for the complaint that«locals» don’t like it — I beg to differ. My fiancé and I walk to the stand at least once a week for $ 1.25 tacos and $ 5.00 burritos. Yes, the lights are hooked up to a van battery(or something) and the whole thing is a little jerry-rigged, but you can’t argue with quality. The al pastor and carne asada are, as you might expect, great, but they’ve also got a whole bunch of crazy offal if you’d like as well.

Omg, I eat here last night. Very delicious we had a bean, cheese and rice burrito and carne asada tacos. They make the tortillas on the spot which were delicious and fresh

This is so illegal and out of place. No license. It makes our town look like a 3rd world country. I will call the cops again. This is not a truck but people just sitting around and cooking on tables on our sidewalk. It is an utter nuisance and blocks locals from walking by. I cannot tell you what the food is like because I will not give my money to people that do not pay taxes.

A lot of excellent reviews for these fantastic street tacos with made on the spot tortillas have been written under the taco truck that parks in the same spot during the day. These are slamming street tacos. Come find it!

Best Tacos in the area. Much, much, much better than La Brea & Olympic’s El Chato. The only other places that are also good are the Taco Stand at Midtown Crossing on Tremaine & San Vicente(by Pico & Venice) but, there’s some little lame dude that works there that talks crap about people whom he thinks don’t know Spanish– on he nights when the cool little Paisa girl isn’t working. Pretty lame. Not worth giving that dude your money. The other good one is Leo’s Taco Truck on Venice & La Brea. The lines are so darned long though. You can’t really beat this place for their price and quality. The meat is nice, crispy & juicy! Even if it may sometimes«look» burned, it’s anything but! + Plus, the crispyness of the fresh made tortillas! It’s not going to dry out from like waiting to get to your plate from like 20 – 30 people in line before you, such as how it is at Leo’s Taco Truck. These ladies are Super Sweet, which makes it best. Feels more personal and they aim to please. Their English isn’t good but, they accept one practicing their Spanish skills with them with open arms.

These tacos are simple, and so delicious! The 2 ladies who run things are sweet and accommodating, and the tacos are only $ 1.25 apiece. What?! I want TEN.
