Pink Nails & Hair Salon

Tried this nail place out by my job and I love it. The lady and gentlemen were very nice and I love how my mani and pedi came out I made an appt since I was going on my lunch break and they seated me very quick upon arrival. I would definitely come back :)

A negative review is what they truly deserve. Worst nail salon!!!. Let me start out by saying that this is the first salon I’ve ever been to that doesn’t greet their customers when they walk in. Made an 11:30 appointment for today but at my appointment time both girls just started a mani pedi on a different customer. All of the sudden when a walk in popped in a man emerged from the back willing and ready to work on her. Will definitely take my business elsewhere. Also beware they add thinner to their polish so it chips in a couple of days. A cash only establishment should definitely cater to their returning patrons.

Great place for some pampering. They were able to accommodate me on a busy weekend day. Friendly and efficient. Will recommend and return.

Came here late to get a mani-​pedi so that was good because I needed something that was open so I came here. Their mani-​pedi was alright. I got gel but it lasted me less than a week, so I probably would not get that here again. Their pedicure was good, so I would come here for that if my other place wasn’t open.
Parking: Sucks because there is only metered parking and sometimes the whole street is full.

I’ve been coming here forever and a day — would never want to go anywhere else. Did once recently out of emergency need and it was a big mistake. Pink Nails is the best. Family run and owned and they all know their customers — many who have been coming as long as I have. They make you feel like you are part of their family. I usually see Tammy, but have also had the privilege of her sister Lilly (also known as Lilian) and their brother Long. Their father was my manicurist for many years until he retired. They do beautiful work, are gentle and give the best foot/​leg massages (and hand/​arm) than anywhere else. They last several minutes vs other nail salons who finish the massage in less than a minute. After a long and sometimes challenging days, walking into Pink Nails is a treat — both for the wonderful mani/​pedis and the warm, friendly environment. The best nail salon around.

Just walked out of there. They are open until 7 and I walked in at 6:30 just wanting just a regular manicure. There was only one other person in there who was getting polished so she was almost done. And the employee asked if I could come back tomorrow?! I would never ask a new customer to come back the next day! Screw that, never going back. It didn’t look clean in there anyway.

Love Tammy and the other women. Tammy is very kind and treats her elderly customers with so much care. Calling them cabs, walking them out, discussing their families, etc. A pedicure is $ 17.00 (not spa) which I prefer because I feel it’s more hygienic with a plastic bag liner. My pedicures have always been good, no chipping, etc. I usually bring my own nail color so I can’t comment on the selection of colors. And yes, they do get busy but Tammy gives you the real wait time, unlike a lot of other places. Most of the people seem to have appointments for just that reason. If I don’t have an appointment I stop in and if she can’t accommodate me I’ll go shopping at the Vons, down to the Starbucks or to the Mexican Food restaurant. Plenty to do while you wait.

I went and got a gel manicure today. I’ve been here a few times before and it’s usually pretty good. Today the girl who did my nails did it a little crooked. If you look at both ring fingers you can see that the white line is an VERY even and one side of the nail has more pink than the other. When you look closely at the French manicure in general part the white line is a little off on certain fingers. I asked her to do the curved moon shape and for whatever reason on my thumb it’s a straight line, same with my pointer finger. The moon shape is lacking the very high arc. I think the reason why some of the lines on certain nails are crooked is because when she would use the brush she would move the brush from left to right or right to left where instead when I’ve seen other people do it they approach it and hold the brush so the movements are from the opposite end of the nail (vertical versus horizontal) not from the sides.

Love this place. They keep their appointments, they have someone to work on both mani and pedi, they do a great job and they are reasonably priced. The guy doing the pedis does an amazing foot massage. I’ll be back.

Pm and there were two customers getting pedis and two manis. They told me it would be a 3 hr wait!

I live in the neighborhood and it’s very convenient and they do a great job. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are very friendly and like to chat.

I’m sure they are great, however– I made an appointment and sat in the lobby for over a half an hour while they took other people before me. I will not be going back, waste of time… Don’t even bother trying to make an appointment–

I’ve been going to Pink Nails since I moved to LA (over four years now) and I must say they are worth every penny. Everyone is so sweet and friendly. It’s a great warm family atmosphere and very accommodating! I have such a hectic schedule so when I call for the same day appointment Lilly always finds a way to fit me. I am a huge fan of gel nails AND it doesn’t chip (ever). Trust me.

Tammy, Lilly and Long are the sweetest most amazing people! I look forward to the days I have time to stop by for a pedi. They recently got new spa chairs and they’re NIIIICE.

Totally nice ladies. Got in and out real qiuck and very talkative to me, the customer. Didn’t feel like they were talkin about me. Cus she always kept conversation with me. Loved it

Came here when the bf offered to treat me to a manicure. The staff was super friendly and constantly smiled at you which is great. The selection of gel nail colors was ok too, a good little variety. My BF ended up getting a pedicure which he said was fine. My only complaint is that my gel manicure cost $ 30! Which seemed $ 5 – 10 over priced. It was done nicely and seems like it will last but nothing distinguishes this place from other nail shops near by were the gel is about $ 20.

I love this place. The ladies are friendly and they remember their customer’s name. The prices are reasonable, but most importantly, they provide excellent customer service. Good customer service is key for me. I also enjoy the long foot massage you get with your pedicure. Highly recommend this nail salon!
The only thing i wish they had were more vibrant colors to choose from.

Love this place. Everyone is so nice and friendly. The ladies that run the place seem to know everyone that comes by so this place has a lot of regulars.
Mani-pedi’s are $ 25 so that is pretty cheap for the area.
Parking is easy. The place is cash only.
I just wish they had more colors but I will be back.

Friendliest staff EVER. They really try to accommodate your schedule (and yes, you should call in advance because they do get busy!).
Great bikini waxes too!
