I have been walking by Post for a few months now and let’s just say it looked so sketchy I was beyond intrigued. As others mentioned the restaurant is well worn and literally tucked inside of a parking garage but still had an old school lunch counter vibe. I decided to give it shot and was more than impressed — for the price of course. Burger, fries and soda only $ 5.50. The cook made everything to order and I was sitting right behind the grill so I watched him make others’ orders and everything was well prepared. The burger and fries exceeded all expectations which were admittedly very very low. I’m not saying rush out and try it but if you live in the neighborhood this is not a bad hungover or no BS breakfast /lunch that doesn’t cost you $ 25. Also, if you would have asked me if they really have an «A» LAC health rating I would have told you I was Princess Diana, but I checked the county website and they do(92 to be exact).

Let’s be clear: this is a counter with the ambiance of a parking garage. Don’t expect a fancy place. BUT — expect FRESH food made to order at RIDICULOUSLY low prices. Get hash browns and they shred the potato right in front of you. That wiith two eggs, bacon and toast will set you back $ 5. FIVEBUCKS! Lunchtime… chicken dishes are also all fresh with rice and veggies, you might pay as much as $ 7. Get in and get out fast, get some freshly made(not frozen) grub and don’t hurt your wallet.
