Giving it a 2nd chance… and the verdict Not good. 1st time tried the tum yum glass noodle soup. Barely any substanence. Barely any meat, think it had some shrimp but only got 1. Veggies were non existent. Had to order rice to fill me up. The broth was good but had better. 2nd time around ordered yellow curry… Not good again. Curry seemed water down. Tasted very bland. Sorry Prem really want to like you guys since service is awesome but the food doesnt cut it

Excellent Thai cuisine. I ordered an order of egg rolls, chicken pad Thai, and orange chicken– all orders exceeded my expectation. I will most definitely be ordering from here when I am craving Thai food in the future.

Just ordered here for the first and the food was delicious! I’ll definitely be eating here again, I thinking might be the best Thai place in the valley.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since they opened. I really supported this restaurant as I normally do with small businesses. I took everyone in my family here. Their in dining service is great, family owned and what not. They made mistakes on my order once or twice but I brushed it off. I was disappointed however, ordering for delivery for the first time with them. Never had a delivery guy talk down to me for not answering my door for ONEMINUTE. He could’ve called my phone and told me he was here OR rung the door bell that was in the front gate, as what other delivery guys would do. He said he was outside my door for«20 minutes.» I understand he’s the owner’s husband and has a «strict» timeline. It does not however, give you a reason to disregard good customer service. Rest assured I won’t be returning to this restaurant again. I gave two stars because their food is good.

I was craving Thai food and decided to order from Prem’s. I ordered two lunch orders. Beef Pad Se Ew(which came with salad) and Yellow Chicken Curry(came with rice) I also got a Thai Iced Tea. First off, the young girl who took my order was unbelievably sweet, and my order was ready in 15 minutes. When I walked in I noticed how nice and clean the restaurant was, which is my really good. The owner and his family were very kind and pleasant as well. My order came to 20.00 and was delicious. I’m huge on freshness and the salad was crisp and green. The noodles were freshly made, and the beef was good quality. The curry was absolutely delicious! Tasted very homemade. I have nothing bad to say! Great restaurant, great family, great food!

I’m very happy that this little Thai place opened up right around the corner. Their food is delicious. The owner is a cool guy who goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and advise on any questions you might have about the cuisine and menu. Everything seems fresh and is served hot. Very nice!

Yummy Thai food!!! Best Thai iced coffee & Beef Panang! Hubby got the chicken Pad Thai and the kids got the Chicken Pad See Ew and Garlic Beef. So great!!! They were super friendly and welcoming and the food is really good! Best decision. It is in the same complex as Seafood City, towards the back… closer to State Farm and the California credit union.

If you like spicy food, try the drunken noodle and ask for spicy. When they say spicy, they mean spicy. I also got the spring rolls which comes with peanut sauce and they were delicious. He inside of the restaurant doesn’t look very cozy but I usually just order take out anyways.

We eat at Prem’s 1 – 2 times a month. The staff is very friendly, there’s never a wait for a seat, deliveries are prompt and accurate. I encourage other Unilocalers give them a try! It’s very close to CSUN as well.

This is a pretty non-assuming little place, it has changed hands over the years and has gone from an Organe Julius way back when to a buffet Chinese fast food establishment. Thankfully Prem is the latest and hopefully long standing tenant. It is simple and the menu offers most of what you would expect from a Thai place albeit in some pretty humble surroundings. It’s fast casual and all orders are of course made to order. Their phone was busy fielding to go orders and several of the tables were filled at lunch time. They offer several lunch specials and the only real difference is that they give you a small vegetable soup and small salad with your entrée. The are all about 8 bucks give or take a few cents. The soup was fantastic, clear chicken style broth with cabbage, carrot, scallions, cilantro. It really was nice on a cool winter afternoon. The Pad Se Ew was just the right size portion and the small green salad was o.k. The noodles were cooked perfectly and fresh broccoli and chicken both tasted very fresh and not overcooked to death as can sometimes be the case. A very enjoyable, affordable and quick lunch. Ample parking in the adjacent lot but it is a bit of a madhouse so defensive driving in that lot is a must. I will be back for sure to try some other dishes but so far so good for Prem!

My wife and I were in the neighborhood looking for some good Thai food to pick up. Thank you Unilocalers, who helped us make a great decision. At first I thought to myself, how does a restaurant have 4.5 stars with 45 reviews? Well right off the bat, when I called in my order they were very welcoming and nice. Taking my order went very smoothly, and efficiently. Then when I came in to pick up my order they already knew who I was and welcomed me as nice as they did on the phone. The staff was very friendly, and easy to talk to. They had my food ready, and drinks good to go. We went with Thai Fried Rice, Pad See Ew, yellow curry chicken, and 2 Thai Ice Teas. When we arrived home after a 15 mins drive, the food was still warm and ready to consume, thanks to their efficient packaging. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a good Thai restaurant.

It’s nice to see a Thai place only blocks from my home. This restaurant is owned by a very friendly family who is eager to please all their customers. The three or four times I’ve been here I have tried something different each time. The garlic pepper shrimp was heavy on the garlic and may be too strong flavored for the non-garlic lover. The garlic pepper pork is somewhat milder. The pad see-euw has a nice smoky flavor to it. I also have tried the shrimp and vegetable tempura which was very good and had several shrimps instead of two or three like you get at most Japanese restaurants. The summer rolls are shrimp and vegetables wrapped in rice paper and served with a nice peanut sauce.

Ventured in for a quick dinner and ordered the Drunken Noodles. I was the only one dining in on a Tuesday night around 6pm or so. Quick service & the food came out promptly. I ordered the drunken noodles with beef, «medium spicy». Medium spicy was actually very hot/spicy!!! My taste buds were burning lol. I even have a high tolerance for spice too! Next time I know to only get«mild». Sheesh :) The portion size was great; I couldn’t finish and had a mini lunch for the next day. Flavors were fine.

This review is for delivery. I’ve parked on the same lot that Prem’s shares with Dos Arbolitos, which I frequent many times. Prem’s used to be a Chinese fast food restaurant, and I never was interested in checking it out because it looked dingy and like a Panda Express. I still have not been inside since they turned it into a Thai restaurant. About a month ago, I got a Prem’s delivery menu on my front door step. It said free delivery within 3 miles. So, on a lazy yesterday I decided to order some delivery! The prices are affordable for what you get, and it’s pretty tasty. I would not say it’s the best thai food but very enjoyable. We ordered the Summer Spring rolls that came with a peanut dipping sauce. I loved the rolls, they were refreshing and clean tasting. I am not a fan of peanut sauce, I prefer a fish sauce chili dipping, so I made my own. Then we ordered two entrees, Spicy Noodles with grilled tofu and Sweet Basil with pork. Also ordered a small brown rice. The Spicy Noodles with tofu was yummy. The grilled tofu was smoky and had a nice char on it. Noodles were wide rice noodles, they stayed nice and long and didn’t break apart like other cheap Thai restaurants. Level of spicy was medium. The Sweet Basil with pork was A-OK. I liked the flavor but I couldn’t tell wether it was dried white chicken breast or dried white pork meat. Either way the meat was white and dry. Good level of spice, I asked for spicy, and it was spicy. The only thing that I really didn’t like was the brown rice. The brown rice was so dry and almost inedible. Half of it was hard. It tasted like it was made in the morning and they sent out the last batch for delivery, before making a fresh batch for dinner service. For an Asian restaurant, you can mess up anything, but not the rice! Maybe they had a bad day. I will order again on a lazy day. It’s the closest Thai restaurant, and again, not bad. Just the rice. About $ 30 for one appetizer, two entrees, small brown rice, and tip.
