Meet the Business Owner
Ralph and Celia P.
Business Owner
In 1956, Mr. and Mrs. Primo made a stop for their three-year old son that would change their lives forever. On a Spring day, rather than finding a new home, they found and bought a donut shop; a shop that would come to define them and their young family, as well as the great city of Los Angeles. Each and every day they endeavor to serve the hottest, freshest and best donuts to their customers. With a smile from the kind Mrs. Primo and a hot treat from Mr. Primo, Primo’s Donut stands as one of the oldest and best donuts shops in LA.
Beyond the shop, Mr. Primo became the 1st President of the Westdale/Mar Vista Homeowners Association, a scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts and a Little League coach. Mrs. Primo became a den mother for the Girl Scouts, a volunteer teacher’s aide, and a volunteer Spanish translator at the UCLA Cancer Clinic. Along with raising their three children and managing their business, they have, and continue to live a remarkable life that touches the Los Angeles community.
