It’s a really cool place with a really friendly staff. The coffee is amazing, and the teas are awesome. In fact, I tried a lychee black tea which the barista suggested me, and it was absolutely delicious.

I was a little confused because this shop claims to be organic but they still use the same processed syrups and milk that Starbucks does… The coffee taste was still good even though my latte was luke warm. The barista was sweet but seemed rushed. Maybe I’ll give them another try next time.

Just stopped in for a coffee and got a free piece of pumpkin pie! Happy Halloween! Super friendly service and good coffee too. I will be back!

I’m a coffee noob who can’t drink her coffee black, so I ordered a cold brew with some milk and syrup. The barista offered several different options for both the milk and syrup right away, and didn’t judge me on my adding milk and syrup as some more posh baristas do! My friends and I went close to closing time and accidentally overstayed a bit, but the barista was so nice and didn’t make a fuss about cleaning up or asking us to leave! Ambiance-wise, it isn’t the best… located in a super random strip mall and not a lot of tables inside, but seems like a good place to stop by and pick up some coffee! Oh, and prices were not bad either. $ 3 for a cup of cold brew.

2 great coffees, pour over, plus 18 hour cold brew. Did I mention they have gourmet organic teas imported from the golden triangle

I absolutely love this place– you can’t beat small business organic coffee. I wish they were open for longer hours, but hey maybe they didn’t get business in the hours they’re closed. The usual girl(sorry don’t know her name) who works there is super sweet and will modify your drink if you so wish. My go to is the iced caramel latte w soy and its srsly one of the best I’ve ever had.

I started coming to this coffee shop when it was Ground Coffee. I really loved Ground Coffee and loved the owners. It was always a pleasant experience going early Friday morning to get coffee for myself and for my coworkers. It became a routine that one of us would stop on pay day Friday and pick up coffee for all of us. We all looked forward to this. However, since it changed ownership I don’t feel comfortable going there. i feel that the quality of service has plummeted. The barista who’s there in the morning(maybe a British girl, can’t figure out her accent) is not friendly and not courteous. I feel her very arrogant and trying too hard to be a «cool hipster girl from L. A». The first time I went there and realized it was under new ownership I made a comment stating that I will miss the previous owners and her response was«Our coffee is better, it’s organic.» I was caught off guard with such an arrogant and nasty response. she could have said that in a nicer manner. I went in this morning to get a cup of coffee and out of nowhere she starts telling me her opinions about what’s on the news and seems bothered that I wasn’t agreeing with her. Honestly, I wasn’t in the mood to discuss these issues at 8am. As a customer service worker, she should have been able to read my cues of «stop talking please!» It was very uncomfortable. I simply went in there to give the coffee shop a second chance and she killed it for me. I’m not sure if this is the reason I also don’t enjoy my cup of coffee as much as I used to. I used to think it was the best cup of coffee in LA but now I feel it doesn’t taste as great. I’m not sure if it’s because they changed the coffee or because i leave annoyed. Don’t know! I don’t think I’ll be returning but I might try it again if I peek in and there’s another barista.

Quite possibly the best coffee ever. Every day before work I stop by for a coffee. Service is great, the coffee is marvelous, the atmosphere is quiet and nice. I just love it. By the way, now it is open at 7:00 am, perfect for those who work early. Highly recommended.

This is a cute mom and pop coffee shop. Nice change up from the Starbucks of the city. Cute inside with seating. The male employee was happy to answer all of my friend’s questions about their cold coffee and was very helpful.

This place was weird. In a good way. I think. Stopped for a(hopefully) quick coffee and while we returned to the car within 5 or 6 minutes, those 5 or 6 minutes packed a whole lot of, «huh?» The one employee working seemed a little flighty and he took an awkward pause between welcoming us and asking what we’d like to order. I ordered a hot coffee and my boyfriend ordered an iced. The man seemed confused when neither of us wanted anything added(cream, sugar, etc) but joyously added more ice to my boyfriend’s coffee when asked. Both tasted good, standard coffee fare that did the caffeinating trick. The décor is minimal and quaint. There are a few chairs, one table(with plug access if you live nearby and want to snag some hours away from your desk), and, when we were there, a motorcycle chained to the window. So… fun? Parking is easy as there’s a free lot right outside.

Called here SEVERAL times so i can ask for their hours since it’s not posted on Unilocal and they don’t have a website that I can refer to. During one of the calls, they picked up and hung up. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and called again. STILL… No answer… What kind of business just doesn’t pick up their phone?! I’m calling so i can spend money at your establishment! Disappointing after reading such great reviews.

Parking is free! Coffee is good! I’m obsessed with this place, especially since it’s a 5 minute walk from home. Prices are not Starbucks ludicrous(I just bought an ice blended caramel mocha drink with soymilk and a marble loaf slice for only $ 5.16). I hope it stays there forever!!!

Oh my, I absolutely love this place: great coffee/smoothly/pastry, TV, free WIFI and the two most important factors when I patronize a business: Good friendly service and clean… I stop daily for my coffee, or smoothly my croissant sandwich and relax a bit with my laptop connected on free WIFI…

One of the first things I did on moving to this ‘hood was to scour it for a good coffee place. I was profoundly disappointed to find nothing. About a year later I was delighted to see a new coffee place open just down the block from me. I’ve been here about a dozen times. Once I encountered a sullen clerk, but otherwise the owner and workers have always been cheerful and accommodating. Considering how new this business is it’s surprising there haven’t been more kinks to work out. And the coffee is GOOD! The Danish are among the best I’ve ever had. The bagels are fresh and have good texture. I add extra points for: 1) Cleanliness, including the restroom, 2) An open, uncluttered décor, and 3) Not having the music/tv up too loud. I have frequent migraines, easily triggered by noise, but have never felt I needed to get out of here or pay the price. I’m very glad to have this great place so nearby.
