RCP Graphics/ Rush Copy and Print

Jeff at RCP is the BEST!!!
I tend to have deadlines that do not give me much time to print. I have called pretty much ALL the shops that are in the area on Unilocal. You are wasting your time with other printers, believe me– I have done my homework.
I ONLY use Jeff and RCP for my printing. I have come to him now for multiple projects, all of which have been last minute. He has consistently delivered amazing work all at a REASONABLE PRICE!!!
From first submitting the artwork, to the finished product, he was there the whole way. This place is a true gem.

Literally the best printer I have ever dealt with. I have been there multiple times and have had thousands of copies printed last minute. Cost was competitive, service was SPECTACULAR!!!

This place is awesome. Jeff always gets our prints done in a timely manner and doesn’t charge outrageous fees like neighboring printers. He will definitely take care of you and is very good with communication.

I regret using them for my flyer/​postcard! I would NOT recommend this place to anybody!
I wanted to like this place and thought it would be my next reg. print/​copy shop. It turns out it’s the WORST one I’ve been to. I’ve had half-​page sized postcards flyers to be printed. Jeff told me it’ll be done by 5pm but no ring, so by 5:30pm I called him to check what was going on. Jeff carelessly told me that he did NOT do my printing BECAUSE he didn’t sense an urgency from my voice. I wouldn’t be so frustrated if he didn’t tell me that the prints will be done around 5pm and I’ve shaped my day around so traffic wouldn’t prevent me from getting there on time.
Other copy/​print places take about 4 – 5 days so I thought I’d be fair and give this new place a try with a week’s worth of time bcz of Thanksgiving. Jeff made it seem like it was a FOR SURE thing to get my prints done and assured me it can be done in much shorter time. I’m a small business owner and am prompt, as I should be, with my schedule and time frames. I have to hustle and work every minute I can and want nothing else but my marketing products at the end of the day. This place definitely isn’t cheaper than others but I thought I’m playing for the customer service others raved about.
1 week, and 1 day over due date later…
Jeff told me the prints were done and that they’re closing at 5pm. I was crazy busy that day but managed to cancel on a client to make it to the print shop by 5pm. But guess what? They were closed before 5pm and I kept calling at 4:46pm to let them know I’m coming. I even begged my bf to drive there after work in case he can make it earlier than I can! Sadly, this was the second time this happened. When I went to go see the proof Jeff called me twice about, they also closed at 12pm instead of the 3pm he told me. Granted, he called me that day an hour or so before that he’s closing early but I’m working and can’t just drop everything to meet his new schedule.
1 week, and 2 days over due date later…
I don’t care about the prints anymore. I don’t even want them! Rush Copy and Print’s quality is same as everywhere else. However, other places would at least respect your time and get your prints done without DISRESPECTING you. All I wanted was to drop my prints off, give them some time to print, and, pick them up by our agreed upon date. Somehow they managed to fuck that up leaving this nice gal pissed.
Recommendable places:
— Aardvark Letterpress (LA, for impressive business cards)
— Uprinting (Hollywood, very fast printing for when you know what you want!)
— Mobo Graphics (K-​town, very good if you need design help, takes 2 – 4 days)
— Next Day Flyers (Rancho Dominguez, but super fast next day!)
— Super Copy (Eagle Rock, I’m going there next…)

I recently got new hard copies of my shots and WOW. I NOW realise Rush copy quality was awful… if I had known I would of gone back and got a refund… but not until I got new copies from a different establishment did I see the difference. The color was OFF by a mile! Such a shame as the service was lovely.

I needed some flyers and a banner for an event but waited too long to order (just a couple days before the event). Jeff was able to suggest some options that were possible and it all worked out great! Thanks Jeff for coming through at the last minute, great service!

Jeff was a complete joy to work with. He is good natured, personable and very funny. Actually, a real hoot.
I had ordered headshots 5 years prior and he had to do a serious search to find the art work. He was more than happy to send me a proof in the mail. It seemed to come instantly.
I wanted to add a smaller picture to the bottom of the headshot. He said, «No problem!». Within 15 minutes I was looking at an email with the new version. This company really takes the word ‘rush’ seriously. Gee I wish everyone had this kind of customer service… Oh. Hi. How’s going DMV!!!

I’ve had a couple small personal projects to print & larger ones for the retail store I was working for, and consistently, every time I’ve gone to Rush, they have delivered quickly, affordably, and with a smile!
I really appreciate their attention to detail and care for their clients. It makes all the difference. I won’t go anywhere else for my Copy/​Print needs!

I went to Rush Copy because I had a large, somewhat complicated order that I needed quickly. I had a very positive experience there. I was greeted in a prompt and cheery manner. When I explained my needs, they said they could have it done within my limited time frame. They were true to their word and the work turned out perfectly. I would definitely use them again for any large or small job.

This is my second time using Rush Copy and Print, they are quick and professional. I called in yesterday and spoke with Jeff he took my order over phone and my headshots were ready for pick up today just as he stated. If you want quality service check this place out!

Rush Services is a little shop at Sunset and Gower that I am always happy to walk into. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the quality of copies that I get printed is always very high, and it’s quick and easy. Go here for all your copy machine needs :)

I am their longest customer. Jeff and staff have been great for many years. I teach Greg Dean’s Stand-​Up Comedy Workshop and I supply a workbook for free to all my students. This is the only place I go to get my books printed. My wife who is an actress and comedian also gets her printing done here. It’s great because they accept email orders and then I pick it up at a designated time. They are always ready. Even when I give a rush order. After all… it’s part of their name. If you need excellent and reliable printing-​this is the place.

I needed headshots for a meeting at 4 pm. I arrived at 2:45, and was out by 3:15 with 25 headshots for 25 bucks– they waived the set up fee! Plus, they threw in 25 copies of my resume on 8×10 paper for free. Wonderful customer service, especially from Jeff Stell, the general manager. He was incredibly helpful, and made sure everyone in the office was on my team, helping to get my order filled. I specifically joined « Unilocal» to write this review, because it was nice to have such wonderful customer service after dealing with Fed Ex Kinko’s down the street.

What can I say about Rush Copy? Just this…
If you need to make a couple of simple copies and this is close in proximity to you… Go here.
If you need to make copies of your resume for headshot purposes… Go here. (They have pre-​cut 8×10 paper, which makes your life a whole lot easier)
If, however, you need a BIG copy job done that’s going to require a lot of customer service and one-​on-​one attention… you guessed it… don’t go here.
I’ve been making copies at Rush since I moved to LA in ’05 (for the simple fact that it’s close to home) and I have yet to be greeted with a smile. I’ve walked in on a few inappropriate arguments between the owner and staff or wife of owner and staff. But a smile? Not a one.
Eh well… I guess it’s not that important in the world of paper inking. They actually do pretty good work (which is why I still go there)…but I just wish they’d un-​bunch their undies… and SMILE!!!
