Regency Palm Court

This place is okay for the most part, but can get pretty noisy at night. Ever since the building switched management companies, the building manager Lea has been overworked and not as friendly.
Just got notice of 7 late rent payments that Regency Palm Court will send to credit agencies. Didn’t notice that their recurring online payment system doesn’t update payments for increases in rent. So even if my recurring payment was on time, it was technically «late». It’s great to know that about 8 months after… each late fee is 50 bucks too.
It would’ve been nice to get an email early on to let me know this was going on.
Lea’s excuse is that she’s been overworked, so hasn’t had time to send out notice. She also said my case wasn’t enough of a priority compared to potential evictions or long-​term non-​payments. She’s let me know that as a reference, she would have to mention the 7 late payments if asked. Great.

I have lived at the Regency Palm Court for almost 2 years and I have had nothing but an AMAZING EXPERIENCE! The apartment complex is very quite and safe, the space is great for single young professionals! The entire management and maintenance staff works 100% to their best abilities to provide a happy, safe, and comfortable living. Lea the leasing manager is amazing and Sabrina and her team make communication so simple! Great location, close to all the supermarkets, AYCE kbbq, and parking is included in a control in AND out parking garage! There isn’t guest parking but my guests have never found it difficult to find parking at any time of the day/​night. Washer/​Dryer room on both sides of the complex, I have never had any problem waiting for a machine to clear up EVER! In fact, almost every time I was doing my laundry, I was the only person using the machines, and they recently changed the machine to be able to take credit cards! The complex itself is secure and there is a security guard monitoring nights hours. You do everything online on their resident portal, from paying rent, to requesting maintenance work, you can even post furniture to sell to fellow residents kind of like an online community garage sale! Honestly, the rent is so worth every penny, especially living in LA where most places cost the same if not more and you get A LOT LESS! Overall, if you are looking to move to LA consider Ktown Regency Palm Court!

Excellent place to live in a fun, safe neighborhood. Moving in was an easy, simple process and Sabrina was super cool and helpful!

Great location for anyone who wants to live in the Mid-​wilshire/​Koreatown neighborhood. I feel pretty safe here and I’m close to fantastic dining, cafes, and Korean supermarkets.
The best part about RPC is their excellent customer service. Overall friendly and courteous staff and seem to care about prospective tenants which carries on and continuous after move in. They are also quick to handling maintenance issues.
I take 1 star off because my unit came with a broken toilet which flooded the entire floor after the first time I used it. But their response was timely and professional which they replaced the old with a new one.

All around a nice place to live. It’s in mores town and a one bedroom is really the size of a studio. Apartments are very tiny. Photos make them look bigger. Almost 1300 $ for a tiny tiny one bedroom in koreatown. Also everyone is Asian of course haha not a big deal but I don’t really care for the area at all. Kitchen is basically unusable way too small and no closet space at all u literally have one closet. They don’t pay any utilities (almost every apartment pays water) You can find the same prices in Hollywood. Walls are extremely thin you can hear everything. Trash chutes, drunk people getting arrested. Basically what you expect living in LA. Maintaince has been dodging my requests for a few months now. Overall all, if you need a place to stay for unexpected issues this is an okay spot, although I am leaving in a few months and won’t be renewing my lease.

Good:
1) Clean & Safe area to walk around, even at night
2) Security that walk arounds at night
3) Super fast repairs (the best you’ll get anywhere)
Bad:
1) When moving out make sure to put in your 30 day notice on time. 1 – 2 days late and you will be forced you to pay at a higher month to month amount.
2) Water is billed by unit size and occupancy, regardless of amount used.
3) Room is small, kitchen gets cramped
4) Overpriced: No pools/​exercise room/​small laundry room
