Relaxation Stations™ is the new most amazing way to Relax and De-​stress the body & mind in 20-​minutes! A state of Total Relaxation is experienced through the combination of flotation, massage and meditation. Each Relaxation session includes listening to a guided-​meditation sound journey while floating upon a hydro-​therapy table that gently soothes and massages the body.

When the mind and body are relaxed healing can occur. This is achieved by the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system, the rest and restore function of the body, while the mind enters a state of deep meditation. At the end of a 20-​minute session healing energy is released throughout the body that can be felt from head to toe. Clients leave feeling blissful, rejuvenated and peaceful, ready to begin the best part of their day!

History

Established in 2014.

The creators of Relaxation stations™ realized two things: people don’t have a lot of time and the human body is most relaxed in its sleep state. During sleep, the body is able to rejuvenate itself at an optimal level. Unfortunately, many of us, do not get the rest or sleep we need. With this in mind, the creators of Relaxation Stations™ crafted a system to mimic this deep rejuvenating and relaxing state in the body in just 20-​minutes.

An uplifting experience! I am always looking for ways to relieve stress and have gone to countless spas for massage therapy etc. The 40 minute session at Relaxation Station entitled «Gone» has ultimately relieved 90% of the muscle tension in my back. I have a tendency to have muscle spasms, which always recur despite physical therapy and countless visits to my physician. I was overjoyed by the unexpected effect of the session. The deep meditative state of the session allowed me to relax my muscles thoroughly. The water bed-​like massage table uses heated water jets which helps stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system. Noise canceling headphones are used as the client listens to a narration with an accompaniment of music. The combination of the water jets and audio allowed me to fully relax. When the session ended my entire body was tingling. I had full range of movement in my back and neck, which was an unexpected surprise. I immediately purchased the 30 day unlimited pass. I was so delighted by the experience and the wonderful attentiveness of the staff. I highly recommend this innovative treatment session. If you want to treat yourself to a stress free day for a 20 to 40 minute escape you absolutely must try Relaxation Stations.

I like that I can just walk in anytime and in 20 minutes unwind from my whole day. I sometimes treat myself to the 40 minute session «gone». And boy do u feel relaxed afterwards. And for any meditators out there trust me do this then go meditate u will really be gone. It helps calm your mind so your thoughts stop racing you feel like you can just enjoy the present moment better. I agree with the other Unilocaler, I think Melissa was her name, you don’t really realize how effective the treatment is until the end and the water stops and your body is tingling and you can feel that you can send the energy wherever you want. That is my favorite part. I wish I could go everyday.

I got a free trial from a friend; the business is new and offering a few promotional sessions to get the message out. I love getting massages (who doesn’t?) and thought this would be a comparable experience, but it was actually much different, and I found it surprisingly refreshing.
There are a few stations set up with small dividers for privacy. It’s a very different experience and I think my description of my 20 minutes isn’t going to do it much justice, but I’ll try: You lay on a shallow water bed that shoots jacuzzi-​style streams throughout your body, and you wear a set of headphones playing an audio recording of a man talking you into a trance.
At first I found it ridiculously funny, but not unpleasant, even though I couldn’t stop laughing at the recording and it was strange to feel my body vibrating. Then I got into it, falling into an interesting state of consciousness, distracted from my chattering mind and into a place where the experience could do its work. I spoke with Esther, who co-​owns the shop with her husband; it’s intended for quick relaxation, and can help those who may have trouble meditating.
I didn’t realize how effective it had been until the bed stopped vibrating and the session was done. My whole body was tingling, and I was noticeably more relaxed than when I had first come in. No tension in my body! Not bad for $ 20.
