I have been going to Dr. Apt for years and he is very nice and professional. I would go back again, and the review by Nancy N. doesn’t make sense, she doesn’t pay her co-​pay and expects service. She sounds like a scammer.

I have had a great experience with Dr. Apt. Several years ago I determined I wanted to have LASIK performed and researched all of the doctors in the area that had the technology I was looking for (specifically an all laser procedure).
I was a regular patient of Dr. Apt for several years until I had saved up enough money and I was ready for LASIK. I had the procedure performed in January 2011 and I wake up every morning shocked at how well I can see (I have worn glasses the majority of my life). Dr. Apt answered all of my questions about the procedure and performed it himself. I have experienced no complications and I would definitely recommend him to anyone contemplating LASIK.
Dr. Apt’s staff was helpful and professional and the location was extremely convenient for me.

In the spirit of full disclosure, I would like to state that my experience with this office was approximately 5 years ago. I happened to see that this office was still open and felt a comment was necessary. I suffer from Chalazions. This office incised one for me. After the swelling went down from the procedure I was able to tell that the chalazion had not been removed. I called and returned. The doctor was angry! He mumbled to himself during the second procedure as though I had created this annoying situation for him. He was not very gentle and I was actually frightened since he had a sharp instrument next to my eye. I never went back and never would. Maybe a bad day, but that’s no excuse!

Great eye doctor. Takes great care of his patients. Great follow up!

This review is regarding the Optician that works for Dr. Apt’s offices.
I got a pair of glasses a little over a year ago. When they broke, I called the office and left a message for him. He didn’t return my call after an hour, so I called him back. It was a Friday afternoon, and I was faced with a weekend without my glasses, so I needed to do everything possible to get them repaired.
He informed me that he had forgotten to collect the co-​pay for the materials, claiming that he had sent me three letters requesting the $ 20. He told me that he wouldn’t help me with my glasses until I paid him. I was in complete shock! I told him that I didn’t receive anything, but he clearly didn’t believe me. I had moved, but find it hard to believe that three letters in a row were not forwarded to my new address. Hmmm…
He reluctantly repaired my glasses, but was unbelievably rude and arrogant. I should mention, also, that my glasses were over $ 100 more than what he had told me they were going to cost. And now, over a year later, he is going to squeeze another $ 20 out of me?
Bad business practices. I can’t (or shouldn’t) mention his name, but he is the only one there. I don’t recommend using him… he ripped me off, and I walked out of the office feeling like I had made a very poor choice.
