Robert Half Technology

Recruiter called me when I was on a temp job at another company. Two weeks later, after the job concluded, I called them again, only to have the receptionist tell me that the recruiter was fired from Robert Half. So, I was connected to her supervisor. We made an appointment so I could come in and talk to him about my career path and possible permanent jobs they could get for me. He cancelled the appointment twice before I actually came in. When I finally did come for the appointment, we sat down, he let out a sigh, and said «Gotta be honest with ya man, I don’t think we can find anything for you.» Woulda been nice if you’d just told me that over the phone, since you had my resume and online application already (filled out and uploaded on their awful, pre-​Y2K website). Then, I went to another agency closer to where I live on a Friday. By Monday, I had an interview and by Tuesday, I had a job. Will I ever use Robert Half again? Uh, I think not.

Appreciate the fact I got a call back from a manager to talk about the issue (because of this I’m updating to 2 stars), but I was also told that I would get a call back from another recruiter that same week. Unfortunately, that never happened and that was 2 months ago.

I was glad that someone at RHT was interested in trying to address the issues I brought up in my last review (dated 5÷31÷14). I got more calls, from different recruiters. But several months later… still no job. Plus if you read through their reviews, you’ll notice the email response from them is a form letter. I stand by my first review and will continue to avoid them.

Robert Half Technology is a wonderful organization. All because of one person. Anna Malayan.
Before signing up with Robert Half Technology, I was skeptical. I read a lot of reviews online that spoke negatively about the company. After my initial meeting with Anna Malayan, I quickly dismissed those reviews. I was fortunate to be assigned to her as my recruiter. She responded quickly, always called for updates, and left voicemails. Additionally she followed up if I was too busy to respond (I was working part-​time).
There was an scenario where I received a parking ticket while working on one of the jobs another recruiter signed me for. Even though Anna was not that recruiter, she was able to get the ticket fine reimbursed. This is just one of the examples that she is a very dedicated recruiter.
I would recommend Anna to anyone who is looking for a position in IT and Development.

Anna Malayan is a wiz when it comes to putting me with the right people to not only get me in a good job but also help a company that really needs it. She is honest and tells you like it is. She cares about her clients and she cares about me. When I really needed her she was more than happy to help me. I can not thank her enough. If you need to work then hit Anna up.

Robert Half Technology is amazing! They treated me with the utmost respect when I was most vulnerable. I was down on my luck and without a job. Although I had almost given up hope of finding a decent paying job in the IT field, a friend of mine recommended me to an angel! Anna Malayan, interviewed me, helped me remake my resume and within 5 days I was working for someone with a great paying job! She saved my life! Worst place ever. Was placed in a job that got rid of me because they were discriminating against me, not because of my work performance. Which, was «excellent» according to my manager. Then the next day I get a call from the temp saying I was let go due to «other reasons». Yeah right, other reasons meaning people that don’t like me and others not getting alone with «minorities». The name of the company is «macerich» beware and stay away from Robert half at all cost! They do not look out for the «temp» they look out for the client and you will be replaced and a heartbeat !

I was referred to to Robert Half Technology from a great friend. Immediately I was greeted with a phone call from Anna Malayan. She has been very professional and persistant with finding a great position, and succeeded. She would call me daily to inform me of updates and job positions that are available. This woman is as good as it gets, extremely friendly, professional, and prompt at what she does! If your considering Robert Half Technology, work with Anna Malayan! Sean Donovan is honestly great. He is honest and quick. Most recruiters won’t return phone calls or emails. Sean does both of those. I can’t believe how many people he has to place, but he is always very quick and upfront with me.

These guys are a bunch of clowns. I went to them trying to get them to help me with a job from one of their clients. Instead, they coerce me into talking to them about joining Robert Half Technology. Two weeks of talking and interviewing me for THEIR internal position, they gave the job to one of their internal employees and then call me in for another interview and tell me then that they want me to work for them at an entry level job making 100 calls a day sitting in a cubicle in Westwood. These guys wouldn’t be honest if their lives depended on it. Pick another firm.
