My review will be on the Zumba class they offer here. I love it! This place is originally set up for parties, weddings, etc. so it has lighting and a nice sound system. They do the Zumba class on the dance floor of this hall with the lights low, club lighting, and loud music. Doesn’t feel like a regular Zumba class but more like a club. The instructor, Gerard is so lively. He makes the class fun. I like the music he uses. A lot of recent music in all genres. I wish I could give it 5 stars, but they don’t offer class on Fridays. Only if there’s enough people signing up on the Thursday before.

I saw a sign for Zumba class so I called the number. Very helpful guy answers and tells me he will text all the info to my phone in 3 minutes. Yes, in 3 minutes I got all the details. That was a few days ago but tonight I pulled up the text, and decided to check it out. Your warm up is climbing up to the 3 floor on old wooden steps. Nice dance floor and not too crowded. Fast paced and made me sweat which is why I liked this class. I will go again in the future. I have tried many different Zumba classes but I know that I will return to this one again and again.

Ok. I loved this place. Came for Zumba classes. The instructor was great. You can tell he is a real dancer. Came out sweating. If you don’t like the hood don’t come here. It is in the ghettoest part of the city. The atmosphere is of a club slash quinceañera mix, but it was great. They got the lights and all the components of a club. 7pm class not crowded. They have all the latest music too. Will be coming back tonight.

This is a review for Zumba classes only!!! I have never ever been for an event and don’t know that I ever will. So here it goes; The location of this hall/garment building/zumba class is deep in downtown Los Angeles near Trade Tech just south of the 10FWY(Just to give you idea of where building is). So it isn’t the nicest area of the city so if your a snob this is not, I repeat not the place for you!!! I like to think I have some hood in me :) grew up in a ruff area so I don’t mind it much hahaha. Anyhow the building is old and is really a garment factory building and one of the floors is «Salon Acapulco» which is used as a hall for special events and banquets. Trust me it’s decked out club style with mirrors, lights and stage. I guess its a place used for weddings and quincenieras, who knew? So during the week they use to same location as a place for Zumba classes. Everyday of the week there are 3 classes 5−6pm, 6 – 7,8−9pm and it gets packed. It only cost $ 3 a class… pretty norm for Zumba. However, what sets this Zumba class apart from the rest is that since it is at a make shift hall… they have the lights and the club sound… which is AWESOME. Yes it feels a little seedy but who cares there are no men trying to grope on me. I get that feeling of being at a club and dancing without having to be at a club. Now ladies you know how those clubs can be… uhhhh. I call this place ghetto fabulous(sorry if I offend anyone) but it’s not the nicest place yet great to work out at. I recommend going if you’re not a FRESA! For those who don’t speak Spanish look it up.
