Schnitzly

We love this place. It’s normally busy when we come in and there are lots of teens that hang around but everyone is enjoying themselves. I normally get the buffalo schnitzel salad with garlic mayo dressing and all the veggies. This salad is massive but o so yummy! I can never finish but I’m happy to take it home to munch on later. My honey usually gets the buffalo wrap and it’s equally delicious! Awesome kosher spot!

I am legit addicted to this place! I literally came here 3 days in a row to get their schnitzel salad because of how delicious it was. I literally drove 40 miles back and forth to get my fix from this place. I highly recommend the schnitzel salad with the western (creamy bbq) dressing. The only downfall is that its about $ 15 for the salad. I think that’s a little too steep. I guess that is the price you pay for having it be Kosher. Other than that, I’m still going to be an avid customer!

This is one of those places I go into and walk out promising myself Id never go back to.
My take is: 3 years ago this would have gotten a 5 star.
Today, I was actually really hard pressed to give it the 3 stars.
Here’s why:
The is no question that the food is good, not excellent but good.
Its just that the service is non-​existent. Yesterday went into the restaurant. It took them 15 minutes to take my order and there were only 2 people ahead of me. It took them a solid 25 minutes to make a simple to go order. What seemed so wrong is that three people who ordered after me got their order way before me. The people who work there don’t care– they will hand you a to go order without any napkins or utensils. They will dump the sauces in causing it to spill all over. Believe it or not, the workers there look aloof. It doesn’t seem like it registers that theyre at work and people are waiting on them, They’ll just meander about until customers get mad then they just say ‘oh I’m so sorry, its coming up…’

Terrible service. If you’d like service with an attitude and at the pace of snails, this is the place for you. They answer your questions with grunts and throw your food at you one by one. I won’t be coming back.

I am not a fan of this resturant. They overcharged me by forced and the portion size is way smaller than it use to be. It is a joke.

Attempted to order the regular nuggets. They tell me they’re outta regular fries and tell me to pick another type of fries. I’m about to pay and notice they tried to charge me extra without my consent. When I inquired about it they wrote me off and were surprised that I complained. I really don’t expect a lot I just want to get what I pay for. They did this to EVERYONE in my party. It’s completely dishonest and I lost A LOT of respect for them.

First of all, this was the first kosher establishment that I have been to ever.
The place has a fast food look and feel to it. Of the 2 times I been here, I ordered the schnitzly schnitzel. The breaded chicken tastes good and rice and fries are satisfying.
I feel there are many other kosher restaurants that have better quality food.

Loved the guy at the cashier desk. Really cool guy and very interesting. Aside from that, the food is great and they’re always open late. Good to come with friends. I’ll be back for sure! This place is bomb

Love Schnitzly. Very unique idea to have a kosher Restuarant that’s specialized in one specific food. We go here often & have ordered most everything from the menu. Love the variety of sauces they have to offer. You get to pick 3 ;)
Today we got the burger slider (3 cute little sliders on a plate, I asked to put the sauce on the side). Ordered the western, spicy & honey mustard sauce. They all were excellent.
Also got the buffalo chicken wings. It’s sweet & sour. Very yummy.
The service is not the best though. The people who take the order seem alittle uninterested & impatient.
Regardless of that, I still love this place & will be going back. The food is very yummy & unique.
The ambiance is cute & different. They have iPads attached to the wall. A couple of times I’ve taken my kids there, they were able to watch their shows on YouTube while I ordered the food.

¹⁰⁄₁₀ restaurant. Food is always good & fresh, service is great. The food is delicious also. I highly recommend the buffalo schnitzel. Another plus is Thursday and Saturdays they are open till 3am

i have recently been back to Schnitzly a few times and i must say that the service has improved 10 fold.
The food is delicious as usual and especially those corn dogs.
My all time favorite is the chilli schnitzel and fries with a whole lot tahini.
I am definitely a returning customer

This place is awesome! Customer service is great, food portions are generous, and manager is great too ;) Will definitely be back!

The buffalo nuggets (with the buffalo sauce or garlic mayo) and avocado egg rolls are my absolute favorite. They taste even better at 1am ;) and I am always so excited that I’m able to get food from one of my favorite places on Pico so late at night.
I have been coming to Schnitzly ever since it opened (RIP downtown location :() and although I will be the first to admit there has been room for improvement (not the food — the food has always been consistently good) I agree that at times they have been slacking in the service department.
HOWEVER, ever since Schnitzly went under new management the difference in the restaurant has been night and day. Service is on point, the space is much cleaner, and the entire vibe just feels more efficient and welcoming overall.
In short, a star for great food, a star for great service, a star for being open late, a star for innovation (yay iPads) and… a star for the plethora of dipping sauces because who doesn’t like options? 5 stars all around.

I came here with a friend late night to grab a bite one night and Mr. Davis was wonderful. After my friend ordered the wrong food, he was so accommodating and understanding and exchanged the food for us immediately. His act of kindness made me want to come here to have an excellent service. He was truly a mensch.

I ate lunch with my husband here. We got the chicken and burger combo. It was a great deal. They give you fries, chicken or burger and a can of soda for $ 10. Food quality, is good. When we came, It was in the middle of the day, so it wasn’t so busy. They got us the food quick, which we liked because we were starving. Overall we had a great experience. They have a lot of different options on their menu. Many different combinations of chicken and all that other stuff. We would recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

zero flavor, had the garlic schnitzel plate, schniztel tasted like cardboard with breading, my grandmother would hit me if she saw me eat that poor excuse of a Schnitzel!

If your going here you obviously need to get one of their schnitzel dishes. They have different flavors and spice rubs that they put on the various schnitzels. I tried the curry and the chili schnitzel, both of which were pretty good. The chili flavor definitely took the cake though. People I was with also ordered the avocado egg rolls with this mustard teriyaki sauce which was also amazing.
DO NOT forget to ask for the sauces to dip or spread onto your sandwich or chicken tenders. Especially the garlic mayo, it is pretty legit.
Great for late night eats and place feels very clean.
Cons: This place turned into a high school party on saturday night so beware. In a matter of 15 minutes a crowd of over 50 high schoolers showed up and took over, the restaurant felt extremely crowded and loud.

Oh boy! Don’t come here on Saturday night unless U R under 18! It’s like Jewish summer camp! Loud crazy kids running around bumping into tables, screaming & yelling OIY!

My first time there I ordered the chicken and turkey pastrami bugette and it was fabulous. I’m loving kosher restaurants I don’t have to say «NO CHEESE PLEASE» If you’ve never been then you should u won’t be disappointed.
