He has experience working at Pep Boys, Robertson Honda and Miller Mitsubishi for over a decade. The one & only best smog test station in the Silver Lake area. Manny will treat you like a human being, and will even advise you to not test your car if he feels it won’t pass. He makes the whole process easy, and for only $ 60. I recommend this shop to all my friends, because it’s fast and legit.

I had to get a smog check done to renew my car registration this year. This is the exact kind of errand I avoid like a baby until a) Matt B. nags me into action or b) I get in trouble. Last year, I carried my registration sticker in my purse for months and forgot to put it on my actual car until I got the world’s dumbest most avoidable $ 25 ticket. (It took less than one minute to get the sticker on in the end, even including the walk to and from the garage.) With the smog check, I let my husband remind me about fifteen times and we finally went to Smog One Test Only over the weekend.
Turns out this was an easy errand, and that I did not need to put it off or drag a plus one to do it. I drove in on Sunday afternoon and Manny, who appears to be quite popular on this Unilocal page, attended to us immediately. He told us to hang tight for about six minutes, and before we could even imagine getting impatient, the smog check was done. We paid the $ 60 and Manny took care of the reporting and whatever other pain in the ass parts might’ve been involved so I could renew my registration online hours later.
Next time I need a smog check, I’ll act like an adult and get it done, preferably with Manny’s help. Now that I know that it just takes some money and six minutes of my time, I think I can approach this errand with confidence.

Friendly, fast service. The process takes less than 10 minutes. They are located on the far left in an auto repair center. It cost $ 50 after the Unilocal check in. You still go online after to pay the dmv unlike other places where you can pay it all.

Manny was… the man!
Very considerate, trustworthy and efficient with his work. I waited no longer than 10 minutes to have the whole smog check completed. His pricing is awesome too.
I’m sure they get busier in the afternoon, but I went around 11am and he fit me right in the garage.
As long as I live in LA, I will always come to Manny for my smog checks… and send all my friends (and enemies) there!

Further to my 7÷26÷2013 review, Manny and Smog One Test Only are still the best. I dropped in unannounced before noon today. Manny had me out of there in minutes, $ 10 Unilocal discount included.
