Great sandwich! They have an array of different breads to choose from and the meat is perfect on every sandwich. The sale sides and fresh fruit.

I used to work as a trucker and was constantly over in this area and this place is a gem in the wasteland near LAX. They have delicious and fresh deli sandwiches for very cheap and the staff that works here are great

Liquor Store Deli The deli is located inside the liquor store. It has a very small footprint. All the meats are pre-cut and ready for assembly. Prices were not any higher than their competition. Today, I got the Italian. It was about $ 5. Good, not great. I would return.

Place is a joke. I had a 3 layover day and pulled into this place because it said«DELI» I walked in and asked the homie behind the register for a sandwich and frowned-shook his head and said«sorry bro we close in an hour can’t make a sandwich.»

I came here for the first time after reading the reviews. People always say don’t judge a book by its cover and the same should be said of this sandwich shop. From the outside it looks like your common liquor store, but wait until you try their Tuna and Avocado sandwich. Way better than subway! I highly recommend the place for a quick lunch.

First visit, and must say the employees were really nice. Came in really close to closing time and they gave NO attitude about making a sandwich. Tried the tuna sub and it was GREAT! i would have never guess with the exterior but thanks Unilocal!i was in the area and glad i stumbled across this place.

Don’t let the exterior scare you away(: This place is actually a great stop for quick snacks, drinks, and other convenience store items. I was a little hesitant to go here because it just looks a little shady, but I’m glad I did. I’m pretty sure they also have an ATM.

My favorite spot to get a sandwich near LAX. The cranberry mayo is soooo good! The place get crowded for there’s usually a bit of a wait to get a sandwich but well worth it!

«BESTSANDWICHINTOWN» my wife wanted me to start off with that quote and I agree. I’ve been coming to place for over 7 years now(work in the area). I’ve tried mostly everything on the menu and my taste bugs were pleased with each and everyone. The salads are your basic salads. The ladies there are like family. Can’t say one bad thing about this place. Also, where can you get a good sandwich and a tall can at the same place? Now that’s a lunch for a champion!

I’m hooked on their roast beef & horseradish mayo sandwich. It would be nice if the mayo tasted more like horseradish though. Tuna and baja beef were good as well. Not too crazy about the chicken pesto. needs more«oomph» The staff is always really friendly with a positive vibe :)

Snappy’s has a great selection of sandwiches and salads, Great for a quick lunch or a bite on the way home from work… I like to come here because I can get a large cup of ice for 35 cents and fill it with my own drink(diet squirt). There is a deli section where they will make you a tasty sandwich or salad, Many people I work with come here at lunch and I am often drooling at their plentiful salads and sandwiches. For some reason I haven’t eaten here yet, but like I said, everything looks good and the deli seems very clean. The guys here are always friendly and wish me good luck when I buy my lotto tickets! If you hear that the jackpot has hit at Snappy’s, lets hope it’s me !!!

I know it doesn’t look like much from the outside, but this is the sandwich spot. You seriously can’t go wrong with any of the sandwiches. My favorite would have to be the hot pastrami sandwich with a side of fruit salad. Overall, pretty simple set up. You walk in, look at the menu, tell the ladies your order, wait a few mins, and then pay. No fuss!

5 stars people? I didn’t see it on my visit. Yes, the people here are really nice, all smiles and happy. That’s nice, but i ordered a sandwich, so smiling or not, the proof is in the pudding, or sandwich in this case, and i’m left w/o feeling the love. I ordered the large hot pastrami on a wheat roll. Apparently, large just means a bigger piece of bread w/o any more meat. They just spread it out over the extra inches of sandwich. I paid extra for the bread and extra condiments. That’s not cool. Not to mention, pastrami shouldn’t crunch in my mouth. WTF!!! I guess the pastrami was left in the microwave for too long when they heated it. Yuck! The bread was fresh, the pastrami had good taste when it wasn’t crunchy, the toppings were fresh. For the price i paid $ 5.71 w/tax, it was an ok value, but if i ever go again, i’ll stick w/the regular sized sandwich… and avoid a hot sandwich. Microwaved meat isn’t appetizing to me to begin w/let alone when it’s over nuked! Less bread in my tummy and more bread in my pocket may improve my rating here.

What a find! The sandwiches are unreal. The Turkey with Cranberry Mayo, Roast Beef with hoarse radish mayo, or the Chicken with chipotle. I have never been a fan of mayo, but I had to try these after the recommendation of a co-worker. And all I have to say is I am hooked. The worst thing about this place is having to choose witch one I’m having today.

Best sandwhiches in LA. Yeah its a liquor store… but try their sandwiches. Go before or after the lunch rush… there is always a line… cuz their sandwhiches are so FLIPPING good! I’ve been going here for YEARS and the sandwiches still blow me away. I recommend the turkey with squaw bread… and the pastrami… and Italian. Friendly customer service. Not a lot of parking, but it is definitely worth a stop if you haven’t been. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.

As far as convenience stores go, this one is pretty good. It’s right down the street from the LAX courthouse, where I spent three very non-productive days on jury duty recently. The first day I ate lunch at the courthouse cafeteria. That experience led me to search out alternatives in the neighborhood the following day. Enter Snappy Food Mart. It has your basic convenience store goods along with a sandwich counter that has a fairly large menu. I had a large Italian sub on wheat($ 5.25) that was pretty good. It was similar to a Subway sandwich, which normally wouldn’t impress me, but the fact that it was freshly made in a convenience store somehow made it better. Or maybe that just makes Subway that much worse. Either way, the sandwich blew away the courthouse cafeteria. Everything was fresh and tasty and all of the items in the deli case looked great(fresh cut fruits, deli salads, etc.). The people working there were very friendly and the large parking lot was a nice change from those cramped 7-Eleven lots. No Slurpees, though.

This place is great. Where else can you buy a lotto ticket, get your check cashed, grab a beer, try on some some glasses and have a fresh sandwich made to order? Valentina is the sandwich guru. She prides herself on making the best sandwich in town that knocks the socks off subway or Togo’s. The bread is fresh, the meats are tender and Valentina rocks the house! Recommendations: pastrami Italian tuna club
