I have been buying things from here for years to furnish my home. I just brought a friend there who was shopping for just the right desk for his new abode, and he was delighted to find a quality antique writing desk made from solid wood, instead of setting for a cheap IKEA option made from flimsy particle board.

No fitting rooms !!! So sad because you can find some really great pieces here. I would say pricing is a more then it should be. Huge place lots of clothes wear a one piece so you can try in your things in aisles

I heard about this place from Unilocal and it really is a huge selection of furniture, clothin and more. The location is a massive warehouse but the items are very well organized. The pricing is reasonable, with the exception of some of the couches/​armchairs which were priced at $ 500+. What surprised me the most was their selection of shoes… that included Supras, Osiris and Nike (some for $ 30 and in almost new condition). I’d definitely recommend checking this place out for some fun vintage finds or for some slightly used fashion.

Great selection of furniture and décor. Helpful staff but keep a sharp eye on the guys loading heavy stuff into your car.

This was my go-​to thrift shopping place. It was huge, had lots of variety and sold everythingggggg– even old trophies. The only thing I hated was the smell. While walking to the clothing area, there’s a section with paintings, mirrors and night stands. It reeks of blood there. It wasn’t just once too! Every time I’m there, I spelled iron and blood. Is this just me? I sure hope not.
They have restrooms that are fairly clean. Don’t try to bring your clothes in to try, they get very very angry. Most people just change out in the open. They wouldn’t remove their clothes, but put jackets and pants over their existing attire.
The price is cheap– it’s a thrift store. I stopped shoping here and started donating here. I wanted to mae a change from always giving to goodwill. Their donation section isn’t popular but they’ll give you a tax ticket for the things you donate.

This is probably one of my favorite thrift stores, there’s hasn’t been a moment that I have left this place disappointed

Oh my gosh where do I start? this whole mess has been a total nightmare! They sold me BED BUGS after I asked if they check for BED BUGS. I was assured that the employees go to training to ensure everything is clean. So believing them I was like alright ill buy this red sofa I thought looked pretty clean. when I got it a week later I noticed I had BED BUG bites all over my body. I called and yet again I was told that the employees go though extensive training and even have certificates to ensure there are no BED BUGS. so when I start stripping the couch to wash all the cushions I find a nest of BED BUGS I call the store and then somebody calls me the next day saying sorry but at this point im pissed because these things spread like wild fire. so the supervisor tells me he can refund my money and pick up the infested sofa THREE DAYS LATER but at this point I am thinking they’ll be all over my house by then.
So the time comes when they finally send people to pick up the couch and just as I think my worries are over I get another bite soi start looking at my bed (which I had before the sofa and never had bed bugs) I find 14 BEDBUGS and its too late because they already spread to my room.
I decide to call the supervisor Jorge and he tells me im calling too late and asks if he can call me in the morning but im like you aren’t the one getting bitten at night. The next day he never calls me so I call him. He ignores my call so I leave a voice mail. Guess who never returns my call? the person who is avoiding, Supervisor Jeorge. So now instead of making a move forward I take two steps back. Now I have to Throw away my bed and my rug all because I wasted my time coming here. Now I have to buy a new bed and Pay for an exterminator.
SHOP HERE IF YOUR LOOKING TO INFEST YYOUSELF WITH BEDBUG BED BUGS BED BUGS. IT FEELS LIKE A CURSE!!!
ALL I WANTED WAS A SOFA INSTEAD I GOT BEDBUGS AND HAD TO THROW OUT MY GOOD THINGS I PAID GOOD MONEY FOR.
I AM SO UNHAPPY I WISH I COULD SUE THEM. I THINK I JUST MIGHT.
on top of all this my washing machine broke while I was trying to wash the sofa pillow cases. thanks for nothing.

This place is amazing! I’m a picky shopper and there was actually a lot of things I liked. The Supervisors are really nice. I need to go here much more often.

I’ve found great pieces here. Furniture and attire alike. Although, I think someone new has been in charge of pricing. Went in this week and found 2 chairs with potential. Shitty chairs (but rad) that I planned to fix up in my studio. They were 60 for the pair. They were, max, 20 bucks, in my opinion. Asked their helpful and kind staff to come down to 30… No go. Didn’t get them.

So many, beautiful and diverse vintage items! Everything from the furniture to the décor items! I’m coming back when I have my own space!

Used to be a great spot for thrifting. Just like what everybody is saying in their reviews, prices went up!

I used to come here with my mom all the time. Today I came back to see what changed. The place is much more organized than I remembered but the prices have increased a lot. I came at 10am and the parking was already packed. There are really good finds if you looks hard enough. I like this place better than Goodwill.

First off, this place is like a Costco of thrift stores because it’s fricken huge and is in a warehouse setting.
I’m from Arizona and I LOVE LOVE LOVE St. Vincent’s over there so it was natural that I finally found my way into the store finally earlier this year. I am not disappointed!
–I’m never really looking for furniture when I thrift but they have probably the biggest selection I’ve ever seen (and I’ve been to pretty much all the thrift stores in LA). The location is kind of a secret, and I always feel like I’m going to IKEA or something when I come shop here. XD
–Jewelry + boutique section is the bomb diggity. Come here on a good day and score on designer.
–Clothing-​wise, like any other thrift store but they always have streetwear brands in stock for some reason, my guess is that they are rejected samples donated from all from the companies that are based downtown or somethin’. Either way, come here for Stussy/​Huf/​Crooks and Castles etc (with defects, but I don’t mind)
–Home goods! They always have fun, quirky items and if I didn’t live in such a small house I would start collecting home décor.
–Pricing wise they are okay but I’ve been finding that most if not all thrift stores are raising their prices on merchandise as of late. Depends on what you find, the sales are pretty good.
Lastly, I love that they have a parking lot and a restroom! Plus they take credit cards.
Check it out! You will find something if you have the time and take the time out to look.

Ultimately, this joint would be 4 stars. Costco-​sized thrift store, generous parking, great selection of run-​down pianos and organs, a little pricier than other thrifts, but its huge.
But they get knocked down hard for their fucked-​up delivery service. We purchased a decently de-​stressesd bookshelf /​dresser and when the driver arrived several days later, they refused to help my wife lift it up to the front door. They said their policy is «strictly curbside», but what two men in this day and age doesn’t bend the rules to help a lady carry a heavy object? Its not like you’ll get fired.
Very un-​Catholic of you, boys. Eat it.

Great selection of furniture.
Large store with lots and lots to chose from. Items priced fairly and store split into sections (high-​end and regular).
The managers are friendly (when you can find them). The store is large so there are few of them and they are running around. There are volunteers who aren’t too helpful but everyone is very nice. We asked a manager for a discount on a couple of items and he gave them to us.
The clothes section is huge, they even have furs. And they sell cars too, bedding, you name it.
You could furnish an entire house and family here. The prices are a bit high considering everything is used and not in the best condition, you have to accept you are giving your money away to charity and overpaying for what you are getting.
The lighting is musky and dim.
The store could be cleaner
The parking lot is almost always full (especially since the Goodwill store closed down half a block away).

This place just baffles me. A year ago it was pretty decent prices for a wide variety of things. Now, they still have a large selection but everything is grossly overpriced. Basic wooden chair? $ 75. A few parts of a half torn apart drum set? $ 300. God forbid you want any of the decent looking furniture.
Feels like they figured out thrift stores are hip so they tripled their prices. Actually found some used glassware from the 99 cents store being sold for $ 1.29 if you need a good example.
Shame. Probably find better prices at Bed Bath & Beyond.

Follow up: while employees seem to be better in terms of customer service the prices continue to go up.
You will see broken stereo receivers for over $ 200. Torn up hats for $ 14.99. And random broken electronics behind the case all ranging from expensive to ridiculous.
Prices are no longer reasonable. Even trust fund hipsters will find prices to be very inflated.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy! The parking lot is pretty spacious though and the thrift store is HUUUUGE. There is literally everything you can think of for sale, like cars, laundry machines, furniture… and of course clothes!
There are also color tag sales too so make sure to check those!
I bought a crayola-​inspired striped sweater with a mock neck that was originally $ 8 but got it for $ 6 because pink tags were 25% off I think? I also got a grey plaid high waisted skirt that was priced at $ 7 I think. but ended up getting it for like $ 1.20, woo!!!
The prices are decent and you can definitely find many gems if you look! I also found a Givenchy button down but I didn’t get it because I didn’t like the colors.
There is no fitting room so make sure to wear clothes that you can wear over and always check for stains and flaws!

My wife and I went shopping for furniture and Saint Vincent’s has a bigger selection than anywhere else we visited. Their furniture is often times in really good shape too, though the price reflects it. Their staff is helpful and sufficiently equipped to complete their tasks. There are plenty of registers for check out, and they will hold bigger items for a few days if you need time to secure adequate transportation. When picking up, their loading dock makes the transfer easier, and their staff is again happy to help. I will be using Saint Vincent De Paul again for future second hand needs, I think they run a pretty tight ship.

This is one of those places that I have been coming to forever. It is great! If you are looking for the unique, the abstract, or the artsy you never know what you will find. Or, maybe you will find nothing but that’s okay too because there is always cool stuff to look at.
