Horrible experience. Marcos does not stand by his product at all. He did my store windows and promised that they were UV protected and all of our product faded horribly. When I called him, he refused to come fix the problem, and rather told me that he’d send me a new quote. Crazy

I’ve had 7 cars tinted by Solid Edge and it’s been great every time. The one time something was wrong they fixed it right away. They also powder coated my wheels.
It also helps that the owner, Marcos, is f*ing HOT!

Found solid edge online in a puddle of the million window tinting places around Hollywood. Referred to Unilocal /​availability with my schedule and took a chance, worked out great!
Marcos was a real cool guy and did fantastic work for a great price. I’m very happy with the way it all came out, there are no dusk specs or imperfections, everything is flawless.
Also, was very pleased to make an appointment Wednesday for that Saturday morning. The job itself took about an hour longer than expected but that was no big deal as there was a lot of options for lunch nearby. For the quality of work done, I was very happy waiting the extra hour.

They do a great job, I’ve only had my windows tinted for a few weeks but so far so good. No bubbles, very clean work. They take a tad longer then they quote you, but with the pro work. Enjoy a coffee and chill. Def. recommend Marcos and co.

There is nothing «Solid» about my «Edges» (See pics)
Because of the mostly great reviews, I decided to drop off my 2010 Toyota Tundra. After waiting two days to roll down the windows, I was very disappointed in the quality of work. After close inspection most of the edges were poorly cut and uneven. I actually trimmed a couple windows myself with a razor to achieve a straight edge. My two rear door windows have curved-​cuts in right-​angle corners, which is just bizarre.
Marcos is a very nice guy but the work is marginal at best. If you want a professional tint job, see the guy Al & Eds use at La Cienega and SMB. I’ve had a few cars tinted there in the past and the work was perfect. I should have went back there instead of giving Solid Edge a try. I’ll be having it re-​tinted.

Marcos has one of the most professional window tinting shops in Los Angeles. He owns his business and does the work himself, which speaks for itself in the quality of the tint and work performed. I had the opportunity to hang out with him while he was applying tint on a brand new VW and saw for myself just how amazingly patient and talented he is. He goes out of his way to make sure the job is done right and watching him work really assured me that he cares about each and every vehicle that comes into his shop. He tinted my Prelude a year ago and I brought him my 2012 Scion today, I won’t trust anyone else to do it.
Honest, friendly, professional, prices are completely reasonable and the work is excellent. Other shops claim to have a lifetime warranty but few stay in business long enough to honor that warranty. With the clientele he has, Marcos isn’t going anywhere, anytime soon.

I heard from a friend about Marcos at Solid Edge. She said he was excellent and his prices are reasonable. I had gotten a tint ticket a while back, and just didn’t have the time or patience to look for a place to put tint back on my front two windows. Also, I didn’t want to go back to the original place I went to because my tint has a reddish color, which I really don’t like.
I am fair skinned and get freckles really easy and I wanted something to block out the sun. This guy knows what he’s talking about. He suggested ceramic film. It was a little more expensive, but man was it worth it! No freckles AND my car is actually cooler.
Not only is Marcos really good at what he does, but he is a really nice person to talk to. (And on top of that, he’s incredibly good looking!) Not only does he do cars, but he also does houses and businesses. I didn’t realize how much work you can do as a window tinter.
I suggest Marcos to all my friends and none of them have been disappointed with his work.

Marcos does excellent work. He did go over his time estimate, but this isn’t something you want rushed. Also, the tint on the front windows of my car was too dark initially, so he re-​tinted them for free. Good guy. Good work. He even has a discount on his website. What more could you want?

The work is good, but he is NOT cheap. He will often take longer than expected. I was not happy with one of my windows and when I called to find out how much it would cost to redo it, he told me it would take 15 minutes and he would only charge a reasonable fee. When I pressed him to tell me how much it would cost, he said he had to see the car — which is a little annoying since he tinted the car’s windows, and a window is a window. When I brought the car to him, he said he would actually need a couple hours, which then turned into the whole day. The reasonable fee ended up being $ 50 for the one window. Maybe $ 50 is reasonable for some, but for me it’s a lot of money, especially for a re-​do.

Tells you that the price of your car will be «extremely reasonable» to tint, but that he won’t be able to say the exact cost until it’s done, and then charges you astronomically.
Tells you that your car shouldn’t take too long to tint, and then takes all day.
If you want to waste your time and your money, then the work is pretty well done. But if you value either of those things, find somewhere else.

Marcos did an amazing job and really takes pride in his work. I watched him install the tints from start to finish and would definitely recommend my friends to him as well. He also has a special technique for windows that have raised dots, as my 335 does. I’ll be going to back to him for all my future cars.
