As someone who is in the healthcare field, I have to say that I have been exposed to the work of many surgeons and physicians in my life. From the standpoint of bedside manners, technical expertise, manual dexterity, accuracy of execution, and most care for clients, I have never seen a physician quite like Dr. Soroudi before… Myself and my family have all trusted our eyes with him over the years and we could not recommend him any more! Dr. Soroudi, you r the BEST!

Dr. Soroudi literally saved my vacation. I had a massive, repulsive stye in my eye that progressively got larger and larger over the course of 2 weeks. It was NOT going away. I tried everything.
I desperately called Dr. Soroudi’s office the day before my trip and his staff let me know they were over-​booked but that I could come in and wait to see him as a walk-​in. I waited a bit, but it was SO worth it. Dr. Soroudi gave me a local anesthetic injection, and performed a quick surgery to clean out the stye. I was nervous but Dr. Soroudi and the nurse assisting him were really great and made me feel so comfortable throughout the process. He sealed it, patched it and gave me an antibiotic ointment. I was told to remove the patch the next day and was informed that my eye would look normal again. It was literally like magic. The next day, I removed the patch and it appeared as if nothing happened, no surgery, no stye. It was perfect. Since then (knock on wood), the stye has not returned and my eyes are in perfect condition.
Dr. Soroudi also gave me lots of really great tips and advice as to how to avoid problems like this in the future. He is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, highly skilled and maintains a calm demeanor all while dealing with tons of patients.
If I EVER need any help regarding with my eyes, I will, without a doubt be contacting Dr. Soroudi. I have referred my closest family and friends to him and everyone is beyond satisfied.

Hi, to give a background of why I considered Lasik Eye Surgery, it is safe to start with the fact that I wore glasses since the age of 2 and now almost 21. A family friend had gone to Dr. Soroudi’s office for his Lasik, and recommended me to him. Seeing how popular Dr. Soroudi is in the Armenian and Persian community, I decided to make an appointment for a free consultation. During the first part of the visit the staff ran a few tests and were so professional, yet comforting. Soon after I met Dr. Soroudi himself, he is one of the most sincere people I have met as a doctor and a person overall. You can tell he genuinely wants the best for his patients and really has patience to be thorough with the appointment. He went on to explain the results of the tests and told me I had hyperopia. No other doctor had over given me the name of the condition of my eyes until that day. We then walked through the surgery and discussed the outcome. Dr. Soroudi has been the only doctor I have come across with so much confidence in his work. I decided to make an appointment a month after for Lasik. The surgery room had music playing which automatically made everything better. The surgery is probably easier than getting a tooth pulled out and Dr. Soroudi talks you through it so you know what is going on. It took around 10 minutes. The only time I can say I felt any discomfort from this entire process was the ride home. My eyes felt really sore and as if they would be sensitive forever (This is me being overly dramatic after a simple surgery). Fast forwarding to the next day for my 24hour post-​op, my eyes were at ²⁰⁄₂₀. My eyes have been getting better since. Remarkable how in a few hours, someone can go from being attached to their glasses to having perfect vision. I recommend this procedure to anyone that wants to get rid of their glasses and I DEFINITELY recommend you to see Dr. Soroudi in that case. Can’t imagine trusting anyone else with something as important as my eyes. Great experience.

Did my lasic a month ago and had my 1^st month check up ibam really happy with my results.

Best doctor around the area of ventura, i felt so welcomed in the office from the experienced of the front desk to my check up with dr. soroudi if i could give him and his staff 10 stars i will :) cant wait to have my lasik done next week.

I finally had this procedure done called PRK. It’s a LASIK type procedure but the best part is my cornea that had scarring has been repaired and goodbye glasses. In the past, I was told that this was not possible. I knew there had to be a way, so I never stopped looking until I found a wonderful doctor named Dr. Soroudi. Today he told me that my vision is now ²⁰⁄₄₀. I have never been able to see this well. If you are ever told that you’re not a candidate for Lasik like I was, give Dr. Soroudi a call.

I’ve been waiting for a long time to find the right doctor for my eyes. I interviewed a few doctors but after all my appointments, I was left unsure of whether I should be doing LASIK or not. After my sister did her LASIK with doctor soroudi and I saw how happy she was, I decided to go for it and go in for a free LASIK evaluation… Right off the bat I felt like I was in the right place! The surgery went great and now I see a million times better than before. In fact, I see perfectly! I highly recommend Dr. Soroudi. He definitely knows what he’s doing and he’s very good at it! After I did my LASIK, I referred my best friend and because he booked his surgery, they gave me a free pair of Ray bans! Love this guy and his staff!!!

It is a rare case in which a Dr as high profile and busy as Dr Soroudi will even bother with responding to reviews and complaints. The fact that he did so tells me that he truly cares about his practice and the the people that he tends to.
I am impressed and glad Dr. Soroudi took the time to message me, and it makes me feel that anyone looking for an eye Dr in LA would be hard pressed to find someone like Dr. Soroudi.

The profound fear of anything coming remotely near my eyes was enough to keep me away from seeing any sort of ophthalmologist for years, let alone contemplate the idea of a refractive procedure.

Ah they finally opened up a location in the valley!!!
For me who works about 10 minutes from this location, it’s a godsend! Dr. Soroudi is worth driving down to Westwood, but if I can see him in Encino, it’s a no brainier.
I’ve visited this office twice, once for my own eyes and once for my mother’s. My mother also brought my grandma here once.
Dr. Soroudi is one of the, if not the, kindest and most attentive individuals I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.
He did a LASIK procedure on my eyes back in 2010 (wow it’s been over 4 years!!!) and my vision went from extremely poor (and high astigmatism) to ²⁰⁄₁₅! Over the years, I’ve gone back to see him for check ups and general questions and he’s always given me the attention I needed.
Because of his attention to detail and the fact that he never overlooks anything, it does cause you to have to wait, as well as needing to schedule an appointment in advance. However, this is to be expected when working with a doctor of this caliber; the wait is WORTH IT!
HIs new office is much bigger (from what I can tell) than his Westwood office. I love the more modern design and the layout is definitely more efficient.
If you want to have your eyes be better than ever, than Dr. Soroudi is the one whom you need to see!

My grandmother has been seeing the same eye doctor for eons, and has recently had an issue with her sight that her current eye doctor has not been able to resolve. My aunt and I had been trying to get her to seek a second opinion, but her fierce loyalty to her current doctor caused her to put up a wall to our requests. Finally, after numerous visits to her current doctor that led to no resolution, she finally caved in.
My aunt had heard Dr. Soroudi’s commercials and decided to make an appointment for my grandmother. The first available appointment to see Dr. Soroudi wasn’t available for about another month. Unfortunately, my grandmothers ailment was regressing by the day. I decided to call Dr. Soroudi’s office myself to see if they could get her in sooner since her condition was regressing. The lovely and polite Bahareh obliged, and we were able to see the Doc much sooner.
From the minute we walked in, his staff was very attentive and warm. When we got to see Dr. Soroudi, we were very impressed, both myself and my grandmother, by his bedside manor and genuine concern. After a number of exams, one of which her other doctor completely overlooked, Dr. Soroudi determined we had to see a neuro specialist. Within a few days, we discovered that my grandmother had a tumor that had been affecting her peripheral vision. The other doctor she had been seeing overlooked a simple test that would have illustrated this. Mind you, we saw him numerous times. Dr. Soroudi got to the root of her ailment within ONE visit. If it wasn’t for Dr. Soroudi, my grandmother would be in big trouble. You are truly an angel, Doctor Soroudi. I will be scheduling an appointment for a checkup of my own eyes. Dr. Soroudi is truly one of a kind. He has a genuine concern for his patients and has a bedside manor that is second to none. Thank you, Doctor Soroudi!!!
