They open between 400−430a? They don’t open at same time every day? Not smart at an airport … Odd.

Worst drink I’ve ever had. The employees are rude and impatient. No hello, no thank you, and certainly no smiles. Absolute FAIL.

I love giving great reviews. It’s my thing. But my experience at this Buckies was horrible. The two young women at the order counter were rude and snotty. I kept trying to speak and they kept giggling and were in here own conversation on a busy morning. When I got my drink the barista called my name and said here is your latte, extra hot. I did NOT order it extra hot. I thought that was a pretty nasty trick. Not cool.

Every where I go, I try a flat white. Even though all the staff had coffee masters aprons, my flat white was more like a latte, typical of most of the Starbucks from which I’ve ordered a flat white. I think it’s probably better to stick to ordering an espresso macchiato. Almost $ 2 less too. I may try location again as Delta likes to use terminal 6 a lot. I also a whole shelf full of reserve coffee, and of course, a clover. Perhaps I should just stick to that as clovers do not rely on anyone’s technique. Of note to anyone who has not tried Kenya on clover, iced– it’s one of the best iced coffees from SB.

… Wait they don’t have splenda… Also, on a side note, the floor tile grout is really deep so it makes making your way through the always long line with your rolling luggage a chore!

This is a Starbucks Reserve location. I had no idea what that meant until I went to Seattle to their fanciest Starbucks Reserve. Aside from much fancier beans, the décor of a Starbucks Reserve is elegant and not like your average office retail space Starbucks. This Starbucks, aside from being a Reserve, also offers Starbucks Evenings, which is a relatively new concept to gain market share in the Happy Hour space. Craft beer and wine and small plates are served, while coffee and tea can still be ordered Alcohol is served after 12pm The line moves at the pace you’ve grown accustomed to with all LAX customer service… slow and grumpy. When two TSA workers yell at the Starbucks staff and manager to get their act together, you know it is bad. I was in line on Sunday morning for about 10 – 15 minutes, and each customer within earshot couldn’t get what they want because this Starbucks was out of something. They weren’t accepting Starbucks gift cards as a form of payment, out of salt and caramel, couldn’t make someone’s frappuccino so he ordered a latte instead, no breakfast sausage/egg muffin even though the poster said Enjoy Anytime(so all day, right??), this and that. I didn’t particularly like seeing gallons of milk out of the fridge with the caps off. Maybe it’s not a health concern because they go through gallons quickly but it’s like someone touching the door handle after using the toilet without washing their hands — sure, she probably didn’t touch her own piss in the wipe, but it just doesn’t feel right. All Starbucks probably do this but they usually keep that out of sight. A tall cup of plain milk(poured milk on the receipt) — is $ 3.15. Geezus. I needed to take a pill that required to be taken with food and didn’t want any complications with caffeine etc and had no time to buy real food. Milk is basically liquid protein and I didn’t have time to go all the way back to Hudson News. Also, the $ 2.90 blueberry scone didn’t taste good — something seemed artificial about it. I am no food critic but i certainly did not enjoy it. There’s nowhere to sit but that’s OK — that’s what the gates are for. If I come through this terminal late in the afternoon, i might try the Evening menu but otherwise I will just wait for free airplane water to quench a thirst next time. The space might say Starbucks Reserve but I didn’t see any fancy roasts like they have at the Seattle Starbucks Reserves and the service was anything but.
