I called Ryan @ 9am on a monday morning and told him that I needed to have a commercial portrait taken right away.
He squeezed me in @ 11am the same day, and I gave me a quote higher than others but I was in a rush so I set the appointment.
I show up at a artsy loft building on westmoreland (never seen it there before).
Inside his studio was really nice and felt like a real studio.
I show up, and setup took about 10 minutes and the actual session maybe another 15 at most.
He imported the photos into his desktop, we picked one,
he did a little photoshop touchup (a few blemishes but mostly lighting and exposure) and I was out the door with a photo on a usb drive by 12.
The result? It’s only been one day and this photo has been garnering a lot of compliments. It is now on my Facebook business page and I have absolutely no regrets about going here, despite being a little more expensive than other places.
Only negative: he doesn’t take cards. I had to drive to the gas station nearby and use the ATM.
I was a little flustered on a monday morning and I wasn’t really sure about the whole process until I went home and looked at my finished photo and not I am 100% satisfied!

Ryan is an awesome and great photographer!
He is very professional. He gave us great direction so we really felt comfortable and our pictures came out awesome! The day of the wedding was great and I was so thrilled to have Ryan as our photographer. He started taking pictures at 11am to 11pm, with his second photographer. There was no extra money for starting early. He has a lot of experience about photography and he’s been to many wedding events. He knows many things… he even did my wedding veil after I got back to the hotel from hair salon and he made a bustle my wedding dress train. Whenever I got confused or embarrassed, he helped me with many things. I will be working with him again in the near future. I highly recommend his service.

I was introduced to Ryan and when i saw his work, my wife and i really liked his pictures. He is a pro and has many years of experience.
Ryan does the photo shoot from the beginning to the end with the same heart and attitude. When we were outdoor and taking pictures till late at night i could see that he put his effort and energy into it. What i liked about him was that he couldnt be satisfied with ok or good pictures, but it has to impress him and and be perfect. so we didnt have to worry about the pictures. My wife and I didnt shop to other studio because the price he called was good for us.

I really think my photo decision with him was the best part of my whole wedding stuffs. He is really professional and knows exactly what I want. He is a great team worker as well and also very friendly to my family, guests, and even kids so that the outcome of the photos were great enough!
We were following his pre-​made concepts in our engagement session, and when we saw the results, it was just like a movie film.
Also the wedding day, he was really professional to take every moment of my event so I could remind every scenes !
I definitely recommend Karo studio, nobody will regret with its best value of photography and well organized services.

It’s unbeliable how much any photographer charges for wedding photos. It seems anyone with a camera can claim they are professional photographers.
We saw about 7 different professionals and decided on Ryan from Karo professional studios. Ryan was a professional photographer for a fashion magazines and major journals in Korea so he has a lot of background. He also does web designs and commercial photography.
We signed for outdoor shooting, wedding and photo albums. Many different packages available to meet your budget. Among 7 people we talked to, Ryan had better pricing and packages.
We spent about 7 hrs for outdoor shooting (went several locations, Santa Monica, Downtown and Little Tokyo) and he spent all day for our wedding day starting from make-​up till the end of the wedding.
He was very professional and easy to communicate. When we saw the photos we were blown away, looks like the photos in the magazine. look at our photos and check the photos on his web.
when you’re looking for photographers make sure you get their resume and experiences and references. when we were looking, we found few were just assistants with no major education.
