The only good thing about this small store is the location. It is only a few blocks from my home. If you can avoid going to this place, DO. First off, the store is small and often dirty with an odd smell. But they have a good selection of goods right? Wrong. Everything here is either expired, freezer burned, or both. I picked up a can of tomato paste, date was from 2012. NOLIE. No thank you. I told the cashier, and all they did was put it back on the shelf. GROSS. And then, I purchased two small 4 oz Ben and Jerry’s ice creams to satisfy my sweet tooth but not ruin my diet. Got home, opened one, ready to dive in, and it was FREEZERBURNED! Complete top layer down to the middle covered in ice. YUCK. So I decided to take it back, the cashier said no refunds! On an item that is your fault I couldn’t consume? Hmm. And then I asked for an exchange, and they only took the unopened one. I bought a 1.5 quart of Breyers, lightly freezer burned, but by now I just want some ice cream. I walked out never desiring to set foot inside again. For a store that gives homeless drunk people beer for free(yes, I witnessed this), you couldn’t give me a refund for my hard earned money? No thanks, Sunny. I’ll shy away from this store. You should too.
