The walnut bookcase, I purchased is stylish and functional. The owners were very helpful and I love my purchase.

What an awesome place! I went in to find some things for my place, and found a dresser and a book shelf for a good deal! The place was just a little small, I was hoping for a few more options but it’s a small place and family run. I could haggle the price a little bit, and they let me pay with cash/paypal so they didn’t charge me for taxes. Then they delivered it the same night for just $ 50. Two guys carried both pieces up 3 flights of stairs. The guys were so nice. Definitely will be back when I need more pieces!

We had a wonderful experience with this vintage and custom furniture store! We were looking for years for the perfect credenza and had very specific sizing in mind as well as a certain style we wanted replicated. Sunset Bazaar had our design custom made for us, and was extremely thorough to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Then we needed one little thing adjusted and Jonathan and Lily came over to our house, fixed it in 5 minutes, and gave us a lovely bottle of prosecco for the inconvenience. We will be definitely going back to this place for any future furniture needs.

This company has great customer service in addition to nice vintage/mid century pieces with decent prices. Prices are negotiable and they were very accommodating. We bought a small credenza in great condition and so far we LOVE it in our place. They also offer a 3 day trial and a full refund if you change your mind. We have our eye on other pieces and definitely will be coming back. Parking: looks like there was only street metered parking(but they help load the furniture in your car)

These guys are awesome! Great selection of vintage furniture at reasonable prices, and an even better selection of in-house replicas that are extremely well made and affordable. The guys that own the shop are very helpful, friendly and straight-forward. They will accommodate specific requests and custom make a lot of the things you see in the store. And they make them and finish them very well. My wife and I purchased a gorgeous walnut credenza(which they made to our specifications, quickly I might add) and matching bedside tables after searching through dozens of area stores that offered lesser items at far greater cost. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!

Great place, friendly service. The furniture is very cool. The furniture had a mid-century modern style, many replicas, and some original pieces. We bought two pieces and a great price.

Great family owned business here for mid century pieces! There’s a mix of authentic mid century pieces as well as a lot of replicas. Prices are not bad at all for the furniture here compared to what you would pay for with real pieces. Really wanted to buy a ton of the furniture they sold here, but already had pieces for my place. If you want the mid century look without the mid century prices, do yourself a favor and check this place out!

My wife and I were in today to look around, but ended up taking a beautiful cedar chest and walnut shelf. The shop is simple, but really well decorated and nothing but good vibes and cheap prices. You can also walk around which is appreciated and rare if you’re into this kind of furniture. Cesar and the other gentleman(name escapes me) were really welcoming and friendly and worked out a great deal for us. Literally nothing bad about this place at all, highly recommended. We love vintage/mid century furniture and have slowly been replacing all our ikea gårbage(pronounced gurbidge) with the real stuff over the last year or so. We also love Sunbeam Vintage, but after checking out a few hilariously overpriced, albiet beautiful, places such as Mid Century LA we found this place on Craigslist. So happy we went, it’s a winner and cheap too.

LOVE this place. I’m so happy we found it. They have awesome pieces… and just enough. They don’t fill it to the brim so you can’t see anything in the mess. Everything is displayed beautifully with a variety of options. They also refinish some of their pieces and do an amazing job. Really beautiful work. I was tempted to have them refinish the pieces I bought, because the cost was super reasonable, but I enjoy doing it myself. When I told him I was going to refinish it, he gave me great advice and told me the different finishes he uses. Really helpful! I walked out buying more stuff than I planned because they have such great stuff. They’re not pushy at all, but are very friendly and available to answer questions. I ended up taking pix of pieces I knew some of my friends and family were looking for. They also have delivery! Definitely recommending this gem to everyone I know!

Small but nicely curated vintage furniture store in Silverlake, mostly mid-century wood pieces refinished by the owners. I found a great credenza here and the friendly manager was willing to give me a good discount for paying cash. Even better, they were able to arrange delivery the next day(much faster than West Elm with their weeks of shipping!) The delivery fee was very reasonable and the guys even drilled holes in the back of the credenza for media cords. I would definitely go back next time I’m looking for a small piece of furniture.

I’ve had a lot of good luck at Sunset Bazaar. The prices are fair for what you get, the staff is super helpful, and arranging delivery is a snap. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the market for a vintage wood credenza, coffee table or desk.

Good selection, mid-ranged prices(they’ll haggle), and good customer service. I’ll be going back for more.

The shop owners are always willing to bend a little on their ticket prices. Lots of great pieces coming in. I have bought a dining table and a set of 4 upholstered chairs for my home here. They are very good at refinishing furniture. My table top is so smooth! Good vintage at good prices!

Okay, this place DOES have some AMAZING things but it is NOT cheap! It is standard prices for mid century furniture… around $ 300 for a desk or credenza. Lots of stuff.

If you’re looking for vintage furniture in Silverlake, this is the place to go. The prices are great(and negotiable), the store is clean and organized, and the service is fabulous. It’s amazing to me that places down the street charge at least double for their Danish Modern furniture. Sunset Bazaar has a great selection of tables, desks, bookshelves, chairs, and lamps. They also have a lot of great mid-century pottery, so if you’re buying gifts for someone with great taste and an interest in furniture design, this is a good place to start!

Great store! Lots of interesting pieces with more arriving almost every day. This family owned business(2 brothers and their sister) are most helpful and will negotiate on prices. Be sure to check out the room downstairs. I recommend this store to anyone interested in mid century furniture at reasonable prices.

Went into the store, emailed the owner of the store to offer a price and Boom! done. Paid cash and they wrapped it up and delivered it to me in the evening. Awesome store. When you go in you might think it is expensive but TRUSTME, they are a bargain compared to melrose and silverlake shops if you are willing to do the vintage furniture thing.

Great selection of sometimes hard to find mid-century furniture. Friendly staff. Might be a touch overpriced, but they will negotiate with you. Will deliver too.

I’ve been here a few times and they’ve always had something that caught my eye. Most stuff seems fairly priced, and they do bargain. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful. I was trying to choose between two pieces of furniture, and they told me to go with the Century piece as it was way more solid. And it wasn’t even an up-sell, as both pieces cost the exact same. Delivery is quick and very affordable, they literally followed me home right after I paid. They occasionally have sidewalk sales where I guess they put more inventory out back so those are fun to browse through.

Interesting stuff overall, and the staff is really nice, but nothing that really jumped out at us. They say they specialize in mid-century modern stuff and they do have a decent collection, but it’s spotty and some of the stuff is more run-of-the-mill antique-type stuff. Prices aren’t bad, aren’t great, just kinda average. They have some really gorgeous Danish Modern cherry and walnut lamps but no bargains here as they’re going for about the same at all the bigger designer mega-marts. Some nice artwork for sale as well, so I’d say if you’re in the neighborhood and are looking to browse, definitely stop in. There is another store next door, Pepe’s Thrift Shop, that actually has much better deals but is jammed tight and not much of a showroom — more of a pile of interesting stuff.
