Best happy hour on the sunset strip hands down! Half off drinks and appetizers, should be way more crowded because of how great it is but being surrounded by so many other bars it is overlooked. Happy hour everyday, service is great, drinks are strong. If your bar hopping make a stop here first.

How could I have just barely discovered that you have THEE best happy hour in LA? Will you ever forgive me? (I’d give 5 stars, but I just started «reviewing», and I need wiggle room for rating, right?). Anyways, very cool place, nicely furnished, very sweet server, delicious specials, good beer, outdoor seating, on the World Famous Sunset Strip, I mean come on! Even the big party of imbibing Iowa football fans in town for the Rose Bowl (hot girls, and their boyfriends) were kind of charming. Anyways, I was looking to just chill on New Years Eve, and I just couldn’t have had a better experience. You guys made my night. Can I ever relive it? Well, I’ll try, see you this evening! We had our holiday party at Sunset Trocadero Lounge last week and the staff was really great. We had an open bar, which is hard to argue with and there were light pass arounds. The food was delicious. I met a local at the bar who visits regularly and he had great things to say about the bar. I will be back to visit on a regular night as well!

Been coming for YEARS! At least 10. (Without admitting my age. And/​or getting them fined. Good vibe, flatscreen a for all the major games. Great servers and my bartender Shea is a quality mixologist. As for Food A+ filet minon tips with sautéed mushrooms hands down a must have.

Discovered this place in my search for a happy hour that lasted until 8pm. Decided to check it out and was pleasantly satisfied. I was a little concerned about not being able to find a table because of some of the other reviews, but I guess due to it being a weekday there were several tables available. The food was definitely amazing! My friend and I shared the lamb chops, shrimp spring rolls, ahi sashimi, shrimp scampi, and French fries. I would recommend ordering any of them. Left there quite satisfied.

The bartender was so busy flirting with some chick at the bar that we waited and waited to order food and when we did he said «oh you just missed happy hour… It’s 8:01»
What horrible customer service. You know how happy it would have made us to just honor considering you talked your way out of happy hour so… What your check average is higher?! I would have tipped you on the regular price of the food… But when he said he could honor the drinks but not the food I just wanted to tell him he was full of it. You run off aloha… You aren’t cut off from honoring the happy hour price for food. It’s a customer service issue.
Literally I brought a friend of out of town here for he amazing happy hour and this was the first impression… Won’t be coming back. Nickel and dimming your customers makes your bar look cheap and greedy.

This is a great alternative to the major bars off of Sunset. I would recommend this bar for happy hour with co-​workers or a great place to start before dinner.
The bar: It’s on the smaller side with only about five seats at the actual bar counter. It does offer some sofa/​lounge chairs indoors with high tops on the small patio.
Prices: They are very reasonable compared to the other offerings on Sunset but the ambiance is not the same. I actually prefer this.
Overall it’s not somewhere to go dancing but a cool spot to enjoy conversation and people watch from the patio.

This drunken loser was cut off insanely early and was completely wasted. She is a pathological liar, and the bartender begged her to just leave after she was screming profanities amidst the patrons attempting to enjoy Happy Hour. Thirty minutes later she was carted off in an ambulance from Cabo Cantina across the street. She is lying through her teeth and I have NO idea how this blithering idiot drunk even posted this bullshit review between the time she was asked to leave and was carted off in an ambulance. She should almost be commended if she was not such a drunken obnoxious jerk…

Being as though, I am unable to delete this review all together. I thought I’d approach this with a clear head. I had a few drinks last night. I am not completely aware of what transpired throughout my visit & caused things to escalate but I do know the bartender exchanged a few profanities with me & I got angry. He asked me to stop swearing when he was doing just the same to me. I then decided to post a bad review as I was so angry and clueless as to why he was making a big deal out of me using the same words as he.
Anyway, in response to the guy who replied to this & took to my messages with slander. I wasn’t taken in an ambulance lol — your story was a good one though ;)

Like everyone says, one of the best happy hours in town. Really good food at half off drinks and appetizers until 8PM. One of the best options on the Sunset strip esp compared to Cabo Cantina across the street. Come here and fuel up for the night first! At an affordable price!

It’s been a while since visiting the Sunset Trocadero. My wife and I were staying in a hotel and decided to go for a drink before dinner. We found a table next to the window when passing by, so we grabbed it. We just missed happy hour. I ordered a vodka martini and Sunset Trocadero pours them BIG! Not one of those hoity toity places that charges you an arm and a leg and gives you a mini martini glass… this place folks, uses old school BIG martini glasses… and the martinis are served PERFECTLY cold!

Great oldschool bar on Sunset in WeHo (I hate saying that). The place is relaxing and doesn’t seem to get that busy. The service and staff are nice and not too pretentious (which is rare in these parts). They make good drinks, the OJ/​RedBull cocktail is unique :)

My favorite plate, the Grilled Lamb chops with garlic mash potatoes and a mixed green salad. I Only eat lamb chops here! I love the food. After 5 years of getting my fav meal. I recently tried the mac& cheese with bacon! OMG ! So good! I also had shrimp wrapped in bacon. I thought the lamb chops were great everything I tried here is wonderful. I hope the chef never leaves!. Also the service is always delightful .
Pam is the main host and she is the Best! Everyone say Hello to Pam she is the sweetest !!
Recently I went again and tried the steak sirloin tips WOW! So good! Have to have my own order it’s so good!
I also sat at the bar for the first time and met Jason who is the best and coolest bartender! If j could make it to happy hour every night I would be there! I love this place. The food, drinks, the friendly atmosphere and Pam and Jason are the Absolute best!!!
