Enjoyed the tour! We weren’t going to do one, but we got handed a flyer and the guy talked to us about it. We got to go for a cheaper price. Our driver was the Australia guy and he was funny and showed us awesome places including Julia Roberts house and Jonah hills house ! Got to get out at the site seeing looking over the bowl was beautiful! Not sure why reviews are so bad but we really enjoyed it!

I have never felt so unsafe in my life. I don’t know if our driver was drunk or high but he drove like an absolute maniac. We eventually got in a car accident, and he handled it so unprofessionally. He told all of us to stay put about 20 minutes into the tour but 3 of us wanted to get off, and get our money back. They did not refund us our $ 75 and laughed at us when we said we would sue.

Stay Aware, buyer beware, this all about $$$$ and is depending on your negotiating skills and who you are, you will get scammed. Price is neg. and you do not know who you will get behind the wheel. This is the second and the last place we use, next time, we will do it ourselves. By the way if you do this, then do not tip. Your tips are based on good great excellent with $ 10, $ 20 or $ 30. They should announce a tip of $ 0 for those who are scam artists, and I am being nice here.

UNSAFE. RIP-​OFF. By far the WORST TOUR I have gone on anywhere, including some pretty hairy ones in developing countries. When the tour van arrived late, it was in terrible shape. Worn out and dirty, with American flags thrown down for seat covers. (Really!?)
Terribly dangerous driving immediately started as we were trying to find seatbelts that worked. Swerving into oncoming traffic, u-​turns in the middle of the block on Hollywood Blvd., etc. We stopped at the first viewpoint on Mulholland Drive, and then found ourselves going all the way back to Hollywood Blvd. to pick up more customers. (With heavy traffic, this involved a major waste of time and more dangerous driving.) This is when our driver finally sideswiped a car, as he pulled into oncoming traffic one more time. He almost left the scene until we pointed out that he had hit someone. At this point we valued our safety enough to get out, and when the owner arrived, he refused any refund or apology. In fact, he went into a tirade of insults.
The surfer-​stoner driver dude was fun to talk with at a stop, but not someone I would ever want to trust my life with again.
Looks like our experience was consistent with other customers who have reviewed. Lesson learned: Check Unilocal first!

Awful Business! I could go into detail, but that would be me wasting my life. Read negative comments below should be a grave warning. Don’t worry about it costing more elsewhere. seriously you’ll thank me

My sister and brother were visiting from out of town and we were approached by a guy who was very friendly and persuaded them to take the tour the next day while I was at work; they did not enjoy the experience. They were loaded in one van and had to swing back because they needed to get a van with a canopy since it was going to be hot. That would be a nice gesture except that the van they switched to had a big hole in the back seat and my brother was in the hole for the entire ride and leaning toward a stranger who was on the other side of the hole. The tour guide seemed bitter about the celebrities and their lifestyle and did nothing but complain and criticize the rich and famous for being rich. He started eating and they could hear him chewing loudly in the microphone. The guide also mispronounced things on the tour calling Hermes ‘Hermies’. This was not a tour they could recommend based on their experience.

These liars drive in front of my home every day and make shit up. According to their drivers there have been many different people who have lived at our home and a number of movies have been filmed there as well. It’s all made. Consumer beware.

This Place is horrible never come here. The guy rips everyone off and gives different prices to different people. Never come here ever. The cars are gross. So disorganized it’s better to pay for another tour that is a bit more expensive than this shit!!!

Stay away… I would give them minus stars if I could. I wish I had checked Unilocal be fore I gave these scam artists my money! Of course they were extremely nice and very aggressive before I was rush to the register with my money for a non refundable ticket that they don’t point out. They promised we would be leaving right away but of course a large car took off with us still standing on the sidewalk. I was not happy so a mean little man started speaking to use very rudely and put me down. I wanted to get on the tour while it was still day light. When we were finally boarded onto the dirty top less van, the driver Anthony is pointing out dogs on the sidewalk and took a half hour to drive us around the block, pulls up in front of the store saying his battery was dead for his microphone. …I call bull! They wanted to see if they could add more passangers. My daughter and I got out of the car and asked for our money back. Then all three of the people started yelling no refund… read your receipt. …Over the top screaming. I told them I would call the police… smiles at me and says go ahead and laughs at me. They know all the little scam ways to get around things… I am so blown away how shisty these people are… going forward I will check Unilocal before anyone gets my money… don’t go anywhere near this company… out 50 bucks and a tour… I don’t know how these people sleep at at night.

We took a tour this afternoon and our tour guide was Anthony. He was very knowledgeable and took us to see all the LA sites including Capitol Records, the lookout point on Mulholland Dr where you can see the Hollywood sign, tons of stars homes, and Sunset Blvd. The van was open air so it was easy to take photos. It got a little chilly once the sun went down but Anthony planned ahead and brought blankets for us to use. Overall it was a wonderful experience. We will for sure tell others about this tour.

Dreadful tour.
We were taking a walk at the Hollywood Blvd at evening and one of their people approached us and promised that if we took this tour right then we would be able to watch the Hollywood sign and celebrity houses etc.
We would have. Probably. If not for the fact that 1 minute after we started moving the driver got a call about some new poor people his buddy had duped into taking the tour so he drove around the block to pick them up. He kept making silly excuses and random tidbits about the blocks as we essentially took a really long U-​turn. We lost about half-​hour in the process and essential sunlight so the rest of the tour was just a random drive at night without any of the landmarks being visible.
While we picked the new folks, the guide kept shuffling people randomly in the bus to stuff everyone in. My pregnant wife was made to change her seat around 4 times before she’d had enough and asked the guy to make up his mind.
At the end, the driver aggressively asked for tip when we were leaving the bus. I usually tip guides a minimum amount even if their services were horrible but his sarcastic «oh no tip?» remarks were amounting to panhandling so I simply ignored him and walked away.
Worse experience ever. Stay away.

So terrible. These guys lie to you about where celebrities live. They just make it up. My cousin, who’s a real estate event in Beverly Hills, came along for the ride. He couldn’t stop laughing. He knows where some of the cited celebs live, and they DON’T live where these guys say.

While 2 friends were visiting from out of town, we were walking along Hollywood Blvd when approached by an aggressive sales person selling tickets for this tour. When we looked at the list of places/​things to see we thought it would be a really great tour so we were sold. There was a ghetto fabulous open tour van parked where he was selling the tickets and he stated the tour would begin in 5 minutes. We were the 2^nd group of people to line up so we should have known it would have been more like 15-​minutes. When he sold enough tickets, the ghetto fabulous bus (see pics on Unilocal) left and another van pulls up that does not look nearly as fabulous as the first one because it was so dirty inside and out. Apparently, the first one is the one to attract people.
Out of nowhere a rude man in his 60’s steps in the van and tells us to come on group by group. The first group went and started heading towards the back and he rudely demanded they sit in the first row of seats. When we got on I told him we wanted to sit in the last row but he demanded that we sit in the 2^nd row. So the last people to purchase tickets were seated in the last row. Basically, the last group to purchase tickets gets to sit in the best seats. The best seats are because you can turn around and take photos as well. Other tour buses will allow people to sit wherever they want. So the first person/​group to get on the bus picks their seat, then the next group picks their seats, etc.
The driver seemed nice and tried to provide us with information but his microphone was broken. It kept crackling and making a screeching sound that eventually he turned it off. Sadly, I was in the 2^nd row and as much as he tried to talk loud it was still very difficult to see him. While driving around turns, he thought it was funny to go really fast while people were scared of falling out. It was odd.
This tour can make your LA experience a miserable one. They don’t take you to half the places that are mentioned on the list they show before purchasing tickets. As mentioned, they trick you into believing that you’re taking a really fun looking van until a crappy, dirty one pulls up. Since the equipment doesn’t work properly, you’re driving around looking at things the same way you would if you drove yourself. You stop in front of places but because you can’t hear the driver you have no clue what you’re stopped in front of. There are many other tour companies and although they may be a little more, it’s worth it to pay for a much better experience. Lastly, the individuals I encountered were extremely rude, except the driver.
