Syed R Quli Mobile Notary

Mr. Quli seemed like a nice, polite man.
However, he made two critical mistakes while notarizing my document.
1. He switched the boxes where his signature and address were to be filled
2. When I asked if it wouldn’t be a problem, he guaranteed it would be fine, citing his years of experience doing this exact thing. He added that he would refund the notary fee if it became a problem, but I told him it’s not about the money but the hassle I would go through. He then insisted it definitely will not be a problem.
About a month later, my form was returned from the county clerk’s office for that exact reason.
It’s been a few months since I met with Mr. Quli, and I’m still waiting for the documentation to be approved because of all the additional hoops I had to go through as a result of Mr. Quli’s mistake.
I called Mr. Quli once when I received the notification mail, but he didn’t pick up.
I kept putting off thinking/​writing about this experience, but finally found the time to leave a review.
Based on other great reviews, I’m guessing he’s normally good at what he does.
I hope this would serve as a reminder for Mr. Quli to be even more meticulous with his work.

I am sure sooner or later, there will be an easy fluid app that is designed to schedule a mobile notary. This industry is littered with inconsistent and flaky notaries. In fact, there have been numerous times I have called around for a notary, only to get voicemail after voicemail. Maybe all of the notaries strategically take off for vacation at the same time. A convention possibly?
With that said, I am lucky to have met Syed —
I had a customer that needed an apostille in Los Angeles. I had the pleasure of working with Syed as the notary. As irresponsible as it may have been, they needed this apostille returned within two days. I didn’t think this would be feasible, although Syed was kind enough to accommodate and returned their apostille within 24 hours.

After going online looking at quotes. I am highly disappointed. I came to his home and he charged me $ 125 !!
There was nothing wrong with the service. He was nice, courteous, and professional.
The problem is I came to him and I was over charged.
I would only recommend him as a mobile notary. For your own personal convenience.
