Synergo Music Method specializes in teaching music rhetorically, which is the way Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, and most other great composers learnt. We teach all students, from absolute beginners to advanced, including aspiring professional musicians. The rhetoric approach utilized by Synergo Music Method stresses content, rather than form. Unfortunately, most institutions today approach music formalistically. A formal approach ignores or undermines emotion in music, as it stresses structure rather than meaning.

The rhetoric approach views music as a compositional plan consisting of expressive musical patterns (such as rhythm, pitch, harmony). Synergo students learn to interpret these musical patterns (idioms) and bring them out in their performance in order to move the listener to a particular emotional state. Our students develop a life-​long love for music.
