Hard to turn down $ 1.00 tacos. Meat is a little too finely chopped and didn’t have any char unfortunately. For some reason they were really low on the onions and cilantro. Al Pastor tacos: 4 stars Asada tacos: 3 stars Chorizo tacos: 3 stars

Just had my 1st experience with this joint and was surprised how a little spot on the corner of a quiet street with just 3 spotlights on the fence to keep you from driving right by it, could in fact produce such delicious tacos! I tried the carne asada, carnitas, lengua, & tripas. The carne asada & carnitas were very good and tasty. Im a bigger fan of lengua & tripas. Having said that, the lengua was just ok, i wouldnt bother ordering that again, but the tripas were MONEY! The tripas were cooked very well and had a nice toasty crunch to them(something i usually have to twist someones arm for), the salsas complimented the tacos very well, along with all the trimmings! If your in the mood for some truck tacos, I would definitely recommend this place. All tacos and drinks are a dollar each, so no confusion there, AND they patiently wait for you to finish your meal BEFORE mentioning the bill. nice touch! Note: They only accept CASH, so come prepared.

Best tacos outside of Mexico. All the meat choices are great and the prices are dirt cheap. Friendly service.

This place looks really questionable upon arriving but don’t be sketched out! The food is yummmms. Walking up you’ll see a big thing of carne asada cooking and the rest of the meat on the cart. Drooling already. There’s a good selection of toppings and everything is well organized. There’s grilled onions and peppers too! Just help yourself. They’re near the grill. I’m not a fan of all the intestines and stuff like that so I just stuck with regular meats. I tried the suardero and carne asada. I liked the suardero best. Slightly crispy, not too fatty, and very tasty. You have the option to ask him to make it more crispy for you if you like it that way. Give it a try! Their horchata is good too. Must try at least once.

Yessir! I was on my way back from LAX and my friend was all like let’s get some tacos, so I was like let’s go! We stopped at this joint and I must say that the tacos were epic! I had 2 chorizo, 2 tripa, and 2 suadero tacos. They were amazing and the suadero had a bit of extra crispiness to it. I was blown away. The best part is that they’re only a $ 1 each. No bullshit tax or anything like that. A flat dollar bill will get you an awesome taco. Oh, we’ll be back for sure. Ps. They have bombass grilled onions that are made on the same grill that the meat is, so they’re bathed in meat juice. Behave!

I have a lot to say about these tacos. I am very lucky to live down the street from these guys! I live on 41st& Compton and whenever I feel like being a fatbutt I go get me some tacos. There have been a couple of times where I was craving tacos non-stop for a whole week. I had tacos everyday for a week and it did not hurt my hello kitty wallet one bit! At first I only got their Asada tacos, dry. But their grilled onions started to grab me so I went for it. I always get 4 tacos de Asada with guacamole, Raddish, limon, and grilled onion! oh man that is bomb! Their meat is cut really fine but has soo much flavor. They are there everyday after 6. On weekend it gets mega pack like a huge line! But worth the wait. They also sell horchata(rice milk) it is so good and I don’t like horchata. Anyways, besides the good tacos and huge lines, there is a guy who sells bootleg movies. Tacos and movies in the same place well that’s my kind of customer service.

BESTTACOSINLA! Try the S U A D E R O ! ! ! And tripas too omg yum… 10 out of 5 stars. Okay, so this taco truck is literally on a random street corner with nothing around it… Looks SOSHADY but makes the experience that much more AUTHENTIC!!! The first time my friends took me here and I saw the little makeshift taco stand my heart immediately leaped for joy because i LOVE street food and you know, the dirtier the food, the better. ;) I started getting even MORE excited after approaching the cart and seeing a huge vat of meat stewing in its own juices and fat, meat and onions already sizzling on the grill, and a whole row a beautiful condiments. LOVEATFIRSTSIGHT. ++SUADEROOOOO: I had never tried Suadero till I came to TEC but it’s the most amazing thing ever. Suadero is a thin cut of beef from the brisket and has a very smooth texture. Once you order this the owner will take a chunk of the brisket from the stew, chop it up, and then FRYIT until it’s nice and crisp but still retains it’s soft, juicy interior. AMAZING. ++TRIPAS: I had just eaten 4 tacos(and I was on a diet –__-) when I saw the owner take out a type of meat I’d never seen before. Being the curious fatass I am, I instantly asked him what meat that was so that I could order it next time. And being the AWESOME owner that he is, he let me try a tripas taco ONTHEHOUSE! Yum free food = yummiest food. It was so UNCTUOUS and I will def be ordering more of these next time i go. ++Cabeza: I’ve always wanted to try Cabeza so I did so on my second trip here. Next time i want to try it again without all the condiments because I couldn’t really differentiate the flavor because my mouth was one fire from the red hot sauce. ++Lengua: The lengua is very soft and juicy; It’s not fried to be crispy the way the Suadero is. Very Good but nothing to write home about. ++Condiments: The red sauce makes your mouth go on FIRE. just fyi. Their guac and green sauce will help you cool it down and there’s 3 types of onions to choose from: THICK cut grilled onions, diced raw onions, and spicy slices of marinated red(?) onion! If you’re a princess and think that eating street food is beneath you then DONTCOMEHERE. You don’t deserve to eat such amazing food. GOHOME, you can’t sit with us!!! Haha jk. Get over it and go enjoy the best tacos ever. OH! And bring wet naps to wipe your hands after because there’s no dainty way in eating these bad boys.

I’d had dinner but I had a little room left for a couple o’ tacos and this place had been calling my name for months. I surrendered to the taco siren’s song and dug in. The carne asada was great. Lots o’ little crispy bits, good beefy flavor, very happy. The al pastor was also packed with little crispy chunks, was a little sweeter than I prefer but was good. Lots of options for condiments. I was especially interested in what looked like a sliced red onion, diced carrot combination. I had a small bite and nearly backfired like an old car. That wasn’t carrot. That was diced Habanero chilis! Yooo Baby. A big mouthful of that would have been like swallowing lava. The guys clearly enjoyed what they were doing and were having a good time. The fact that they stored their used knives in links of the chain link fence behind them made me nervous but I tried to ignore it. Great food. Tacos for $ 0.75. I’ll be back.
