Our mission is to develop aspiring entertainment students into professionals in their field. Our independent and creative teachers can teach you many things including mixing music, music production, instrument lessons, dancing lessons, vocal lessons, and more. We have a sense of understanding and compassion to teach for each of these entertainment fields of study. We stress the total development of each student and Take Sessions exists to teach the development in fundamentals of your course on an individual pace. We encourage our students to pursue their dreams and explore a new career in the business starting here in Los Angeles, the city of dreams.

History

Established in 2012.

Take Sessions was formed by 3 independent professionals in the entertainment industry. We teach many students per week and work together to offer the best prices. Take Sessions works directly with people who don’t have an overhead cost so the price doesn’t get pushed to the customer.

Meet the Business Owner

Jonathan S.

Business Owner

JJ, 22 has been giving djing and production lessons for over 5 years. He has taught over 200 students and has made it his priority to see his students achieve both professional and creative. At 19 he started interning for Studio B films as part of audio composition in San Francisco. He then worked for Skee. tv in editing and for the syndicated radio show Skee.247. After leaving he quickly worked to build a network of talent and started a music collective. Their work has recently been featured on Fuse, NFL, Buzzfeed, and separate music blogs. He has also received a video and audio editing scholarship from ASGE.
