Meet the Business Owner
Marcos and Ruta Q.
Business Owner
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he is a third generation dancer, originally learning his first tango steps from his grandfather on the families’ back concrete patio. After years of study, he performed as a featured dancer in the best tango houses in the 1980’s — 90, in Buenos Aires, including El Viejo Almacen, was a principal dancer in Argentina Tango & Pampa, the national tango TV show Grandes Valores del Tango and was on full staff of Argentina’s Presidential Committee of Entertainment performing for official presidential events and dignitaries visiting Buenos Aires. In 1991, after several world tours, Marcos signed on his a world tour of Viva Tango, as principal performer. He settled in Los Angeles and since has shared his time between Los Angeles, Las Vegas and International tours producing tango shows, festivals, performing and teaching his passion.
Together with Ruta Maria, a professional tango dancer and teacher herself they have opened LA’s only Tango Boutique Studio for you.
