This place is so welcoming! from the moment I called to the moment I walked in ! Everyone is very friendly and patient. They helped me decide on what would look great on me and arent judgemental at all. before starting the tattoo, I was shown that material still being in the package, completely sealed, and even the expiration dates. i love my tat, came out amazing ! I will definitely recommend this place to everyone !

My wife and I decided to get our first tattoos. George was really friendly and was able to take us the same day. I send him the image we wanted and he gave me a price quote over the phone. The artist who did the work, Pete was also very friendly and he did great work. George and Pete made our first tattoo experience fun and easy, their shop is clean and they were very professional. I would go back anytime.

Just got my nose pierced here yesterday ! Great people. Owner, everyone is friendly. i took a little long deciding where on my nose i wanted it and kleo was super patient ! I had also gotten my belly button pierced here about 2 ½ years ago and the service was also great ! Ill definitely come here for anything else i want.!!

One Dec 29,2015, I visited here for tattoo. I was expecting a lot because of the Unilocal reviews and having 5 out of 5. But the result was horrible. I saw lots of photos posted on Unilocal,and everything is so good and perfect. Wondering what happened to mine. People was friendly. Tattooing time was fast (only took 15min to do mine). Paid $ 80 for mine. But horrible job done. Seriously. I rather pay over $ 100 and get perfect tattoo and rather spend 1 hour than getting crappy tattoo. Just see the photo. I posted on photo section (tattoo on finger/​/​XII.XVI.MMXV)Fyi, all strokes on letters needed to be straight. Also there shouldn’t be empty space on first ‘M’. Also, letter sizes needed to be all same. These are only the major problem. If I start to list all minor things, there will be no end. I sent email but no answer from them until now.

I walked in for ear piercing and Kleo took care of me. I had a great experience, the place was clean and comfortable, everyone there was friendly. Thank you!

George, the owner was extremely accommodating. He made sure we were pleased with the tattoo we wanted done. Pete did my tat and my sisters. He was just as nice as George and very detail oriented. We had a very nice experience at this shop and highly recommended.

Been here twice now, George the shop owner is awesome! Pete, one of the artist does such a great job! Got my Jedi tattoo, and my girl friends Pisces. Both came out amazing and does the tattoo in a very timely manner, lines are straight, shading solid. Been too different. Shops with parents and friends, can honestly say this is one of my favorites! If your considering getting a tattoo or piercing, stop by and check it out! Also pricing is great, a lot of shops have a shop minimum and George is super flexible!

Found this place through Unilocal and I’m glad I did! GREAT PLACE! Came in not too long ago around 4:30, not knowing they closed at 5.
We were immediately greeted and everyone just seem so nice and happy. They told us they’d have no problem taking my sister and I even though they were about to close.
George was great! He asked if we wanted water, very nice!
And they took their time and actually talk to the customers and make sure everything is good!
I got a little tattoo but they still took the time and made sure everything was to my liking unlikes some tattoo artists who get annoyed and give attitude at other shops! Will definitely come back!

Randomly decided to get tattooed with my sister after eating some burgers. Super glad we came in to Tattoo Love. From the first time we walked in it George made us feel welcomed. Our tattoo artists name is Pete! He’s amazing at what he does and we will definitely be coming back for more tattoos

Long story short the first weekend in Nov. George opened his heart and his shop to the California Library Association and inked up several librarians during our annual conference. I loved my experience and I love my tattoo. Pete hooked me up. Tne style is simple like I wanted, and the colors really pop. I live in the. Bay Area, but would totally travel for another piece.

Just got my first tattoo, and the folks at Tattoo Love made the experience comfortable and fun. The atmosphere is homey and George and his peeps were kind and helpful. Pete did the needlework and I love the result!

Happy Pre Anniversary gift to me!!! I just got my first tattoo by Pete and it was an Awesome experience! I got my husband’s name on my wedding finger and the infinity symbol right under it! I love it! Pete was so friendly! Shout out to Pete, George (owner) and Kleo! The atmosphere was so calm, welcoming and clean! I will definitely be back if I decide to get another one! The owner, George was extremely helpful in getting me set up for an appointment. The artist, Pete was phenomenal. His apprentice was courteous and all in all I left their shop undoubtedly satisfied. My third work of ink and by far the best– and I owe it to these guys. Thank you Tattoo Love!

I was so excited yet terrified to get my first tattoo but I was determined to be brave … After all, it was for my babies name and I gave birth so THIS couldn’t be as bad right?
From the moment I looked them up, contacted them to going in, it was all very amazing! The owner was texting me back and forth and let us know he had an opening and to just come down. Once we got there, the team was super professional yet fun and really made me feel comfortable given the circumstances of about to have a thousand needled pulsing in and out of my skin lol.
I let my hubby go first to see his reaction and he didn’t flinch. I picked a simple, sweet, girly font (let’s be honest… I wanted something that took less then 5 minutes due to the pain I was about to endure). I went through a bunch of font and picked two that I loved and they were able to blend them together. Once I got in the chair, they were so accommodating, making sure I was ok, right there with a fan and cool water (probably in case I passed out hahah) and whenever I asked the tattoo artist to pause, he did immediately and allowed me to take my time. I never felt rushed.
It was also my hubby’s first tattoo and I already know he’s going to be back… And if/​whenever I decide to get more done, I won’t go anywhere else! I wish I could give 10 stars.

Got my nose pierced here! Only 30 $ The service was amazing! And the workers were extremely friendly! They were exceptional in speaking to my mom about the Piercing and how it works and explaining that it was not anything to be sketched out about! The placement of my piercing was excellent and they were extremely cautious to place it exactly where I wanted it to be! I have never pierced anything and as you can imagine my mom was skeptical at first, but after discussing everything with them she was more than fine. The pain was definitely tolerable. Not bad at all. Also, they were very helpful on instructing me on how to clean my piercings and prevent infections. Over all extremely satisfied and definitely recommend to new pierced. Staff is very friendly and bilingual! (:

My second tattoo done by Pete was amazing. I love the atmosphere at this place and as always George and Pete two of the greatest guys to help me with my tattoos. They always make me feel so calm and at ease whenever I come in. If you want a great local tattoo place there is no better place than tattoo love.

It was everything Unilocal reviews talked about! Super friendly and fun! Got my septum pierced and using a catheter needle made a world of difference on how painless the experience was. I am in love with my tattoo from Tattoo Love– and I can’t possibly give the artists here a more positive review.
The idea came to me years ago, although my tattoo in its final form only came together the day before I was to get it inked into my skin. I hesitated over the last few years, intimidated by the idea of tattoo parlors, afraid of the pain, afraid of the permanence.
I did my Unilocal research, still half-​committed to the idea — and found that the most highly-​rated tattoo parlor was actually located in my neighborhood. After I bookmarked Tattoo Love, I wrestled with many different images, locations, and phrases I might get for my first, purposefully etched right after my 25^th birthday.
I still felt like I needed to find out more about the process, and decided to walk in on a Friday night, about thirty minutes before closing. The artist — named Pete– was in the middle of tattooing someone else, but there was a young woman at the counter who asked me what I was thinking of getting. Both of them were really down-​to-​earth, open to discussing my thoughts, and seemed like they really just wanted to make sure that they get the right idea of what I was interested in getting.
I left after a few minutes, with an appointment for the following Sunday; they also asked me to send them a few images of what I had in mind.
I sent Pete pictures of sample tattoos, although none of them completely captured the image I had in my mind for myself. In fact, I hadn’t even completely captured it in my own mind. I just knew I liked certain elements and hoped they’d be able to come together cohesively. Before my appointment, Pete asked me follow-​up questions regarding font sizes, placement, size, etc. I felt comforted knowing that he was preparing and asking great questions I hadn’t even thought of yet.
I arrived on Sunday afternoon with my sister and one of my best friends; nervous but resolute, I realized I had been mentally preparing myself for this moment for years. Pete and George were ready and waiting for me, with a mockup tattoo that Pete had created based on my preferences. It was perfect– it was like I had been picturing it without knowing it until I saw it in person, there, at Tattoo Love.
George was friendly, professional, and even asked me what kind of music I like to listen to. Shortly after I was seated, I recognized Muse’s «Starlight» playing on the radio and I knew everything was going to be fine.
Pete verified the placement, the spelling, and the size before beginning his work. I braced myself, expecting a sharp pain. Instead, I experienced what I can only describe as a slow burn — somewhat uncomfortable but definitely tolerable, especially when coupled with the thrill of being able to watch the process in front of me.
Overall the procedure took about half an hour, and all the while I was talking and laughing with my friends. George checked in on me to make sure I was doing okay about halfway through. I was a nervous kind of calm but I was certain in my decision — something quite rare for me!
At the end of the appointment, Pete went over the aftercare instructions with me, which were actually much easier than aftercare for my lip and cartilage piercings! George also gave me a $ 10 Unilocal discount, which was just another plus from my overall experience with Tattoo Love.
I walked out with a small, ornate tree on my left wrist. The silhouette of a bird flying out of it. Underneath, the question, echoing T.S. Eliot’s Love Song — ‘Do I dare?‘
Yes, I did dare. And it felt gorgeous. Still does.
Thank you, Tattoo Love! I’m happy to know that if any of my friends start to feel that resolution to engrave a certain, constant truth — I can say I know just the place and they’re going to love it, too!

This is for sure my GO-​TO shop! George, the owner is so nice and values his customers. Also, does amazing art work. He did a lotus flower on my mom’s back. Came out so pretty! Got my outline done here back in July and today, got it all finished. I’m absolutely in love with how it turned out. Pete’s my artist. He did such great work on my shoulder. The other artists are so chill and make you feel so comfortable. I overall love the atmosphere and the people.
