Do you have straight or wavy hair but have always wanted to try dreadlocks? Or do you need dreadlock maintenance, dreadlock extensions, or dreadlock repair?

Ter Venice La dreads I specialize in creating excellent, solid dreadlocks for all hair types and textures.

I create dreads using our specialized THAI crochet-​hook technique with a pull-​and-​twist base that is gentle on the hair & results in a longer and more compact dread.

I never use any chemicals, wax, or hair products of any kind. No rubberbands, no string, no interlocking, & no waiting for your hair to «dread up” – you’ll leave your appointment with finished dreads as thick or thin as you want them.

All services are $ 60/​hr. A 1-​hr deposit must be made in advance to reserve your desired date & time.

Please book your appointment early as we tend to get booked 1 – 2 weeks in advance. Our clients travel from San Diego, Encinitas, Orange County, Ventura, Santa Monica, Hollywood, and even as far away as Australia (I am only a few miles from LAX) for dreadlock placement & maintenance.

My name is Ter, I had doing Dreads fro 18 years and I do my won dread. I come from the tropical island of Koh Samui, Thailand, where I honed my craft of creating dreads using the Thai crochet-​hook method. No matter how straight or fine your hair texture, I can make your hair into solid dreads. No chemicals or products are used in my technique and unlike other natural methods, you don’t have to wait for your hair to lock. When I am finished dreading your hair you’ll be left with complete dreads that last.

I learned my unique method of all-​natural crochet-​hook technique from my native island off the coast of Thailand called Summui. I have over 17 years of experience and have created and maintained my own dreadlocks, as well. I can lock any type of hair and can take out dreadlocks or clean up and assist with problems. Please be sure to speak with me before booking (you will be booking an appointment with me and I will be personally working on your hair. DO NOT book or be serviced by anyone else. My experience, reputation and unique technique is in high demand so there may be imposters which will not provide you with the quality of work to which I adhere.)
