I love the Baby Box Co! My box arrived chock full of organic/​sustainable/​safe goodies for my baby boy. The fact that the box doubles as a resting place for baby is a total bonus! We bought a house and moved three weeks after having our baby and the Baby Box came in very handy as we set up the new home. I could always have baby near no matter what room I was working in! Now my baby is almost two and our Baby Box is now a cute and practical toy box. He loves putting his toys away and I love putting the lid on the box at the end of the day for a tidy look. We will be using the Baby Box for years to come and this is now my go-​to baby gift for showers and business associates.

My husband and I are so happy with the baby box! It is such a great idea to use the box (with a very cute design!) to put your baby to sleep, which you can bring along with you anywhere in the house so you can watch him/​her. The box seems to be very sturdy and safe. It is also great for the tummy time and when my baby outgrows the box I will use it to store/​organize his toys! I also loved so many goodies inside the box that are organic/​natural and super great quality as well as samples and coupons for more good stuff! The box basically provides everything you need for your newborn. I love the baby box so much and I would strongly recommend it to everyone I know who are expecting a baby!

My wife (6 months pregnant) and I just opened up the baby box and we are so impressed! There are so many adorable things in there– onesies, swaddle blankets, bibs, etc. The little duckie onesie actually made me say «aww» out loud, and I’m a dude. Not to mention all of the coupons and helpful basics! There were things in there that I hadn’t even thought of (or didn’t even know existed). Gents– if you are in this situation, just pick the item up and say, «oh perfect, we needed this!» I’m super happy with the baby box and can’t wait for our daughter to be here to try it out!

I got mine as a gift and have to admit I had never heard of the idea, but what a wonderful idea it is! Everyone should give one as a shower gift!

I have to admit, I was a little skeptical when my husband told me he wanted our baby to sleep in a box. But I have to say, after I did a little reading about the baby boxes, and how they are such a great, safe place for them to sleep, I couldn’t help but agree… Our baby would sleep in a box! The items that come inside are wonderful and applicable, especially the bib, pacifiers and swaddle blanket. We take a lot of road trips on the weekends, so the baby box doubles as a suitcase for our daughter’s things. I would highly recommend anyone expecting to consider getting a baby box. Our daughter sleeps in a bassinet at night, but when napping or when we are on a road trip, this thing is fantastic! OH My Gosh! The box arrived today and can I tell you… this thing is so stinken cute! I can’t wait to give it to my sister in-​law who is having her third baby. I was gifted a Baby Box when pregnant with my second child… love it! The goodies arrived in an owl box (with mattress) that also functions as a mini-​crib. Here, in Los Angeles, space is at a premium, so I love having a teeny, safe place to rest my baby when I need two hands. (Two hands aren’t a luxury until you have kids, yes?) My box came with a cute little outfit and multi-​purpose swaddle blanket… just the right stuff for a second child of the opposite sex.

Ever since I discovered Baby Boxes, they are now my go-​to gift for all my pregnant friends!!! Everyone always seems to love them. They are unique, adorable, and really useful. They contain all the must-​haves for new moms, like Angel Dear loveys and soft Aden + Anais swaddles, and all these goodies arrive in a mattress-​lined box that babies can sleep or just relax in. The box is great to use as a nighttime crib/​bassinet which the mom can keep right next to her bed, but a couple of my friends mention that they like to keep the box in their kitchen or living room so they have a safe place to set down the baby while they’re doing dishes or cooking or whatever. Very convenient!
Also, my friends of course love the European flair :). These boxes are based on the boxes Finnish women have been using for decades, and one of the Finnish boxes was recently given to William and Kate as a gift for baby George… I figure, if it’s good enough for the royal baby, my friends will certainly love it!

Baby Boxes rock! I gave one to my friend at her baby shower and it caused a huge splash. It really stood out at the shower (it’s so much larger than the other gifts) and it was a really unique gift that my friend had never heard of. I don’t know about you, but I think sometimes it can get super boring watching the mother-​to-​be open a million baby blankets and clothes. This was for sure the first gift that people didn’t have to pretend to be interested in… ha.
I got a lot of «oohs and ahhs» and my friend was really happy with the box, the fact that Princess Kate had a similar one and that there were so many things she needed in the box.

This baby box is awesome and oh so adorable! My brother and I pitched in for a classic boy box for our cousin who is due in March and we can’t wait to gift it to her at her shower later this month. I love the idea of the box (which has a lovely owl print) serving as both a gift box and a bassinet. I have a 2 year old at home, so having recently been there (the whole over stressing/​registering for a bazillion baby items, and the whole first month home with baby like a zombie business) I know that this box, save an infant car seat/​caddy, some newbie diapers/​wipes and lots of rest, is essentially most everything my cousin needs to get started for the first couple of months. The box is already filled with a TON of quality/​practical items (so it makes for an impressive gift, or a good buy for your expectant self), but I also like the box because it is roomy enough to add a few items. I might make a trip to target and add lanolin cream and nursing pads (since my cousin will be breast feeding) and i might want to additionally supplement with a sick care component (a cool mist humidifier, infant Vicks rub, baby Vicks plug-​in, saline spray, infant Tylenol, teething pellets and mylicon/​gas relief gripe water, since new parents will at some point be needing these and its nice to have them handy when illness calls). Of course my cousin’s baby will eventually (months later) use a real crib, a stroller, high chair, convertible car seat and baby bottles, etc., but this box does really contain almost everything she needs right away (somewhere safe to put the baby down for a nap, cloths, diaper cream, a first aid/​grooming kit, bath stuff, bibs, a swaddle blanket and burp cloths), and all conveniently packaged in one adorable box. New moms might be skeptical about putting their baby to sleep in a box, but this one is highly fashionable, fitted with a comfy mattress and any mom would tell u that this is as safe as any store bought bassinet. Great find from Finland. Highly recommend!

There are so many things I love about The Baby Box Co. that I hardly know where to start. Part of that difficulty starting could also be because I have pregnancy brain to the point where it’s become difficult to string words together into sentences, but I digress. Wait, what was I saying? Man, I need a nap.
Seriously, though. I don’t have to tell you guys that preparing for the arrival of your mini-​me can be seriously daunting task. If you’re anything like me, you can’t so much as add a pacifier to your baby registry without first consulting Consumer Reports. I cannot even TELL you how many hours I sunk into trying to figure out A) what I am ACTUALLY going to need, and B) of those items, which are the best brands out there? What actually works? Which products can I trust?
This was before I heard about TBBC. And now I’m telling you, so you don’t have to scour the interwebz for hours and hours like I did. Instead, feel free to spend that time looking at funny pictures of cats. You’re welcome.
Apparently the idea originally came from Finland. For some time now, expectant mothers in Finland have been provided with a sort of «maternity starter kit,» which consists of a collection of new mom must-​haves packed into a box. The box, lined with a mattress, can also be used as baby’s first bed or a travel bassinet. It is thought that this has contributed to Finland’s extraordinarily low infant mortality rate. How cool is that?! Ummmm, our government has yet to give me anything but a headache during this pregnancy. Still waiting for my collection of awwww-​inducing onesies, Obama!
Enter the lovely ladies at The Baby Box Co., who have improved on this genius idea and made it accessible to moms here in the States. Not only are the boxes absolutely flippin’ adorable (and neutral enough to go with basically any nursery décor), but they are packed with literally ALL of the essentials. This way, when baby Beckett arrives, I won’t have to send my husband out on baby supply runs and he’ll have more time to go get me ice cream and coffee. Priorities, people.
I would already love love LOVE this product if that was the whole story, but TBBC also donates a portion of each purchase to help disadvantaged women get prenatal care. AND for each box sold, they will donate a box to an impoverished mother to help her and her baby get the best possible start. I cannot IMAGINE anything that will get you a better response from a mom-​to-​be at her baby shower — a box chock full o’ baby booty AND a case of the warm fuzzies? C’mon, now. Too awesome. I could cry just thinking about it. Of course, I’m six months pregnant, so I could also cry watching insurance commercials, but that is beside the point.
Expectant moms have plenty to deal with: combing the literature, setting up the nursery, finding a pediatrician, picking out names, worrying about diet and trying to get in the exercise their OB insists they need to find time for despite the fact that just getting out of bed feels like a Herculean effort. Or is that last one just me? My OB is a harsh mistress, I’m telling you. ANYWAY. If you know a mom-​to-​be or are expecting a little one of your own, make her/​your life a whole lot easier AND help moms in need by supporting this unique and conscientious company!

These baby boxes are amazing! They are jam packed with everything a new mom needs! I got one for a new momma and It just never seemed to end as she pulled out all the products, she was so excited and it’s such a darling package.
